Michael Jackson 1958-2009
YES - I did have the opportunity to meet with and speak to Michael Jackson. It was in 1983, long before Faith, before I had children infact. We were both in Los Angeles, as I was a writer and set producer for a strange lower budget film. Michael showed up on set only because he had a few good friends who were connected to the movie. I remember he was in the backseat of a car being leased by an actress in the film. She asked me if I wanted to meet Michael. I told her I wasn't a star-gazer but she insisted saying he wanted to meet me. I agreed to meet with him but felt uncomfortable with the level of security and mystery surrounding him. I told him I wasn't like that - - I wasn't one to hide or go into hiding and I didn't want to seem imposing either. Being a fan of his music didn't mean I wanted to invade his privacy -- he giggled and in that second I realized this was a man with less connection to reality than most. We had a good 10 minute conversation, me doing most of the talking, but he did respond and he did add a few comments. I told a friend this morning that it was as if he hadn't been spoken to normally so he didn't know how to respond or communicate normally. People DO THINGS for Michael rather than just talk with him. I talked to him, I talked WITH him and for that he thanked me. That was it. He was too insecure to continue an actual friendship - - but he sent me flowers to the mansion I was watching and it was sweet of him to do so. My attorney Debra Opri is a former Jackson family attorney - - she was with the family in 2005 during the last trial. Lots of prayers go out to the Jackson family from my family and to the lives and hearts all of the Jacksons have influenced and touched. Rest in Christ's Glory Michael.

C.A.R.E. (Community Animal Rescue Effort) of STRAWN, TX
WOW, you would not believe the turn out! We had more than 300 people show up for a couple of shows on Saturday, April 4 in a town of 508! Now, of course, I realize that folks from nearby Mingus, Gordon, Ranger, and Thurber came around - - but it was awesome! I was able to use all the kids and have them scooting around on their bellies as if they were little two-legged puppies. It was fun to watch them "learn to walk" upright like Faith did. I hung out with some really cool ladies - - and yes, they remained ladies even after our impromptu "Pyrate Nite" at the local bed & breakfast - - the Thomas House. The girls and I decided to take a little off the record tour of the house since I had the whole place to myself. We went into a very scary dark basement and found treasures untold! We made up stories, drank a little out of paper cups, smoked the cigars and yes, yes, I took Faith into the Mule Lip Bar where we met a couple of surprised locals. The manager of the Thomas House made us all French Toast and strawberries for breakfast! It was awesome. I slept in the big house ALL BY MYSELF with Faith - - 6 empty bedrooms except ours. Do you have any idea how many ghosts the girls and I came up with before they went home around 2 this morning? HAHAHA....I don't mind, the ghosts were pretty tired too. We all slept well, and I'm going back. The important thing is that Faith's visit to Strawn, TX (2008 STATE Champions of 6-man football - Hi Bowie!!) was that we were able to help 7 dogs get adopted, we collected a lot of money for the upcoming needs of C.A.R.E., and we were able to form friendships and even a business partnership with C.A.R.E. I'm giving 10% of my proceeds from sales at www.chermarketing.com to C.A.R.E. for one year or until they get their new shelter! Thanks for the fun and for bringing us out C.A.R.E. of Strawn, TX....kiss those dogs and cats for me!

GOING TO SEATTLE!!!! (Ft. Lewis, Baby!)
OH MY GOSH....we get to go to Seattle again! I love Seattle. I can't even imagine life without going to Seattle at least every 6 months. It's been about 9 and I'm about to die. I love the air, I love the sea, I love the land. I love the soldiers, and YOU KNOW I love the coffee......this time it's even better if you can believe that. We're going to be seeing the new movie by Jake Rademacher titled "Brothers At War", a documentary that Jake wrote, directed, produced, and poured his heart and blood into -- Gary Sinise, David Scantling, and Norman Powell are producers. I can't wait to see it....but I know I'm going to cry several times. No mascara March 24, that's the rule. Oh, and Faith of course will be going, and she'll be at the PX loving and squeezing on kids and meeting the families of not only the Ft. Lewis soldiers, but the Air Force Base (McChord) is right next door! They'll come over too! We'll go to the hospital, visit the patients, get some love on with the Leverings....Marcus and Laura had a new baby named Caleb since I was there. This is going to be so cool. Thanks to American Airlines for getting us there, and to Mr. Pat McGhee at Ft. Lewis for the arrangements to and from and on the base. I LOVE YOU!!

URGENT - - My Starbucks Gold Card is running low.
OMG! OMG! For the first time in a very long time my Starbuck's Gold Card is in danger of depleting. My once beloved fans and friends are curbing their once freely given generousity. Times are hard, I know....but please! I have to have my coffee people! LOL...OK, I'm laughing about it, and I should because it's been a really great thing since my birthday when someone posted my Starbuck's card number and I began receiving gifts from wonderful coffee lovers who just think I'm the coolest thing and they load up my card. I wanted to tell you thank you....seriously, thank you. Oh, and if you're interested in loading more onto it the number is: 6050 5271 5423 8426...just you know, incase. LOL

King Leon and Caity
I'm sure that King Leon has a longer name, it's Leonious or something - I'm not up on the movie 300, but my son and obviously Caity are. Reuben has seen it 300 times I think. Anyway, Caity and I went to the Noah's Ark Animal Shelter in Gainesville, TX today and look what she did....she adopted a puppy. I think officially my name appears on the papers because she didn't have her I.D. with her, but she paid for it, and she's taking care of it...he's a boy. He's HUGE already at 9 or 10 weeks old, and will be about 150-180 pounds when he's fully grown. He's a mixed breed with primary breeds of St. Bernard and Husky in him. He has gorgeous husky blue eyes and a big big head and body with floppy big feet, and he's marked exactly like a St. Bernard. I think she's going to have her hands full - - I know she's going to need a bigger bed soon. My bed if full with Faith, Matrix, and Rupert, so he won't be sharing with me. I know she'll take excellent care of him and he'll be HER dog - - Rupert tends to be with the rest of the pack that surrounds me most of the time.

Vice President of Operations: Faith the Movie, LLC
Wow....you raise a dog, write a book, sell the rights and they make you the Vice President of the motion picture adaptation. That never really occured to me as being reality when my son brought the yellow fuzzy ball of mess to me 6 years ago. I think I was thinking "My God son, how are we going to get this dog up on her backlegs? She'll die if we don't." That was what I was thinking. Well, now I'm thinking of ways to meet with investors, make the trailer attractive for that purpose. I'm finding out more about locations, leases, releases, permissions, orders, commitments, lengths of time a particular product can be seen on screen, what I do have to pay rights to and what I don't. I'm the one you come to with questions about the dog, but I'm not the one you want to ask if you have a money issue. That would fall under Finance. I'm Operations! Either way I make things happen, and I always have - - it wasn't easy, but Jesus got His point across to me when He told me years ago that He had a plan for me. I believe I've found it. I'm suppose to tell the world that you can do anything you THINK you can. What was it that Henry Ford said?: "Whether you believe you can, or you believe you can't, you are right!"

Reuben's part has been cast for the movie already! (GREAT guy)
Reuben's part in the movie about Faith actually titled "FAITH" will be played by Todd Farr. We originally believed Todd's friend and co-actor in Rockabilly Baby (Denton Blane Everett) would be playing Reuben - - but we were mistaken! Todd Farr (www.imdb.com) will be playing the role and I just met up with him this weekend at the Trail Dance Film Festival in Duncan, OK. Todd's movie career will be soaring HIGH soon enough - - Rockabilly Baby took Audience Choice at the Trail Dance, and will be seen in favor at several more festivals this season. Look for Todd to be playing the wickedly selfish role of "Dirty Dawkins" a man who manages Everett's character of "Baby Boy Watkins" in a screenplay adaptation of a play written by Leslie Jordan and produced by our movie's production company of Timber Creek Productions. Reuben is really excited to meet up with all the crew, but wants to give Todd a few pointers on how to play him perfectly - - Todd's gonna need to learn how to rear back and burp at the same time he...well, let's wind! Reuben's pretty famous for that one! He's also a great football player, big brother, and of course, an American soldier! Todd's got his work cut out for him, but he's a big strong good looking man...he can handle it!

REUBEN and the GOLD COIN
Reuben called me Christmas to wish me a Merry Christmas of course, but he also told me that he recieved another military coin. It's a REALLY big deal in the Armed Forces when you are recognized with a coin. They are specially made by someone with a high enough rank that they can have a coin made in their name and honor so that they can pass them out to deserving service men and women for various duties of excellence. Faith has 5 coins herself. She's 2 up on Reuben, but not even FAITH has a coin from a 4-Star General! Reuben got a gold recognition coin for doing something great, but to be honest he was so jaw-dropped and in awe of the General himself, that he didn't remember exactly what the commendation was for. The official photo will be out soon, and it may very well be published in the Stars and Stripes. Reuben is so funny! He's adorable, and doesn't know what he could have done to received such a high and amazing reward...I do, he's perfect. He's the perfect soldier, and the Army recognizes that -- at least that's what I'm telling you until I hear otherwise. I'm sure Reuben will call me soon and tell me what it was for officially. Congrats to the boy!! OOPS...the man, the soldier! MY SON!!

Good Morning Tulsa!!!
Faith and I were interviewed by KTUL's Channel 8 BEAUTIFUL Kristin Dickerson today at 9:20 a.m. We were asked a few things about Faith's military status, her role in the Army, and what she did for her birthday. We went to the Oklahoma City Veteran's Administration (hospital) yesterday to celebrate it. It was a blast. We asked the GREAT folks of Tulsa to come up with some investors for the movie, and we hope they can. We'd love to keep the filming in Oklahoma if possible. Good Morning Tulsa! Hope you got your Holiday Happies with Faith this morning!! She was adorable in her ACU jacket!

Christmas at the Norman Veterans Administration TODAY!
Merry Christmas! This was our first of hopefully many visits to the Norman, Oklahoma Veteran's Administration on E. Robinson. If you are in the area please stop by and call up Regina to have her give you a guided tour. You can meet Travis, Willie, Johnny, Mitch, and so many other great vets who have served our nation through the various branches of the Armed Forces. There were a few hard-core Marines giving me fits because we're more or less Army! It was fun! I love the love these guys and gals for that matter, have not only for our great country, but for the men and women serving now. I was hugged a 100+ times as Faith was petted and loved on by so many cheerful and happy faces. Faith even got to meet up with a little K9 friend named Little Bit who lives at the center full time. We saw a furry-angel or two as well, more therapy dogs! Faith enjoyed a couple of cookies and danced a bit for everyone. She was a bit more vocal today than usual - maybe it was her way of saying thank you, and maybe it was because were in Oklahoma Sooner territory, just a mile from the campus where the GREAT OU Sooners live and breathe all day! Thanks again Regina for calling us out - and for giving Faith the KEY TO THE CITY! Faith is now an official volunteer for the center - - she has a pictured name badge and everything! I guess I'll still have to sign in the normal way. Haha YOU gotta love our VETS!! (The Norman Transcript will have a story soon, and I'll try to link it!)

THANKSGIVING at Grandma's!
In short. we had a great Thanksgiving. We were eating and everyone was making fun of me for being a vegetarian - no turkey or ham for me - and that's when REUBEN called. I told them if they made fun of me they couldn't talk to my son! They all began to apologize immediately - - it was fun. He said that the CO brought food from the FOB (Forward Operating Base) a few miles away from where he is, and they ate well. He said they had one dinner last night just incase they didn't have the capability to bring the dinner in on Thursday, so they had 2 Thanksgiving dinners - plus pumpkin pie! Oh, the lengths these soldiers go through to pretend to be at Grandma's! They had free phone passes and everyone that had a family to call got to call and we were all very very thankful not only for his protection, but the protection he and his buddies are providing for us. If I could I would hug every soldier we have. It would take a while, but I'm up for that challenge. Come on, everyone join me. Find a soldier, a sailor, an airman, or a guard and just squeeeeezzzeee!
Hope your Thanksgiving was fun and full of family, friends, love, and Christ.

BOOMER SOONER !!!
THANK YOU SOONERS! THANK YOU BOB, THANK YOU TEAM! It was the 2nd BEST birthday present EVER. My son called me from Iraq - - that was the BEST present, but we watched the game together, and he said to tell each and every player that he wishes he could have been on that field playing with you. He was a teeny bit too small to play Defensive End in 2005 (6'2" 230) when he was eligible, so he went to the Army instead to defend in another way - - believe me, he was MADE to drive tanks in Iraq. However, he was with you in spirit, and he still holds to the fact that he has actually sacked Sam (PCO / PCN games). LOVE YOU BOYS!!! GO SOONERS.....KICK THE LIVING TAR-NATION OUT OF THOSE COWBOYS THIS WEEK! BOOMER SOONER!!!! (By the way Bob, I do believe we have a FEW BCS "STYLE" points!!)

A Fantastic 9/11 Story - You Have to Read it
A man from Norfolk , VA called a local radio station to share this on
Sept 11th, 2003, TWO YEARS AFTER THE TRAGEDIES OF 9/11/2001.
His name was Robert Matthews. These are his words:
A few weeks before Sept. 11th, my wife and I found out we were going
to have our first child. She planned a trip out to California to visit her sister.
On our way to the airport, we prayed that God would grant my wife a
safe trip and be with her. Shortly after I said 'amen,' we both heard a
loud pop and the car shook violently. We had blown out a tire.
I replaced the tire as quickly as I could, but we still missed her
flight. both very upset, we drove home.
I received a call from my father who was retired NYFD. He asked what
my wife's flight number was, but I explained that we missed the flight.
My father informed me that her flight was the one that crashed into
The southern tower. I was too shocked to speak. My father
also had more news for me; he was going to help. 'This is not
something I can't just sit by for; I have to do something.'
I was concerned for his safety, of course, but more because he had
never given his life to Christ. After a brief debate, I knew his mind
was made up. Before he got off of the phone, he said, 'take good
care of my Grandchild. Those were the last words I ever heard my
father say; he died while helping in the rescue effort.
My joy that my prayer of safety for my wife had been answered quickly
became anger. I was angry at God, at my father, and at myself. I
had gone for nearly two years blaming God for taking my father away.
My son would never know his grandfather, my father had never accepted
Christ, and I never got to say good-bye.
Then something happened. About two months ago, I was sitting at home
with my wife and my son, when there was a knock on the door. I looked
at my wife, but I could tell she wasn't expecting anyone. I opened the
door to a couple with a small child.
The man looked at me and asked if my father's name was Jake
Matthews. I told him it was. He quickly grabbed my hand and said,
'I never got the chance to meet your father, but it is an honor to meet his
son.' He explained to me that his wife had worked in the World Trade Center
and had been caught inside after the attack. She was pregnant and had
been caught under debris. He then explained that my father had been the
one to find his wife and free her. My eyes welled up with tears as I thought
of my father giving his life for people like this. He then said, 'there is
something else you need to know.' His wife then told me that as my father
worked to free her, she talked to him and led him to Christ. I began sobbing
at the news.
Now I know that when I get to Heaven, my father will be standing
beside Jesus to welcome me, and that this family would be able to
thank him themselves .
When their baby boy was born, they named him Jacob Matthew, in
honor of the man who gave his life so that a mother and baby could
live.
This story should help us to realize this: God is always in control.
We may not see the reason behind things, and may never know this
side of heaven, but God is ALWAYS in control.
Please take time to share this amazing story. You may never know
the impact it may have on someone. God doesn't call the qualified,
He qualifies the called.
Give thanks to the Lord for He is good. His love endures
forever. Psalm 136:1
Glory to God in the Highest !!!!

Ladies of Strawn, TX Coming Up to Meet Faith
We want to give out a big BOOMER SOONER welcome to several ladies from the great city of Strawn, TX (1.5 hours West of Dallas). They'll be coming up to see Faith and I tomorrow, meeting at my favorite Starbucks, and getting to know us before we venture down to the Lone Star State in April (4-5) to do a few show-and-tells for their wonderful community. They are from an organization called C.A.R.E. (Community Animal Rescue Effort) and you can help by donating to them now so they can take care of the needy dogs and cats that come their way. Strawn is a very small town out in the middle of Texas and is surrounded by other rural communities. You can imagine that animals are dropped off and found as strays running the streets freely. Please help if you can: C.A.R.E. P.O. Box 12, Strawn, TX 76475 THANK YOU!!

PEOPLE Article on Faith
Here is the link to lead you to the article written by Johnny Dodd of PEOPLE about my family and Faith. It was released in the September 22 issue with John McCain's family on the front cover. I thought it was a great article. Caity looks great - there is a secret that the world doesn't know about those pictures with Caity. When PEOPLE came out to do the shoot Caity was all upset about having to be there! She wore something a little drag and boring so she wouldn't be photographed. The photographer sent her upstairs to change her clothes! It was hilarious! The thing is - that wasn't our house!! So, Caity goes upstairs to the dressing closet of a friend of ours from church. Caity picked out a skirt that she had seen our friend Trudy wearing at church and Caity turned the skirt into a tunic! It was amazingly cute, and the bottom line is - Caity needs to go into FASHION at this point! I hope you like the article.

OK OK OK....so I didn't put on any makeup for the shoot. I can't even remember why - but you can bet I should have! Hahaha..No, Jude, it's not about you! It's about FAITH.
Here is the link to the feature, about 2 minutes of loving, talking, informing, and letting the world know once more about my little Faithy and how proud I am of her work with the military and others. This time you get to see Caity talking - a rare treat indeed! Laura and Reuben are shown as well - pretty kids, I have very pretty kids. Thanks for watching and hope you enjoy the smiling dog walking on her back legs. She loves you! Thanks CBS Newsline 9 in Oklahoma City (Aundrey Ester) and CNN. (Hi Darren!) LOL

Psychic Animal Speaker Spasoff - and Faith on His Radio Show
GET WELL Jonathan!!!
Faith's family attends the same church as Edmond middle school shooting victim Jonathan Brainard - Jonathan was shot by Caleb Parham (14) in the chest with a compound bow on Thursday following an argument after school. David Brainard (dad) attends the singles focus group with Jude Stringfellow at the Metropolitan Baptist Church. Believe me when we say EVERYONE in the class was upset, shocked, hurt, and prayerful the second we found out about the shooting. Molly Jenkins (Jonathan's mom) said he's recovering and will make it. THANK YOU Jesus! We hope Jonathan and Caleb both realize the grave significance of becoming a bit too upset - - it happens too often, and in this case could have been so much worse. Jonathan, we love you! Please come back to visit us at MBC and let us know you're doing OK. We've got your entire family on the prayer list 24/7.....Lots of hugs! Mac Sinise Turns OLD - 18
It is true - MaCanna Anthony Sinise aka Mac turns 18 November 10! WOW.... tall, gorgeous, and legal! (Well, he'll still be watched I'm sure. LOL) Happy Birthday Big Mac! Enjoy every extra bit of fun you can squeeze out of it - but don't get too crazy. You can hear Mac and his band Tinted Chain on YouTube. He's the drummer. Cool stuff.

RUMOR HAS IT - Reuben Stringfellow will run for office in 2010. (Mayor of Arcadia, OK)
It is NOT official - no one in the city of Arcadia, OK needs to worry JUST YET - but in 2010, or perhaps just before that, Reuben Stringfellow (currently Spc. Reuben Stringfellow, proudly serving in Iraq through the U.S. Army) will be making his official announcement. First we have to find out all the specs on exactly how to run for public office in the state of Oklahoma. Reuben's very excited about his possibilities. There are currently 283 people living in the city limits. Of that about 200 or so are of voting age. We'll be asking them to register if they are not registered, and to vote of course for Reuben when the time comes. He has to finish his tour of duty in Iraq, then he has to return to Alaska for a couple of months. We can establish his residence easily enough - my father and mother have lived in Arcadia since Reuben's birth, and Reuben has legally lived with them on several occasions. His plan is to buy property as soon as he can, and to begin shaking as many hands as possible. Now, if that means sitting at the roadside Route 66 landmarks such as the Big Red Barn, Pops, and/or the Washington Irving monument to his camp site - drinking beer with the boys, kissing the girls, and just being an all-around Sooner bred Good-ol-boy, well, that's what it may take. He's happy about his chances, he's wanting to do so much for the little blink-and-miss-it community, that to hear him and listen to his excitement, you'd think Arcadia was Edmond. (That statement really only works if you're a local...it's like comparing a bass to a dolphin!) LOL So there you go - Reuben Stringfellow, Mayor of Arcadia! (Hopefully) We'll work on the campaign sign designs next week - get the commercial set up, decide where to shoot, when and where it runs, and maybe start a newsletter in the community so he'll have someplace to post his picture other than the post office. Hahahaha....Oh, sometimes I just make myself laugh. Love you Boy! I mean, Mr. Mayor. (He'll have to clean up his MySpace now!)

Gotta Go Gaia!
Laura and Caity have been playing a social life game online for years! They're Gaia Experts! Both girls have been in the game since I can remember - this weekend Laura talked me into joining Gaia. Believe me, the word "Newbie" refers to me specifically. I've never been good at video games - never. I remember losing at Astroids and Pong! So, there I am in the "Barton" of the World Town that they always go to, and I can't even figure out how to move around before someone is "posing" (what I call humping) me. I look up and it's Laura saying hello, and then holding my hand and introducing me to everyone - I felt stupid. I was told by Caity not to worry about changing my clothes, my hair, or buying myself anything - she would personally take care of any "gold" I earned or won. Somehow I knew she would. It's doesn't matter if it's real life of 2nd Life...Caity takes my gold. I think that's all I'm taking from this experience; that and the fact that I still don't think God made my fingers fast enough - maybe I had them taped together too often as a gymnast growing up....it's got to be something. I suck.

Happy Birthday Peter Bloeme of Hyperflite!
Hey! Happy Birthday to Peter Bloeme of Hyperflite!! November 1 is such a great day to be born. First off you're a Scorpio, no one can call you a Jack-o-Lantern, and you aren't asked to go to Halloween/Birthday parties. You get to start a brand new month out with a big bang! (and lots of candles in your case! LOL) Hope your kids take you somewhere really special and you get far too much cake for your own good. Happy celebrations!!!

Looks Like Atlanta is the Winner!
I kinda figured it would be Atlanta - I mean there's this really cute guy I met in Chicago that lives there sure, but other than that - we have to think of the reality of it too. Hot guys aside I mean. I will be working around the country soon - speaking, teaching, training, working for a fantastic guy that does sensationally great work with large corporations in that he can literally turn their way of operating around and save them money. I'll be part of the team - hopefully - it's not in writing yet - but it's in my heart and we've talked about it. We're just waiting on the go-ahead, so I can't buy the condo just yet! (I am looking though - cute townhouse type; frame exterior, basement, sideyard) I can fly just about anywhere directly or without stops from Atlanta. I thought I could in Chicago and Dallas, but I can't. Atlanta is cheaper than Chicago and greener than Dallas - it has wonderful Southern hospitality, and I just love those accents - my guy notwithstanding, he's from NYC originally - I think he's a spy! OK - so yeah, the strange news is that I won't be taking the dogs. Faith will be staying with my dad - spoiled isn't the word for it. You can't imagine the luxury this dog will live in at Pop's place! Matrix and Rupert will stay with Caity, and Caity will do the traveling with Faith through the foundation most of the time now since Laura will be singing and usually touring. Reuben would love to help out, but for now he's holding down the fort in Iraq - literally. So, there you go - I'll have the official word in 2 weeks - and it's condo searching time! Hot times!

CHICAGO! H. H. Backer Pet Trade Show
This was the best show! We had so much fun, and from what I see on my website - we have a great amount of traffic as well. I'm not sure, but I can tell that 16,841 hits came between the time I left for Chicago and the time I got back! That's incredible. We met thousands of new friends, and saw hundreds of old friends including the dogs and trainers (Peter, Jeff, Greg & Frank) from Hyperflite, Liz (and her husband Bill) from Eagle Pack, and of course Thom, Cindy and Parker Somes from PetTech...and CHEERIO (their Chihuahua). We were excited to see the staff from the Crowne Plaza in Rosemont, but our BESTEST favorite NEW friend is Anthony Tortoriello - one of the greatest photographers I've been able to work with. He's awesome. We also met 5 of the Greatest American Dogs (but not Ron and Tillman...sadly sadly sadly our buddy was busy and couldn't make it the show!) We ran into Bill McFarlin and Star, Teresa and Leroy, Beth Joy and Bella Starlet, JD and Galaxy, and Laura and Preston! I got to babysit Preston a little during dinner - he is the best kisser, and Bella Starlet, please, she's beautiful. Star was just your typical beautiful Texas girl - very very classy, Galaxy was smart, pretty, and she loves her daddy - and Leroy was fun loving, loud, and gorgeous...and you know what, he has brown on his face. We couldn't really see that on TV, but he does and I loved that. I have to thank a couple of great women, Colette Fairchild and Patty Backer. They brought us out - and took great care of us. THANK YOU H. H. Backer!!! We seriously love you guys! See you in May at the Baltimore show...please. : )

Denver Post, ASPCA, Rover411 and Animal Radio
We're going to be in the DENVER POST tomorrow, Tuesday September 30 in the LIFESTYLE section under "Colorado Kids". Look for the coverage of Faith there. We were interviewed today by the Manhattan NY chapter of the ASPCA and will appear in their newsletter Friday. We will also be on the air with www.animalradio.com and you will have to stay tuned in to see when that will be - we do the interview (taped) tomorrow but I don't know when it will air. It will be a podcast so you can download it! This is all very very exciting, and we're going to be featured on www.Rover411.com very soon as well - so you just never know when and where Faith shows up.

New Agent - Need A Children's Book Agent _ NOW (Like yesterday really)
Kate Epstein of Boston www.epsteinliterary.com is my new agent. She's awesome, but I don't believe she handles children's books. I have a series of 6-8 about Faith that need to be published. Please (no really, PLEASE) let me know if you are an agent or if you have connections - the books would be standard big sized for kids, lots of illustrations and since I know I'm not in charge of the illustrations that's just one step they don't have to worry about! Please let me know, they'd be fun books: Faith the Dog, Faith Goes to Chicago, Faith Goes to NYC, Faith Goes to the Army, Faith's Best Friends, Faith Saves the World! You know...fun stuff for kids. I'm patiently waiting - - well, not really, just waiting! LOL

Filing the Forms on Monday September 22, 2008 for 501c3 Foundation
I'm so excited!!! I've never been a President and a Janitor at the same time. I got a lot of great advice from some wonderful people all over the U.S. about how to start up a 501c3 and I'm doing that Monday - or getting it started. Donations can be accepted now, as long as you know I'm filing and what my mission statement is.
I am setting up a 501c3 Foundation called "Faith the Dog" and the mission statement (which was borrowed by a friend in L.A.) goes like this:
"The mission of the foundation called Faith the Dog is to share the inspiring story of Faith the Dog with lower income communities and/or organizations and to support Faith's continued life needs, training, and medical needs so that she can continue to share joy and bring faith to those that she meets. We provide motivational and insipriational speaking and interactive workshops for lower income schools, organizations, churches, communities, and desire to benefit these groups to the best of our abilities."
The 501c3 papers (form 1023) will be filed Monday, September 22, 2008 - all donations and/or contributions will be recorded in a ledger and kept in a savings account under the name Jude Stringfellow (Bank of America) until such time that the Foundation is approved - wherein the Foundation's name will be "Faith the Dog". At this time all contributions can be made out to the order of Jude Stringfellow - an annual report will be filed as well as quarterly statements and monthly income revenue reported to CPA Elizabeth Camphor of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. (All donations will be recorded properly - I'm scared of Michael Laris at the Washington Post!! LOL) All contributions and/or donations will be held in a savings account until such time that they are transferred to the proper checking account under the name FAITH THE DOG, LLC
Contact for donation: faith@faiththedog.net Paypal accepted - button to come soon.
Board Member information upon request.

Jude Stringfellow in Car Accident - No Fault - Other Driver Had No Insurance
Well, it happens! Jude was driving home from church yesterday when a woman pulling out into traffic (left against traffic illegally) ran into Jude and her beloved "Steve". Steve was named after Steve Irwin, he's a 2005 Ford Focus ZX5. Together they have traveled more than 80,000 in 2 years taking Faith all over the country. Steve has never been hit before, and now he's in a world of hurt. As Jude put it "his nose is broken and all of his teeth fell out". There may be some engine damage as well. Thank God no one was injured in either car, however the woman who hit Jude (also named Judy) showed her insurance card - but after investigation it was determined that she had let lapse in April. She is an elderly woman whose husband died in July leaving her penniless - if you can help out that would be wonderful. You can contact Freeman Collison Center in Oklahoma City at (405) 942-6455 and speak to TODD. Thank you so much for your help - Jude's carries liability as she hasn't been in a car accident in 27 years - this one wasn't her fault either. If you can't help that's cool, please help us pray for the other Judy as well - she needs a lot of hope and love too. Thank you, Karen Treadwell - Publicist.

Reuben is Deploying Soon!
Baby Boy is going to the Middle East in just a few days. I guess if the V. P. Candidate can talk about her son Track Palin as being soon deployed and he's in the VERY SAME base as my son, I shouldn't catch too much flack from Reuben for having spilt the beans about it. Please keep Reuben and Track in your prayers, as well as my son's good buddy Matt Clark. He's out there today in the celebration for sending them off - probably just as excited as the rest of them. Thanks guys for your love for me, your family, your communities and your country. This is a great day to have a celebration rather than to be sorrowful - we love our troops and of course our prayers are always with you.

PEOPLE MAGAZINE - IS OUT!!!
PEOPLE Magazine IS OUT NOW. I'm getting e-mails. I want to take the time to point out my daughter LAURA (red-headed one) is actually the owner of Faith and she wasn't mentioned in the coverage with PEOPLE. We don't know why, but you should know that Laura was very very helpful in raising, training, and preparing Faith for life and all that she does. Give Laura some kudos too when you see her singing on stage some day. www.showcaseyourmusic.com/Laura (Oh yes, if you're a record label exec..call me!!)
I'm so excited. John McCain and his family are on the front cover so you'll know which issue it is. (What's up with that, he doesn't even have a two-legged dog! just kidding)
You will be treated to 3 photos of my daughter Caity (model) and Faith (dog) - you lucked out - you don't have to see my face smiling back at you! We've already heard from a few talk shows and/or bigger radio hosts. They're so pretty!! This is going to be a blast!! Thanks Johnny Dodd of PEOPLE, you're awesome!

Start me UP
Wow!!! I've been having some great fun today. I spoke with Frank, and for those of you who don't know who Frank is - he is Frank P. Shines, one of corporate America's best and most dynamic motivational speakers. We are going to be joining forces and working together as we travel about the nation speaking to Top 100 companies and a few that didn't quite make the cut - I have to say that for the benefit of my friends at several of the greatest companies in the world that happen to be smaller but quite fun. Frank and I are gearing up and writing, emailing, booking, speaking to, and just hob-knobbing if you will, with some really cool people.
Frank and I will be booking for a while, and as the dates become too tight I'll back off on my writing to corporate gurus and magistrates...I love talking to these guys. Marketing and Communications people are the best - they've seen everything, met everyone, done crazy stunts in order to get their audience. Radio stations like Clear Channel - completely bonkers!!! I love you guys. So, if you're out there and you work for a Fortune 50, a Top 100, or just have a real need to hire Frank and I do deliver not only the best inspirational message with Faith, but the best corporate needs message and a means of showing and proving the methods of how change in technology is a good thing, and it's an inevitable thing - just give me or Frank a shout! We're out there proving you can do it! YOU CAN!
I'm the comedian, the entertainer - with Faith's inspirational and amazing story of how she overcame obstacles and what the world said couldn't be done - we're in your face, but in a good way. Frank brings education, proven records, evidence of how change is always on the forefront and we need to be prepared for it. When we are, as a group, a community, a company, we can challenge each other to be better than we were and help our company and ourselves grow. It's emotional, but it's something we need to deal with.
Positive energy just busts out everywhere! I love this. This is great. Give me a list of phone numbers and I'm on my way!
Arts and Champagne
I was invited to theJRB Art At the Elms Gallery in a district known as the Paseo Art District this evening. I was invited by an artist whose work was being displayed but she herself was unavailable for this particular show. The artist is Sarah Small, and you can find her work at her website www.SarahSmall.com It really was a great event and Sarah's work in photography was bright, brilliant, out-there and just a lot of fun. The JRB had placed her work in a great room - the food room! This meant that everyone would be by to see her 3 glorious photos that were on display, and everyone would be talking about them while the munched on salmon over soft cheese with sprig on wheat crackers. Those of us with little champagne glasses bobbed in and out of rooms with our heads cocked to the side and spoke as if we knew something of art! It was fun. I had the greater advantage of having Faith with me, so no one really paid much attention to me whatsoever - I could have been rattling off the most ridiculous of statements - no one cared. Faith was the hit of the gala to be sure. Other artists included John Wolfe from our own fair state, and California artist (bronze) David Phelps - I nearly tripped over his bathing beauty as she lay at the entrance door. I mentioned to Niki that I hadn't given Phelps permission to put my nude body in bronze - yes, it was as joke - as she was absolutely stunning. When you have a chance to see the photos Sarah Small "performs" please do - and awe and gawk like the rest of us - I've already found a new friend in NYC when I visit! Can't wait to see her in person and hug the neck of a this great artist! Of course she'll want to take photos of Faithy girl - who wouldn't? Hahaha.

BIG O & DUKE on WJFK - Washington, DC Radio!
HI Guys!!!! I was just on the Big O and Duke show on Washington, DC's #1 radio station WJFK! It was a blast. I love these guys - and no, I'm not the least bit upset that "one" (who shall remain nameless) wanted to toss my Faithy baby into the RIVER last week - the people of DC spoke, and of course, she was given LIFE! Like I was telling the hosts - you have to see it to understand it sometimes, but Faith is just such a wonderful girl and her continued desire to live and have fun with everyone - well, it's not only inspiring, it's amazing. Thanks for having me on your show. I really really enjoyed it. YES, when we're in DC we'll stop by. Can't wait!

Gustav's results hit Oklahoma - Faith not sure
Over the past few weeks we've seen record heat waves followed by record flooding here in Oklahoma. Naturally we just look up at God and ask "What's on the agenda for tomorrow?" Faith has several little sweaters and shirts that people have given or made for her over the years - we pulled a few of them out yesterday and she wore a little rain jacket for a while so she could sit outside with me and enjoy the weather. Being from Oklahoma we watch the weather just as often as we watch television - sometimes it's far more entertaining. Gustav, now Hanna, and possibly Ike and Jo are on their way across the seas and making noise and trouble - please remember to pray for those in need and those who need our love and support at this time.

Johnny Dodd of PEOPLE tells me the article was once again "held" and that he doesn't know the exact release date. Please be patient, I know it's hard when you're sitting on pins and needles like I am - but it will be out soon. He's given me his word. I'll be releasing a press release as soon as I know. Thanks.

Hillary - A Farewell
Hillary - a very beautiful and beloved friend of my new literary agent has passed away. Hillary was a 15 year old Standard Poodle whose professional show name was Ch. Pinafore Parris Hill. She was retired from showing at the age of seven and given to my agent Carole Sargent to love and care for. Hillary became an unofficial mascot for Georgetown University's basketball team where Carole works full time working her own creative hoops in the Language Department. For years Hillary was belovedly called HOYA by the students, and she took her assignment as an Honorary Bulldog very seriously! Hillary leaves a legacy of love and permanent stains of joy on many hearts.

Hey!!! We want to give a big shout out to the Big O and Dukes show on Washington DC's number 1 radio station WJFK!!! We were just talked about on their show this afternoon, and when I called in to tell John that my ears were burning way over here in OKC - he agreed to call me back on Wed. of next week 1 p.m. EST and we're going to talk about my upcoming stuff - thankx to all the Washington DC'ers who gave FAITH the thumbs up on the River of Life contest. She won LIFE...thanks a 1,000,000 - they say it's rare that someone survives! Faith deserves all that and so much more. We'll see you guys next week! Have fun at 106.7 FM.

Tinker Air Force Base - Friends and Soldiers
TINKER Air Force Base in Midwest City was the place to be today!! Faith and I went to visit the friends, families, and co-workers of all the beautiful soldiers and civilians working at the base's BX. We had a great time. I will e-mail the photos to my webmaster and he can put them up. I still haven't figured out how to do that - even with his step by step instructions. Good thing I'm a speaker and not a computer geek huh? We'd all be in trouble! Faith wore her new official ACUs made for her by retired Army Sgt F/C Jason Davis of Fort Bragg! We love seeing her strut around town in her new clothes. She may be the only dog wearing actual ACUs but that's OK. She had a great time at the base and met a few hundred of Oklahoma City's finest folks. Thanks Deborah for picking us up and taking us onto the base. We'll get the right papers next time!! LOL

PEOPLE - UPDATE - Two More Weeks to Wait
OOPS...there was a story meeting at PEOPLE and the story was pushed back 2 weeks. I don't know if that means September 1 or 8. I'll keep you posted. It gives them more time to think about what to write about - and the producer told me he now has a bit more room to cover a few more things! This is good news. Faith and I both want to acknowledge and thank Johnny Dodd of PEOPLE for his commitment to the story and to Faith. You're a great friend! So, please keep watching the site for more information - - of course, you can always, always, always, just keep buying every issue of PEOPLE until you see Faith - they'd probably appreciate that! SMILE. (The pretty girl with Faith in the photo is Sasha Gill of Salon Rebel. She did our hair and makeup for the shoot!)

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE 2008 USA TEAM
Our teams are awesome! I have to give out a real loud SHOUT OUT to Jon Horton from OU - Men's gymnastics superstar in my eyes. Anyone from OKLAHOMA is always on the top of my list. I'm going to do a Google search and find a few more Oklahomans, but really - let me hug and squeeze every single US Olympic Team member! You guys ROCK. GO TEAM USA....Go WORLD. I'm telling you, the boy is all over the state - and soon, maybe tomorrow, he'll be all over Arkansas too! He has so many friends and people to love on before he takes off for the Middle East. I hope you all pray for him, and just hug the man if you see him. I have some more photos, and I'm trying to upload them. I'll have to ask my webmaster to help. Thanks for your prayers and love!

Not Associated with Lt. Dan Band
Hey Everyone!
I wanted to make something really clear OK...Faith is not, repeat NOT associated with Gary Sinise or the Lt. Dan Band. Those of you who write and ask if we're going on USO tours together are sooo sweet, but no, we're not working together. It would be fantastic, as the band is wonderful - and Gary is the best, but no - - thanks for your love and support of Faith, and I'm sure the LDB would love your continued support too. You're awesome for thinking of us! Thanks.

Community Service For Caity! (5 hours of it)
We all know kids that go to apartment complexes after hours and swim right? Well, Caity and her friends got caught! What happened next was uncalled for, and because of the actions of the security guard there's a judge in OKC laughing - and a couple of young ladies doing hard-labor...5 hours. It was the least amount possible under the law.
The judge found the entire affair without merit since the girls provided names addresses and phone numbers of their friends who lived in the complex that the security officer refused to allow to accompany due to the pool hours. However, in the leases of each of their friends NO HOURS are listed, and there is no general rule posted for that particular pool. The girls were detained without their outer clothing for over an hour while the police were delayed in taking them to the correctional center. The judge was laughing at Caity since she had seen her two previous times for being with someone who committed a crime, and she said "You know, you need to find better friends." To which Caity said "Actually your Honor, I have fantastic friends, they're just really stupid."
The girls got 5 hours of community service and the judge teased them about having to sing the Star Spangled Banner at the next townhall meeting. I think they'd do it!

CBS Screwed the Pooch! (Tillman & Ron)
Episode 4 of the Greatest American Dog (Ha!) is in my opinion the LAST episode of the show. You can't expect the audience for next week's show to be kind to you CBS, not after literally throwing out the TALENT and the ONE team that carried the show! Bill and Star are great, but Ron had the remarks that people listened for. Like tonight when he asked Brandy how she even got through the doors of the show, it was priceless. Those remarks are not written for him,his down-to-earth surfer-boy talk is real - that is RON. That's what made the show watchable, and Tillman's good looks, come on! You messed up CBS! You messed up.

BLITZ - or Rupert
Caity just HAD to turn 18 on Friday, so I let her. Then, because she had lost her precious Cookie puppy to the hands of an evil man who will not be named because I don't want to be a part of his demise should I report him publicly - I took the initative while she was gone for her birthday celebration to San Antonio to kiss the whales, to get her a new puppy. I named him Blitz, but she's going to call him Rupert. Here's the catch - I FELL IN LOVE. I may not give her the dog afterall. She wanted a dapple grey and black with tan female Dachshund, but I found Blitz today. He's red dapple and long haired. I'll post pictures. She may just have to share him, or I told her when his new baby siblings are born in 6 weeks (actually they're cousins) then I could wait another 6-8 weeks and get her one of those...I love this guy. I can't give him away! He already knows the command for "sit". He's destined for the agility courses and I know he'll be the scene stealer for a few home videos. Sorry Faith, you've got some real competition. He may have all of his legs, but he's still pretty cute! We have a FACEBOOK account too for Faith, and I'll add Blitz's pictures. Caity said she's going to call him Rupert - but that may only be for a while - afterall, I'm expecting her to move out and I won't let her take my dog! (I'm sort of feeling badly about it, but not that much)

My First NEW Post in over a MONTH!
Hey EVERYONE...and I mean that. Did you know that more than 1000 of you view this site every day, and it's been upward of over 3,000 for a while so THANKS to you for being so very patient. My fantastic Webmaster Matt Layne of Timeline is doing such a great job. I know there have been things to overlook and overcome, but he's the best at this sort of thing. I'm just a writer. So, how are you guys? I'm not traveling as much with Faith this summer, we had several gigs fall off due to the rising gas prices both for cars and planes. It makes me sad when we can't come out and see you guys - we have to cancel quite a few things if I'm footing the bill - you know "fame and fortune" are not always friends. Faith is very popular, but me...well, I may have to start selling poetry on the street corners soon! Maybe someone out there in Faith-Land will pick her up for a show or something and make ME happy as well. Every now and then things happen that I have to report. I'm using my blogs more and more, two of them are linked on the left of this page, so you can keep up with me daily (almost daily) life. Reuben is coming home. WAIT, LET ME SHOUT THAT OUT REALLY LOUDLY - REUBEN IS COMING HOME!!! He'll be coming to OKC on August 3, and will be staying a couple of weeks plus a few days. He's already got three parties to attend, football practices to help out at, OU scrimmages to attend, and you know the boy will find some time to hang out with his friends and sisters. I can't keep him in my arms the entire time. He'll be leaving OKC and going to Iraq for a year - that's the hard facts, but we're not worried. God watchs my baby boy always. He is fully in control of every step and every adventure.
Laura is in Stillwater (no, not going to OSU, but she will in the Spring) She's singing and may move back in with me the second Caity moves out. I have a revolving door it seems. Caity is not working, but looking for work. She's writing, and thinking of owning a book/coffee store just as soon as I am lucky enough to win the lottery. She has always had plans for my money. Love that one. Caity and Laura are both very excited about their brother coming home, and even more excited about possibly recording this next month. I know Laura is planning on putting up a few videos on YouTube as soon as she gets the songs down. At least two in English and one in Japanese. Caity may join her or do something solo - we'll have to see.
Faith and I are on Facebook now too. I'll have Matt add a link. Faith doesn't have a personal page where she (me or the girls) talk to you, or add you as a friend, but there are some fans out there that made her several organized pages - wow...I joined one. I'm using Facebook to keep up with other authors, writers, friends, and family - I like it better than MySpace. Listen, I have to run. The best I can do is blog - and you can write, and we'll write back. If you're really interested in bringing Faith out to your event, please call Mike Maguire. He's the money man. I just tend to give things away - I'm too nice at times, but then there are those OTHER times....hahahaa...Mike is at (571) 215-1147 Thanks again for being so very very patient with the new site. Don't you love the look?

YOUTUBE - New Video of Faith Walking in Laurel Canyon Park in Jan. 2008
We were filming with the Nichiki Group out of Japan for the very popular show DASH. It was a great opportunity for Laura to mingle with some really great people from Japan as she is planning on taking a trip soon to try and land a singing label in that country. Laura sings in Japanese and English. Someone very kind shot this footage and posted it. We thank you for mentioning the website and the books for sale on Amazon. Just Google my name - Jude Stringfellow. You can look at the video on YouTube by searching for "Faith the Dog" or "Faith the Dog in Laurel Canyon Park" Thanks so much!!

THANKS to everyone who is writing to me
I have been getting really nice e-mails from all over the world about Faith and her love for others. Her strength, empowerment, all of it we credit to Jesus - but we realize that not everyone is of the same or similar belief. That is what is so great about her name being FAITH it is able to transcent every religious barrier. We love you each, and we love you all - thank you for your kind words.

Opinion Blog
You may be interested in reading the Opinion Blog today. I got a little hot when I was asked to show Faith off on a television show that had NO intention of mentioning her strengths. They just wanted a puppet to walk around their stage. That set me off. Go to the left side of this page and click on the link to the opinion blog to see what I'm fired up about.

Spokane Pet Fest - AWESOME!
We are at the PetCo booth (#35) in the Spokane Fairgrounds - look for the signs. We're doing shows at 12:30 and 3:30 I believe tomorrow, as we did today. We had a great crowd come out today, lots of dogs, lots of love. The weiner dogs raced today! I think it may be a Chihuahua racing day tomorrow. Don't quote me. I know this: There will be lots of things to see and lots of dogs to sniff around. The Spokane Humane Society is adopting several animals - except Simba, he's a cat that ran up a tree at the Air Force Base today during their pet show, and I'm not sure Simba is coming down! Good looking firefighters came out to help though - the rumors are true! A big SPECIAL Thanks to the Humane Society and all those responsible for picking me up (Vern) and driving me around. Thanks to Judy and Barbara at the Fairchild for helping me get to the base! Thanks for the Starbucks!! Love you guys, and I got another medal/coin today from Judy Loper - this time from the USAF Survivor School. She said Faith deserved it! Thank you. A big hello to "Barbara from Spokane" who simply loves Faith with all of her heart. Faith is wearing her little purple tag that Barbara brought for her today. (Thanks PetCo for all your help too: Lea, Judy, Jessica, and Emily!)

Ft. Lewis, Seattle and Fairchild Air Force Base, Spokane
Faith and I are visiting the Army and the Air Force this weekend. We've been seen at Ft. Lewis, where Faith totally ignored her good friend Pat McGhee until he came to the PX and treated her with snacks - - then she became his best friend again. Guess who was at Ft. Lewis? That's RIGHT SSgt Laura Bigenho-Levering with her new husband SSgt Marcus Levering! We were sooo surprised to see them, they met and fell in love in Iraq. They were married in Feb. We have to give Bernie Stork of Scott AFB (St. Louis) a bad time because Bernie got a kiss from Faith, but Faith got a gold coin from Pat! Hahaha...we'll have to pick up another one when we're in St. Louis! We visited Fairchild with Judy Loper the Store Manager, and they have a new Commander! We met Col. Filion and SHE gave Faith another gold coin! YES! Faith has 5 now!!! Awesome! Faith perked up and barked at every single man not wearing a uniform at Fairchild -reminding them that REAL service men wear Green! (OK, or blue, or black, or white, or dusty brown) We'll go back tomorrow morning for a 9-11 pet show and then off to the Pet Fest Pet Show hosted by PetCo and the Spokane Humane Society! Can't wait to do that one. I'll blog all about and show off pictures if I can get the webmaster to fix the photo gallery! C'mon Matt, what do you think? (LOL)

Books about Faith - for a Donation to Operation Iraqi Children
I now have the address for OIC: If you want a book (without the ISBN registration, however all rights are reserved) I will then be sending you ELECTRONIC copies of one, two or three of the books I've written and have self published. Now, here's how it will work. If you send $10 you can pick either book about Faith. There are really two books, one is more about her, the other is more about our family situation before we got Faith and how she helped us become a family. If you want both - simply donate $20.00 to OIC. If you wanted all three books, which would include a poetry book that I wrote (including 5 poems from Reuben) which has NOTHING to do with Faith, it would be sent to you with a donation of $25.00 along with the other two books. The Address for OIC is: OIC, 911 Main Street, Suite 2110, Kansas City, MO. 64105 Be thinking about it. If you're interested send me your e-mail address by e-mailing me at: jude.stringfellow@gmail.com so I can start the list of 100. It Worked For Oprah
Hey, back in 2006 I asked everyone who clicked onto this site to write to Oprah to get Faith on the show. I'd love to ask for YOUR help getting her onto both America's Top Dog and Greatest American Dog. Both shows are with CBS-TV. Faith has been on CBS before with Animal Planet, so she has a few friends there. Can I get you guys to write to them and ask that she be put on these shows for the fall season? Go to www.cbs.com and go to the very very bottom of the page. There is a TINY little feedback button you can click on and then add your request. THANK YOU so much. I don't believe I'm the only one in the U.S. that thinks Faith is deserving of this...she's awesome! Love to you. You don't have to be from America to ask either - the shows will be airing in other countreis too. Thanks again.

Daryn Kagan - Take Two!
We just did the Daryn Kagan show again! It was great. I was a bit nervous because Faith kept moving around, but I think it went well. Faith didn't want to come out from under the bed for the interview so I had to pull her out using a bribe of gummy bears. She just wasn't interested in the peanut butter today. She came out from under the bed and we talked for a while - as soon as I put her down she was back under the bed. I took video to send to Daryn, it was so cute. Anyway - I'm not sure when the show will air. I will post that when I do know. I was able to tell Daryn all about the products we're working on and the great companies we're working with. We get to add another one too. All-U, and you can find it at www.allu.com We're doing dog-sweaters and t-shirts for Sgt. Faith, and maybe a coffee mug to make you smile at the office! Again, part of the proceeds from anything we do with anyone will be donated in Faith's honor to a great charity such as the Disabled American Veterans and/or American Cancer Society. Remember to watch Daryn. I'll put her link up on this post.

WOWWWWW
Huge news. I just got back from Baltimore, MD where I attended the H.H. Backer Pet Trade Show. It was sooooo cool, better than I expected. Though there were glitches and dings in the attendance due to the Preakness and the Orioles being in town, we had a really good time. I met some of the most fantastic people that I hadn't met at the Chicago show in October; and I met people that I loved and left in Chicago last fall who were just as beautiful and happy as they were the last time I hugged their necks. Faith will be featured on a few new products for your pets, and the really cool thing is that a portion of the proceeds will be donated to a division of the Disabled American Veterans, as well as to a cancer research program - something like Breast Cancer Awareness, or perhaps (my idea) a way to start a foundation so that women who can't afford mammograms can get one at a reduced price. That's the hope anyway. I can't go into the products at this time, but two of the producers are: Annie's Pooch Pops (www.anniespoochpops.com) and Wacky Walk'r (www.wackywalkr.com). I won't hold back my excitement - I called my contact at the Army today to see if we can get these products in the PX/BX markets around the globe and my guy said "We'll talk about it - I don't know just yet, but we'll do what we can, it sounds really great." That's so cool. I'm stoked. (OK, saying I'm stoked puts me at about the age I am, but I'm old, so forgive me.) YEA!! When we know more I'll blog more. Love ya.

Update on Traveling
We just got back from the NYC area, we were actually doing a show/gig in NJ just over the bridge. It was sooooo cool too. It was for the Willowtree Counseling Center where we met up with Dan Davis (speaker), Karl Anthony (singer), Sandy Queen (ASL speaker and comedian) and the people who brought us out - Sue Nobleman and Charlie (B) Bernam (I'll check the spelling and see that I got his name correct). We met over a 100 great kids and got to sing, dance, talk, eat, and play a day - it was too much fun, so I'm going back in November for the 4 day conference! Look up Willowtree and learn something really good about life. Thursday we go to Baltimore for the H.H. Backer Spring 2008 Show and it is going to be a blast!! Can't wait to see the 4000 booths, the trade masters, the products, and all the new things coming out for the pets in our lives. Faith is a good will ambassador for the show! She'll be with me in the Special Events booth - please come by and see us if you can. May 28-June 1 we'll be in Spokane, WA for another great expo, and we should have fun. Write and let me know if we can come see you too.

Attention Baltimore Schools and Businesses
If you are a superintendent, principal, teacher, board member or parent at a school or if you run or operate a business (CFO, CEO, etc) in or near the Baltimore, MD area I have a proposal for you. It is ONLY good for the dates of May 13 and 14th. I will be in NJ May 11 and 12. I will be in Batimore for the H.H. Backer Pet Trade Expo May 15-18, but we have NOTHING planned for the 13th and/or the 14th. I have been promised a few hours at Walter Reed on the 14th, but can't seem to be able to get there. HOWEVER, if you have a show, visit, or performance that you would like to host - it could happen. We are fully willing and able to come to you and do an hour show and/or performance for a company or school, church, or media - if you have something else in mind let my agent know so we can see if that would benefit the two of us. It would be at NO CHARGE professionally, but I would have to ask that you bring me (and Faith) from the NJ area to Baltimore, and keep us in a nice hotel (like a Holiday Inn Express). So, the daily fee would be negated completely if you agreed to be the person(s) to bring us out from the NJ area to Baltimore. Otherwise I will be flying back to Oklahoma City and then back out a day or so later. It would make so much more sense to stay out on the East Coast. Let me know if you can help - Faith (I know, because she tells me these things) would prefer to stay out rather than flying back and forth. We may ask that we be allowed to sell photographs of Faith for donation purposes - this year the donations are going to Operation Iraqi Children. Thanks so much! Mike can be reached at (571) 215-1147

Hello Hong Kong and Taiwan!!
I was on the late night chat radio program today with host Keith Perron. It will air 4/23. He'll give me the call numbers for the radio program and I'll be sure to give a big shout out to you all in Hong Kong and neighboring Taiwan. I was telling Keith that Faith is at least 1/2 Chinese because her mother is a Chow-Chow. She was a big, black, hairy dog and looks nothing like Faith, but Faith does have a spotted purple and pink tongue! We really enjoyed the interview. Keith teased me off the air and asked if Faith could bark for the listeners. I could have pinched her I suppose, but we let her just listen to us talking as if we were having our morning coffee. Thanks Keith for your love of animals (and for rescuing Ginger). She is a very pretty girl indeed. Remember if you want to buy one of my books it is cheaper to go through the publisher. I still need a publisher in China to translate the books in to Chinese - so anyone who is interested can write to me. Also, if anyone is interested in submitting a movie proposal please do. We would love to have Faith in movies or commericals - it would do so much in terms of helping others understand that having a disability doesn't have to stop someone from achieving every set goal in life! Don't worry about looking perfect, just do the dance! I've added a link to my publisher if you're interested in ordering a book - and they are available on Amazon too. Titles: With a Little Faith (2nd Ed.) and Faith Alone: Stories of an Amazing Dog. Thanks.

International News
We were interviewed this week by a newspaper in Chile, another in Argentina, and we will be interviewed tomorrow for a group in China. I'm doing a chat with them. I'll give you details as they come in. Another Chinese media group contacted me too. We'll be in a kids magazine soon. Faith is just very very popular overseas right now. I know it has to be that smile....and probably the fact that she walks upright, LOL.

Miami, DC, Baltimore, NJ, Turkey (again) Columbus, and Spokane All in May
This may is giong to be VERY busy for Faith and I. Looks like we'll be going to Miami to do a show with the great Latio network company Univision. We'll fly to Jersey to visit a community college, truck over to DC to see the soldiers at Walter Reed again, meet a thousand people at the memorials and monuments...then to Baltimore to do a really really big trade show for pet products. After the 18th we fly to Columbus to do a pick up show that we missed due to weather - another elementary school. Love that! Then on the 29th we're in Spokane! Wow...oh, I forgot Turkey. We'll be rescheduling for the Turkish trip around the 7th...Happy Birthday to Laura. Most kids don't get a Middle Eastern flight and TV show for their 19th. She went on tour last year when she turned 18 with Ozzfest. She's got spunk. When I have more photos I'll upload them.

Coincidence? I Think NOT
Oh, St. Louis felt it! Gary Sinise and I were in the same place at the same time, and WHAM...earthquake! There were even a few aftershocks as well, trimmers as the ground moved beneath our feet Friday morning. Gary was in town to do a show at Ft. Leonard Wood just outside of St. Louis, and I was at Scott Air Force Base as well as other shows in the surrounding areas. I'm telling you - God Himself has spoken about the two of us ... Nostradamus must be laughing at this very minute. Sinise needs to take this warning to heart - he showed up at the Starbucks I was at and talked to Beverly the Barista I met on Wednesday just two days prior. He showed up at the USO after I did and hugged my lady Marlene! He can't be stalking me like this...word will get out and people will talk! LOL (Actually I think the earthquake had more to do with the underground coal mines and the New Maverick fault, something about it feels eerie and unpredictable. I do hope the people of Missouri aren't hoping to bank on this and begin selling ocean side property.) I do wish to give a big shout out to the USO at Lambert, to the men and women we teased, hugged, kissed, and photographed while Faith was in town. You guys rock. We loved the attention, Faith loved the nap with her good looking PFC. Even if it wasn't her Reuben, he was someones baby boy. Hooah! Gary, we'll always have St. Louis...let the thunder roll, the lightning strike! (Big Smile)

Scott Air Force Base - Thursday 4/17/08
OHHHHH the joy, the sheer joy of seeing men (OK women too) in uniforms! Faith and I were asked to show up at the greatest places while we visited St. Louis and surrounding cities like Collinsville and Belleville. We went to our 415th Starbucks. We went to St.Johns UCC, we talked at two humane societies and schools, and nursing homes, day cares. We went to Scott Air Force Base and kissed on soldiers. That's the best part. We even got free lunch at the BX. Bernie Stork, the GM of the BX (or PX, I'm never sure) wants me to blog the fact that Faith kissed him immediately! Sorry Pat McGhee of Lewis. It happened. Linda (manager) also got a kiss, but the best moment was Elaine! We loved Elaine's hugs and kisses. She was so moved by Faith, and that's why Faith goes in the first place. To bring great smiles and love. For all the hard work the Air Force did to keep them out, we still saw 4 or 5 Army guys, and even 2 Marines walking around the AFB. You just can't keep good people out when they want in! Love you guys! Thanks so much for your service and your work. WE DO appreciate it. We're coming back.

Hey St. Louis! (and surrounding areas)
We are in Belleville, Collinsville, and St.Louis for the next two days - Friday finds us in Dexter, MO. Basically we are here for a few school shows, humane society fund raisers, church meetings, autograph signings and just a lot of really good times with some of the Heartland's BEST. Thursday morning we will be on FOX Station KTVI-TV as well as local stations; both radio and tv. We were just interviewed for the St. Louis Post and will be interviewed tomorrow by a bunch of rowdy kids at the Belle Vally North Elementary and Belleville West High School. (What does a Maroon do exactly?) We're going to St.John's United Church of Christ so we can talk in Faith Hall with Faith.- Dexter on Friday - WOW...whirlwind tour of the GREATER city of St. Louis. Thanks to Mary Humphrey for ALL of her heart felt work and hard working networking self. We're able to see so many wonderful people due to her countless hours of setting up meetings and productions. She's a born marketer! Thanks to Paul at Kelly's Limos. He picks us up and takes us places - great service! I'll blog more when I come home - hindsight and all that. Thanks again for bringing us out.

Fourth Book Finished - Goes to Publisher in Week
My fourth book, this one a BLOG book, goes to the self publishing company Xlibris next week. I will have a completed author's copy soon, and can make adjustments accordingly. I'm sure I'll find some mistakes, but correcting the blogs along the way may have saved me a month or so of editing. I'll be reading it carefully for editing, but not really worried about perfect grammar. When we speak we don't always use precise grammar, and therefore when I write to the audience of the internet blogging world I'm not really hung up on it - only when I'm teaching. So, the fourth book comes out in October 2008 and is titled : Jude's Almost Daily Blog. It will be book 1 of about 4 or 5 probably. I'll produce them every 4 months or so, and by Christmas 2009 I should have 4 blog books out for the world to laugh at. I hope you laugh. My desire is to please each of you all at the same time - wow, what a goal! Thanks for the love. If you want to see the blog go to: www.zimbio.com/jude+stringfellow+comedy and yes, I've provided a lovely link at the bottom of this entry for you! I think I'll dedicate the book to Gary Sinise because he's just been such a good sport about all the silly fantasizing that I do. Such a nice man. *grins*

Hi Mike, Hi Jim, Thanks guys for having me on the show this morning - it was great. Probably one of the best interviews I've had in a very long time. You guys are definitely cool. I'll be sure to hang out with you if we do the RV thing with Steve Harris and Steve Puckett later in the year. Can't wait to bring the Boomer Sooner to the Lone Star State!

We'll be discussing plans for screenplays and/or scripts soon, so we need a real publicist. Please give us any help or assistance you can. Please e-mail me if you can. Thanks.

Mancow Show! This Morning
Hi Guys! We were just on the Mancow Show, a very popular syndicated radio talk show that radiates out of our favorite town of Chicago. (Sometimes Chicago is tied with NYC, but you know). The talk show host said he didn't know if he should be laughing at Faith or not. Hey - she's a great dog with broad shoulders, you can laugh with her, you can even think she's funny looking - it is...but remember to smile OK. She's suppose to make you happy -- that's her job! Faith's story is so powerful we would love to see it adapted into a screenplay so if you know anyone please have them contact me. Thanks so much for calling us and having us on the show this morning.

Grand Rapids, MI and the Pet Expo at the DeltaPlex
Hey we just finished the Pet Expo at the DeltaPlex in Grand Rapids, and I have to tell you Dev W. puts on one HECK of a show! WZZM Channel 13, and CBS-TV-3 interviewed me. I am soooo sorry for not remembering all the people's names, but shout outs to: TJ & Dev, Kristen E., Angie (Sales) at WOOD Radio, Rick and SCOTTTTTTT of the Rick and Scott show, Carter Gent of Channel 3, Shasha at 13, and the girls at the cookie/biscuit booth who came over and saved Faith and I from the crazy woman! AND a great big thanks to DUKES for the burger. Thanks guys. Oh and Dev, really - don't worry about all the gun-fire, the near physical attack, and the fact that I walked out of a restaurant with Kristen and forgot to pay - - all will work out just fine! LOL I'll be shipping Caity to GR soon to live with Dev to become her new prodigy - kisses to everyone, and here's the BIGGEST shout out to WOOD Radio and B-93.7 All new country and great all-time hits...thanks for re-routing me to the Amway! That hotel ROCKS. Love to you guys, call me for next year. It's for sure I won't be booked for the Super Pet Expo - not doing that one again! EVER. Thanks.

Early Show - Friday Morning
Looks like we're going to be on the Early Show Friday. We may still be on Good Morning America. I will update you as soon as I know. I do have a special place in my heart for NYC so this is really cool. I hope to be on Glenn Beck, Letterman, and Regis & Kelly too if anyone out there knows a contact. Oh, and I really really really need a publisher for my new books as well as the books I've already written. No, seriously! I need a big fat publishing house that will do the children's books, the bio, and the movie would be really nice too. Thanks so much, and I'll see you on set!!

On the Air
Looks like we're taking the show to the road again. This weekend we will be in Grand Rapids, MI to do a couple of livestock expos...should be a blast. I'm told that Faith will also be flown from Grand Rapids to NYC on Sunday night to do a few morning/evening shows on Monday. I'll post more details as they are made available. don't want to let the cat out just yet - Faith might end up chasing it. Thanks for the love in all of the national papers and international papers. I did an interview today with Germany's Der Spiegel magazine, and looks like we're doing another with a paper in the Netherlands tomorrow and one from Sydney - cool stuff! Love to everyone who read the articles that began in the Washington Post on Sautrday, March 29.

Ultimate Air Dogs at the Expo
Hey - big time shout out to Milt Wilcox and his Ultimate Air Dogs. Milt was certainly our hero, and to beat the band - we understand he had a great weekend at the expo showing off his three beautiful dogs as they jumped through the air making a big splash for all to see. If you get the chance to see Milt and his dogs soon please do so, he's the nicest man...and get this, he's from OKLAHOMA! I never knew that until this week. My aunt was his English teacher! Small world! Thanks again Milt, and we'll see you again.

Washington DC and Forward
We had the best of times in DC. Faith was a great success at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center - we have to shout out to all the soldiers we met and to all the BRAVE and BRILLIANT warriors we met who were going through PT and OT at the center! YOU GUYS ROCK! Because of privacy laws we can't and won't post photos that we took at the hospital, but let me tell you - the guys were amazing!! Faith loved them, they loved Faith, and we're going back when we can. Thanks Harvey and Reyes for the tour! Thanks Tanya for the set up, and let Rick S. know I gave you his e-mail address. We may go to NYC this week to do a few TV shows following our front page story in the Washington Post. I have to give a shout out to Ms. Carol Guzy our personal photographer, and to Mr. Michael Laris, the meanest-nicest reporter I've encountered! Thanks for the drill Mike, I learned something.

Faith to be seen in DC
Hopefully everyone will get to see Faith in DC this weekend. We'll be there 3 days - we're doing a show or two, going to the memorials and the monuments and just hanging out at Walter Reed Army Medical Center with the WARRIORS!! Should you see us, shout out Boomer Sooner. I'm obligated by birth to talk to you if you do!

March 25-29 Washington DC
We are going to Washington DC to do a few things this week with Faith. I think Laura will be recording most of the week and will miss out on all the fun. Caity is staying home to work - hahaha, but I'm going to the bases, and I'm doing a bit of site seeing. Faith will be hugging and kissing on soldiers and we're hoping to finally get into Walter Reed and Bethesda. We've been running into some clearance issues in the past, or just timing issues. I want to go hug soldiers!! I think Faith was made for this. Besides promoting books and showing off Faith's strut - we're hoping to go to a couple of schools and hospitals in the area too...and, my manager promised me a baseball game. I'm more of a football fan, but I'll go and have the best of times. Besides, Faith gets to go out to the mound and say hello to the pitcher! Can't wait.

Happy Birthday Baby Boy!!! March 22, and he is 22.
Baby Boy (Reuben) turns 22 on the 22nd...that's today. Exactly 22 years ago from this very moment I remember being awake and thinking that today would be a good day to have a baby because it was the 22nd, and I was born on the 22nd...although it was another month. My father was born on April 22, my best friend on June 22, and the 22nd is just an all around great day - it's the double of 2, and the number 2 represents building, but doubled for 22. THERE YOU GO...my little baby is all grown up. Standing at over 6'1" (I personally think he's 10 feet tall) he came into the world at 21 inches (almost 22) and weighing less than 7 pounds. Today he is around 185. I remember waking up to the sharp and terrorizing pain of labor at 6:36 a.m. and there he was just six hours later - all Reuben like...long and skinny, just as bald as he is today, and smiling...always smiling. On his 3rd birthday, just 19 years ago -- the boy asked me for a tank. He didn't want a Tonka truck. He didn't want the fire truck, he didn't want a pony - he wanted a tank. I bought it for him. Look where that led. Today he's driving Strykers (tank type vehicles) in the U.S. Army. What an incredible boy he was, and what an incredible man he is today. Proud you say? Oh, you don't know the start of it. Happy 22nd Reu. I love you more than you'll ever figure out. Forever, you are my heart!

Happy Birthday To Mr. Gary Sinise
Hello to my good friend! LOL I hope you won your own golf tournament today out there in Indian Wells, CA. I do believe you deserve the best in the world - therefore, you will have it. I tell people (and myself) you will get EXACTLY what you think you will. That statement seems to bother those who are pessimistic - you sir, are an optimist, an idealist, a bit of a dreamer, and certainly a creative soul. You will be blessed, and I do thank God for His presence in your smile. Happy Birthday Gary Alan. See you in May at Joe's. Until then - Godspeed and lots of hugs.

Sally Kern's Blunder
Yes, I called it a blunder. We all make them - none of us are lucky enough to always say the right thing. Some day we will all get caught rather on tape, on video, some one will hear us stating our heart-felt opinion and WHAM - some one else will strongly disagree with us. If that some one has ties to politics, media, entertainment - our sins (in this case opening our mouths and hurting people) will find us out. Kern's statements were hurtful - even if she strongly believes them. As a born again Christian I too feel that Christ called us to be whole and pure, and that the homosexual lifestyle is not acceptable to God...but hello...neither is any other sin that we ALL continue to do on a daily. I sin, I know I do every single day. I don't want to, but we do. I can't say what Kern said was even helpful to her point. It was just hurtful - - so before anyone thinks that all Oklahomans are rude and ugly or that we don't accept people for who they are; know this: God asked us NOT to judge, and to let HIM be the one to do so. We are called to love and to guide others to His mercy. I taught at the same high school as Kern in 2004. She was an incredible teacher, a deep deep well of information and knowledge. She was very active - some say too active, in the politics of the school. What I remember mainly is her stand against gay students forming an alliance or a club. That fact led me to stand up for these students even though I'm not gay personally. I just don't like seeing anyone get stomped on by someone with authority. Subsequently that led the vice principal of the school to think I was gay - she asked me out, I turned her down (but I was nice about it) and I was released of my duties. Of course I was released for something else officially - but I remember Kern saying to me "Good for you, you held your ground" or something like that...there was no stand to make. I wasn't gay. I just sort of rubbed me the wrong way I guess. I don't want to see her bumped from the House. She's a good person - - maybe a trip to anger management or a course of tolerance would be good. I can't believe she made the statement about Islam either...that's not the Kern I remember. We all change.

No Turkish TV at this time
We were unable to board the plane this morning due to circumstances beyond our control. We're hoping to reschedule the shoot with the Turkish TV crew for sometime either in April or later in the summer, perhaps in June. Laura will probably end up going as I have so many things happening with my books after March 28. So...exciting, but sad, and hopeful at the same time. Thanks to Mike Maguire, my agent for his dedicated service and work in this matter. Love ya.

Books Being Translated into Other Languages
My books are being picked up by various publishers around the world and this is a very exciting time to say the least. I know I would like the opportunity to re-write "With A Little Faith", and I feel that I will be able to do that. I would like to take out some of the more overtly religious statements and make them more spiritual, more feeling than statements of specific faith. I was quite emotional when I first wrote the book. "Faith Alone" is being translated first into Japanese - then I'll be talking with publishers for the French, German, Spanish, Russian, and believe it or not, the Swedish language. I can't wait, this is really very cool....maybe, just MAYBE Harper Collins, Putnam, Penguin, or someone in America will take notice and publish my books in the mainstream. What do you think? YES? OK...I'm up for that. Just call me. No, seriously, do call! LOL

Looking forward to Valentines
What do you get a dog that has everything? I'll try to keep it simple. She loves peanut butter, she loves gummi bears, but since we'll be in Penn. this week I'm going to see if she would like to chase a few squirrels and attend a wedding of a friend. Should be fun.

Istanbul, Turkey - Probably April
We will be going to Istanbul, Turkey sometime in the Spring, probably in April. My manager has to get his passport and Faith has to get a couple of shots and a little x-ray to be sure she's OK....this is going to be so exciting. We're looking for a base we can hang out in too while we're there. Since we'll be leaving through Dallas we can stop by the USO there, and in Heathrow I'm told there is another....should be a camoflaged trip to say the least! Yes!

Opie and Anthony Show
Hey, Faith and Laura were just on the famed Opie and Anthony show this morning talking about having a great time in NYC. I hope they get a lot of the listeners to view the site and have a good time reading and looking at the pictures. Faith has been featured on a number of radio websites. Just Google the girl.

Vince Vaughn's New Movie Comes Out Feb. 8. Is Faith in it? We don't know
We have been trying to reach the people behind the Vince Vaughn's Wild West Comedy Tour to see if the segment about Faith has been taken out, but no one has answered our calls. Sabastian Maniscalco, a low-brow comedian at best, was filmed making fun of Faith and in our opinion being so rude as to be disrespectful to every injured military personnel ever to serve our country. Faith is a Sgt in the Army, she deserves to be respected. Her work with the military does not extend this man an invitation to berate her, make faces about her manner of walking, nor does he have any right whatsoever to hide behind the First Amendment (doesn't cover what he did in our opinion) and we will go after them if they left it in the film. We will. So, keep an eye out for more information - I can't be in NYC this Friday to talk, but Faith will be there. Laura may not be as nice as I am about it either. She's a kid...but she's smart enough to know to say "Call our attorney". Lots of love, and thanks for your support for Faith in this one. I hope they just got smart and took it out.

Our schedule is really filling up for the winter. Hope NO ONE gets disappointed with what the ground hog said...a few more weeks won't hurt us. We're going to NY, PA, MI, IL, and TX within the next two weeks. Looks like MO, KS, OK, TX, IL, and maybe even Turkey the following two. Gotta love American Airlines! Thanks for all the help.

Animal Wellness Magazine! Feb and March Issue 2008
Hey, Faith is on the front cover of Animal Wellness Magazine this issue. You can pick up your copy at PetCo and/or PetSmart I think, and/or order it online from www.animalwellnessmagazine.com She is just so pretty! We had asked a great photographer from Oklahoma City to take pictures but it looks like they went with a few on my site. Thanks to Randy Poff anyway, because he came out and shot 50-60 shots for me! We're sooooo happy to be in the magazine, and on the cover to boot! Thank you. We're looking forward to the responses we get from the coverage. You guys rock! Nichiki TV and Faith January 16-19
We're flying to Los Angeles - hopefully we'll have time to talk t the great friends who write to us and say they'll be smiling when they see us. We're hoping to grab a local TV and/or radio spot to make sure the city knows we're in town. We're going to be shooting a TV special for Nichiki TV in Japan. It will be aired in Japan as well, but feel free to write to the producers and ask for a DVD if they sell them. I have no idea. www.nichiki.com.jp is their address I believe. Laura is excited, she'll be singing for one of the producers there - in Japanese. My daughter sings both in English and Japanese, and will be showering the great producers with love and smiles as well as good music. She fell in love with them when they came to visit us in December. Looking forward to a great shoot, and more fun to come in the winter with expos and shows all around the world.

New Years Eve 2007
Tonight marks the 1st year of the passing of a very good friend, and I told him just an hour before he died that I believed he was doing this on purpose so we'd all celebrate his life every single year! I was correct. He laughed and said "You bet your @ss" I am. He was that way....so to Will Orr - SALUTE! Also, this evening I will be without Faith as she has been invited by a couple of puppies she knows to do a few dog-fun things at a private dog party. She'll be drinking water, I was sure of that, but she's getting a few homemade goodies and playing with some really cute mutts. I will be dancing it at the casino/dinner party that will be too much fun, so all day I've been exercising to burn more than 1000 calories so I can have a little fun myself. I simply can't let this 30 pounds in 90 days take a break. Some of the more (well, one of the more) beautiful people of the world will be singing and dancing, playing the bass in Bakersfield, CA - - another SALUTE to you dear Sir, and know that you are loved and prayed for. Godspeed to you, we'll talk later to compare notes. Enjoy the world tonight friends, and kiss the one you love!

New Friends
I just met a wonderful woman on MySpace named Glenda. She lives in Chicago, and we're becoming fast and close friends from all of the experiences the two of us share. It's amazing how many things two separate women from two separate cities can share! I love her already. She's finding me more work with Faith in my FAVORITE new city. I love NYC, but I have to say, Chicago is edging in, it may become #1 soon. I simply love the place - and now Glenda is there too! Thanks girl. I love you bunches. I also met Wally Cox from my own state. He's a writer, a songwriter, a poet, and he's helping Laura with her career. I'm telling you, MySpace has some really cool people on it. I would encourage every one of you to check it out. Go look at my friends too, they're gorgeous.

HAPPY 5TH BIRTHDAY TO FAITH 12/22
Tomorrow will be Faith's 5th birthday. We had hoped to celebrate it at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, but things didn't work out for us because of weather when we were going to be returning from Spain - not to mention we couldn't logistically get Faith to Spain in the manner in which she flies. We will not put her in Cargo ever again. So, tomorrow!! We'll be having cake and ice cream, celebrating with friends and family - and then tomorrow evening we'll watch Animal Planet and see our little girl in action. Just five years ago this little girl was born, and she has been making a barking statement ever since. Thanks for all the happy birthday cards and presents. We always welcome gifts, but to be honest, we have to donate so many of them to dogs who don't have good homes and families. I hope you don't mind. All of your cards and letters are kept forever and ever in her file cabinet, which is becoming very full after five years of love from the world communities. Thanks again, and may your Christmas season be blessed!!

ANIMAL PLANET - 9:00 EST Set Your TiVo
Please be sure and catch Faith on the Best of 2007 show for Animal Planet. Check your local listing for the time. I'm told it will be 9:00 p.m. EST, but there are other dates and times it will be airing too, just keep checking. We filmed Faith outside the apartment complex, and it was fun. We love the people of CBS-TV, so here's a shout out to Scott Day (Producer) and all the wonderful people at the NYC office! We love you!!! Thanks again. Hopefully we'll see the show over and over again.

Fun in Vegas! Photos Uploaded -Animal Planet THIS SATURDAY: 9 p.m. EST
We got back from Vegas on Monday, and the fun hasn't stopped. On Tuesday we met with a great group from Japan to do an animal show there. Wednesday we found out that Animal Planet (Best of 2007) shows this Saturday, December 22, and it will be at 9:00 EST - set your TiVo. It should be fun. We had a great time filming that segment. Vegas was everything we expected and more. I have loaded photos from the one day event, but sadly the ones of me with the Spanish team are blurry - I will try to download stills from their DVD when they send it.We filmed at Casesars and around the strip itself. We saw the Bellagio fountain show and filmed there as well. It was fun. When I get the correct name of the show, and the name of the host (I want to spell it correctly) I will upload that information too. You may be able to see the show if you're near the country of Spain! I believe it aired today, December 20, but it may be shown in re-runs too. Fun stuff!

Vegas is in, Spain is out, and Walter Reed is pushed to March
Wow, what a day! In just a little day we found out that we can't go to Spain because of traveling problems with Faith flying in the cabin as she enters and exits Spain. We have had weather issues so she can't be in the cargo because they won't load her if it's colder than 40 and it will be less than 40 in Oklahoma - so, we're doing something better. We're going to Vegas! The only problem now is that we have to reschedule Walter Reed and possibly Bethesda Hospitals for the spring, we're shooting for March. I hope so, I hope so, I hope so. I can't wait to hug soldiers!! But, I think there will be a few of the on the Strip, so we'll be OK. Faith is going to have such a great time. We're staying at a 5-Star Dog Friendly Four Seasons on the Strip, so if you see us filming a beautiful television spot for Gest Music of Spain, come by and say hello! Welcome our new friends from overseas. My good friend Niki is coming too, she's been such an awesome friend, I really hope the trip can be a great and relaxing time for her! Thanks for your support and prayers during the ice storm here in Oklahoma, it was brutal!

Honest Rons Guitars
Hey, Faith and I are going to Spain and while we're away our good (new) friend Ron Lira is going to be working on our two guitars. We named them Stella and Janet, and they'll become fast acquaintances soon. Ron's good work does not come without the love of a dog - Dobro works with him. You can see them at Ron's website which is listed below. Get a guitar, sing, play, have fun! Thanks Ron.

SPAIN!!! Looks like we're going to Spain, and then to Walter Reed hopefully
We are going to leave for Spain probably on the 18-19 of this month, and we'll be doing a couple of news-type shows there, and determining if the coffee in Spain is as good as the coffee in Edmond! We'll also be stopping by Walter Reed and Betheda hospitals on the way back, probably around the 21-22 or so, and I could not be more excited...Faith of course, will fly up front. She's not nearly as excited about the trip as I am, but she doesn't realize how important it is to the beautiful people of Spain to see her smiling face, her wagging tail, and her strengths of overcoming everything in her way. Thanks for the prayers and good thoughts. I will keep you updated. (Matrix will be home with Laura - Caity's excited, she'll be alone for 4 days..scary)

Reuben is on Notice
I can't tell you when and I can't tell you where, but for the next few weeks my son is on 2 hour's notice. That means he is packed, his unit is packed, his vehicles are ready to be loaded, and they are on their way to defend you and me. Recalling the words of my son last night he said "Mom, I wanted to call you and tell you that I love you. I don't know if my cell reachs as far as I'm going, and even if it does, I just don't tell you enough. I love you." Those are the words of a man who has been told that he'll be leaving and that he needs to call his family to say so. I know you'll all be in prayer for all of our Armed Forces now, and throughout the holiday, but not just thinking of them now and then. NEVER forget to remember them. Always remember to love them. Hooah Soldier! I love you too Baby Boy!

Sometimes Less is More (By Jim Deel for Linda Lattin)
Jim wrote this poem for Linda who he loves. Linda's website is dedicated to others like herself who have been brain injured. Linda's new book is out, and I encourage you to buy a copy. Her unique humor and perspective will warm your soul. Thanks for sharing your love with us guys! I wish that I could change the viewer on this site so you could see the poem the way it should be seen. I have added it to my ZIMBIO blog so you can see it there. --------------------------------- So many times while deep in thought "I wish that I had more." Things that other people had or things I'd seen in stores. If only I had fame and fortune, all eyes would be on me, and they wouldn't notice the limp I had, or my insecurity. Then one day I saw a dog sitting up as though to beg With a closer look I noticed she only had hind legs. A happier dog I've never seen, as she hopped and jumped around: yet each time someone petted her, it pushed her to the ground. So happy, and excited, and oblivious to her plight; It taught me it's how you feel and think that makes everything alright My eyes are now wide open, like the eagle when it soars but now I see what he can not see, that "Sometimes less is more." ----------------- Poem by Jim Deel Copyright 2007. Total Pet and Pet Elite
Faith will appear in these magazines at the end of the year. We were interviewed this week for them. I don' t know their URL addresses, but will add them when I do. I met the people at Total Pet at the H.H. Backer Pet Show, they were so kind to ask us to do an interview - their magazine is new I believe, and to be a part of it is very exciting. Faith should have a very long and information section in the middle. I hope it turns out to be as gorgeous as the samples I saw at the show! These trade shows are amazing places to meet great animal lovers! Thanks to everyone who has assisted us in getting Faith's story and message to as many as we can.

Cover Story!
Faith has her FIRST EVER cover! She's appearing on the COVER of the Feb/Mar issue of Animal Wellness, and we couldn't be more proud. She'll be featured in a "Holiday" or "Outside" theme, we don't know which, we took several pictures for it. She's promoting her sporty than sporty Dubin Dog collar and her super cool Invisible Health blanket - which by the way is so freakin' cool - get you one. Faith's story will be a bit of the same: the beginning of how we found her, welcomed her, trained her, etc., but there is more. The writer asked me several questions regarding our charities, our passions, what we have planned in the future! I love that. It gives me a forum to tell the world that Faith is moving on, forward, and yes, we're available - I want her image, her personality, her courage, and her story to perpetuate into the future. Her legacy, if you will, can be her continued (and genuine) love for life. It's all about that! It really is. She can't be stopped. She loves to travel, to meet people, to see things, to fly, and she loves to be in the spot light! What a DIVA. Love my dog.

Reuben is HOME for the Holidays
I have been so busy with the boy, and with family matters - trying to get to Walter Reed, that I forgot to blog and tell you that Reuben came home! He surprised me at church Sunday, and we've been surprising friends and family ever since. He only has a couple of weeks to stay. He'll go back to Alaska December 1. We will have to try to go to WRAMC sometime in Decmeber, but I'm also going to Spain with Faith too. Her first overseas trip! She'll be so wonderful. Thanks to all who wrote to Glenn Beck, keep the cards and e-mails going. Maybe we can do this for Christmas. We really really want to go!

I WANT TO GO TO WALTER REED WITH FAITH
Help me get to Walter Reed. Please write to Glenn Beck and see if he can help us. His e-mail address is: me@glennbeck.com When you write to Glenn you'll receive an e-mail from a spamarrest company making sure you are indeed a person, not a spammer. Please return the link and do the verification. Please ask Glenn to help us. He's a great man - Faith is a great dog who needs to be at the hospital to see the soldiers when they return from battle. This is what she was made for! Please, I know it's asking a bit, but please - We happily fly American, and they'll probably fly us for free to Walter Reed's Washington DC area if they are asked enough. Faith has a mission, let's get her there! Thanks....thanks so much.

Reuben's Movie
The movie Reuben was an extra in (circa 2005) has been renamed. It was featured at the Canadian Film Festival I think, or the Montreal Film Festival. It was called Wisteria, but is now being called The Grey Man. The GREY Man is right. This man is strange beyond belief...not Reuben, Albert Fish, the man this movie is about. ODD doesn't say enough. Google the man.....freak out for yourselves. Reuben played the part of the "Handsome Young Cop" and I hope he gets billed as such. What am I saying, I hope he gets billed! He opens doors, chases bad guys, searchs the premises, and he carries a chest across a barn or something. Nothing too hard - just fun for the boy, but he is the best looking cop in the show. You know that. Of course, he was only a baby, 19 when he filmed it. Now he's all grown up, in the Army - stronger, leaner, not with the good looking baby-face, but the handsome rugged look. They'll have to have him do it again, for a sequel - The Not So Grey Man. I wonder when the movie will be released.

Debra Opri is my new attorney for the comedian problem
Hi eveyrone. I know it's been a long time in coming, but we have a brilliant, wonderful, beautiful, talented, and oh-so-very dogmatic attorney to handle the comedian situation. In fact, she's already been working hard, and may have a resolution. Debra Opri is my new attorney, and she's soooo awesome. We're hoping for a fast and painless end to the situation - - but the writer's strike is putting us on hold for now. We can wait! Debra is the best of the best you know. We'll be JUST fine with her in our corner.

INVISBLE HEALTH PET BLANKET
Hi Everyone! Faith and I are now the exclusive pet endorsers for a wonderful company called Invisible Health, Inc. We hope our involvement with them will cause the sales to BUST loose with all sorts of attention because the product is so amazing. You know me, I don't support everything that comes down the pike. When I signed up with Dublin Dog collars it was because Dublin Dog had a great line of products that were unique, clean, safe, and perfect for Faith. Same thing goes with Invisible Health, Inc. You can check them out at www.invisiblehealth.net and I'll put that link at the bottom of this news piece so you can find it. I met Dave Petersen of Invisible Health Inc. at the H.H. Backer Pet Trade Show this month and he was not only impressed with Faith, her abilities to walk, entertain, inspire, and be happy as she can be - he made us a great offer to join his company in a way that I was surprised and thankful for. He wants us to be part owners! That means I can do whatever I want to with my shares, and you know me - I'll probably end up giving some away to kids, some to animals, some more to OIC, and well - I think I'll live off of some of it too, because I want to learn more about being a real business owner, and that includes being responsible. It will also give me an opportunity to sit at home and write out a movie that tells how Faith has encouraged so many to do so many things. This is a great dream I have, and Invisible Health is making that dream come true. The blanket I am promoting specifically can be seen at the site. Faith loves hers of course, but you can't just take our word (woofs) for it. It works. It makes her feeeeeeel good, it helps her health and her well being - we have ours under the bed, one in the car, and we take one with us when we fly - always! If you get the chance, take a look - it's a new idea, but you'll thank yourself for being so thoughtful when you get one for your dog. I'll even throw in this bit: It has the NASA seal of approval! Gotta love that!

Working Working Working - and Playing a Little Too
The tapping, the praying, and the believing in all possibilities is working! I began praying that EVERY DAY someone would call my manager Mike Maguire and offer him work for us. It's been happening. EVERY DAY without fail, even on Sunday of last week. This has been a miracle, and it's been welcomed from the fiasco of earlier this year. Perhaps 2008 will be a banner year with movies, commercials, speaking engagements, and my personal favorite: Visiting the kids and the soldiers - don't ask me to pick which of those two is my FAVORITE of favorites. I love the kids, but I love the troops too. Most of them are just like older kids to me anyway. So, if you're not into the tapping yet, get there! It has been a source of great comfort for us. I'd love to teach you how to do that! Faith just goes along for the ride - which as you know, is NOW always up front in the cabin with American Airlines. If we fly another carrier that may change, but we'll try to fly American EVERY TIME - they're such great people to us. (Hi Tracy! Hi Lou! Hi Roger! Dallas, O'Hare, and of course, OKC's WRWA)

Reuben May Get His Orders for Overseas Soon
Cant' tell you when, can't tell you where - but it may happen soon. He is on a 24-48 hour notice. I suppose I will get the call when it happens. He'll be smiling of course, I'm going to be on my knees praying, but I believe he will be the best of the best of the best out there. He did qualify last week to be trained as an Army Ranger - near future event. So, the boy is upward and mobile bound. Just keep him in your thoughts and prayers. We thought he was going to be utilized for the fires in So. Cal, but it didn't work out that way - he's still freezing in the new snow up in Alaska for a little while. I'm hoping he'll be home for the holidays, but I will be happy to hug and squeeze him just any day he returns. Good hopes and love to my son PFC Reuben (Ruby) Stringfellow, Ranger to be.....Hooah!

Faith in the MOVIES
Yes, it will be happening. Finally. I have to say finally because we've been hoping and praying and now it's coming to fruition. I called my fantastic manager today (Mike Maguire of Maguire Management) and he answered the phone "We've got a movie deal!" He won't share many details, he's prudent that way, but he's going to L.A. to discuss all the nuances, and it should be fun. I hope she's the best pet in the movie, and I hope she's the prettiest star on the red carpet when that time comes. I'm sure she will be. I don't think she'll be wearing Vera Wang, but she will be sporting a new Dublin Dog collar I'm sure! Thanks Jesus! Thanks Mike too!

American Loses Faith a Second Time
Actually, to be perfectly fair, American didn't "LOSE" Faith, they didn't put her on my flight. She was flying CARGO, which again we're going to have to talk to AA about - as it seems to be a problem remembering to put the barking luggage on the correct plane - but we'll work it out. The O'Hare American Airlines and the Oklahoma City, as well as Tulsa American workers worked together to get Faith back to me. There was weather, so she was rerouted, it took another 8 hours, but you know - we are going to rectify this problem immediately. We just can't go around misplacing U.S. Army SGTs, it just needs to stop! Faith was happy though, tired and exhausted, but happy. Two very very kind workers from Chicago's O'Hare American staff (Virginia and Lynn) flew from Chicago to Tulsa, rented a car at midnight and drove 2 hours to Oklahoma City to deliver my dog! What service! That's over and above, and I thank them, and I thank Paula D. in OKC for her help too. But, it doesn't excuse the fact that it happened, so we'll be talking to Roger at the Dallas PR/Corporate office about a solution. We love American, we want to continue, but like I said - she needs to be put on MY plane from now on. Thanks guys! You were great in a crisis!

Can't Take This Dog Anywhere! (LOL)
Faith was kicked out of Gibson's Steakhouse in Rosemont (Chicago) Thursday night after she caused a disturbance. Well, I guess she does that. She was wearing her vest, we even explained to the overwhelmed manager Grace that she was a U.S. Army SGT and had every right to be in the resturant. You really can't blame us if the crowd goes wild, and if they get out of their seats to take pictures, shake our hand, ask for business cards (it was a convention!) and you can't blame Faith for being so well loved. Gibson's is the type of place that normally thrives on celebrity, but I suppose Grace's idea of celebrity may vary from that of the hundreds of upset guests when we were asked to leave. I'm told it made the news, I'm told it was blogged about - I know a professional ball player left with his party when we left, as did several people standing in line waiting to get in. Well, the next day we were showered with flowers and asked to return. (Go figure!) We'll go back - but not immediately, Faith may be forgiving, but my feelings were a bit touched. I'll be OK...I bounce. On the FLIP side of that - Maria's Mexican Restaurant and Giordano's in Rosemont welcomed Faith with open arms and steak pieces! It was an incredible weekend with the H.H. Backer pet and trade show....to be honest - I've always known I would love Chicago. I just didn't know how much! The Crown Plaza was awesome, the Off the Park Restaurant (Manager Abberheim and waitstaffer Jose) were so sweet, so kind to us. Thank you!

NEWS FLASH! DOGS BITE...JUST SO YOU KNOW
Caity was playing around with Laura's new puppy (Laura officially gave Faith over to me after Ozzfest, something about her being too much like a toddler for her liking.) Faith's new friend is Sayuki, a 3 month old black male Chihuahua that (like all Chihuahuas) thinks he's bigger and tougher than most other 3 pound monsters! Caity's face too the brunt of the force, and she got 7 stitches Monday night. See details at: www.zimbio.com/jude+stringfellow+comedy, but you should be aware that NO MATTER what the breed, the size, the age, or the demeanor of a dog, it is a dog! It has teeth! Faith too, so you should be careful when approaching and/or playing with dogs - go easy! Caity has all of her shots so Sayuki need not worry.

Going to CHICAGO !! H.H. Backer Pet Expo next weekend
Here is a link to the H.H. Backer Pet Expo that Faith and I will be attending as spokesperson/dog for the great new upstart company Dublin Dog. You should be so lucky to have your own dog wearing a Dublin Dog collar - they're awesome, and they don't wear out or get smelly. Try to come and out and see us if you're in the area! Chicago is sooo much fun. Only NYC beats it for me, and that's saying something because I love to travel, and I love Seattle, Panama City, Jacksonville, Atlanta, Miami, Dallas, oh, I love Portland.....but Chicago! Oh yeah! For more information about Dublin Dog you can go to their website: www.dublindog.com

What a Difference ONE Year Makes.
One year ago today. Just 365 days ago - I was standing with my baby boy in a room where he would soon be swearing his allegiance to the United States of America. He would be taking the oath required for him to join the military. Just one day before that I was actually paying $1508.00 in traffic tickets and violations, warrants, and other actions so that my boy could make that date with Uncle Sam, but I digress. One year ago my son dedicated his life, knowledge, skills, and willingness to be trained for you, for me, for the U.S., and interestingly for Israel. He actually told me that he was going to join the Army so that he could defend Israel when the time came to do so. My son is my hero. He weighed 230 pounds that day. He's hovering around 190 now. He was 6'3" that day. Today on paper my son is 5'11" so that he can fit inside the tank he's suppose to be driving. He is in Alaska, has broken his arm playing ball for his barracks, he's learned to kill in a dozen ways, and he's typing better than he's ever typed before due to the fact that his hand is cast and he must think about what he's doing. The Army's training program is odd, I admit, but effective. One year ago I weighed 205 pounds myself. Today I am at 155. I was 5'7" and I am still 5'7", and I have NO intention of driving any military vehicles whatsoever. But I would like to go to Alaska once. I celebrate a boy today, a man really, but always my boy. REUBEN...my hero! Hooah! ONE DOWN - Two and one/fourth to go.

Retirement Housing Foundation!
I was sitting in the Orlando International Airport (sometimes that's a scary thing i.e.: When American Airlines lost my puppy). While I was sitting in the airport I happened to me a very interesting man. I met the president of the Retirement Housing Foundation located in Long Beach, CA. He was on his way to Puerto Rico, and we struck up a conversation about Faith of course, and about the children who were dancing around Faith and laughing with her as she darted in and out of the aisles meeting and greeting anyone who happened to have a smathering of food to share with her. Dr. Laverne Joseph is the man I met, and I have to tell you, he's incredibly knowledged, poised, and provided so many interesting questions regarding Faith, her mission, and her message. The reason I'm just now getting around to telling you about Dr. Joseph is because he has published an article about Faith and I in his newsletter "The Vintage", in the Summer/Fall 2007 issue. He was so sweet to ask if he could, and of course I had no problem with it. He even mentioned my books and where they could be purchased. I just wanted to thank Dr. Joseph, and to say that the newsletter was so inspiring after reading about all the volunteers who gave of their time, money, efforts, prayers, and love to a project known as H.A.N.D.S. It stands for: Helping Angels National Donated Support. A large number of volunteers all over the country and world are involved in giving back to their communities through quiltig, needlework, handiwork, crafs, and just loving the elderly. Please, take a minute to look up the website for the RHF. I've linked it to this news ad. Thanks to everyone at the RHF for your kind work and love. The website for the newsletter is: http://rhf.org/RHFCMS/uploadedFiles/Press/2007%20Summer%20Fall%20Vintage(1).pdf

VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR EVERYONE
Google has the ability to find just about anyone from their telephone number. Go to www.google.com and put your own phone number in the locator box. It may (probably) pop up your name, address, and a map to your home. You can then click your number and REMOVE your name from their list. It takes up to 48 hours to be removed. I am told over 80,000,000 numbers are in the data base. My number was not as I use a cell phone - but my P.O. Box was linked - which is OK with me. You may not want the world to know where you live, or where your kid lives! Just looking out for you guys! Thanks to Lenny of PetLane Products in San Fran for telling me.

Sorry for the inconvenience it may have caused yesterday (9/12) when the server was down. I didn't realize it until someone e-mailed me to say it was. I spoke with Matt Layne the webmaster, and he immediately fixed the problem. He's great like that. If you need a website master or creator, just contact Matt at: mlayne@tlcx.com and you will have the best!!! Thanks Matt.

Seoul Korea's SBS
This morning I was interviewed on my cell phone by another Korean radio station. It was awesome! I was asked some of the same questions that other stations and television hosts have asked. I love answering the questions because it tells me that many thousands if not millions of people are actually interested in Faith's health and well being. Love seems to transmit through the radio! I love that. Faith, by the way, was seen by Dr. Boatsman of Neel Vet Hospital in Oklahoma City yesterday. She'll be getting her shots and microchip on Tuesday! Dr. Boatsman gave her a very very clean bill of health and stated on camera that she was in great condition. He mentioned what we knew, that she was amazing and wonderful! Thanks Dr. B. Thanks to Lee of the SBS radio program too. I hope to hear from him about translating my books into the Korean language.

Germany and Korea Filming this week
Actually, this week and next week. Today was so coooool. Mike Remmert of The ARD-TV in Germany (he's from California) came to film us for the show. He said it is a news type show that has celebrity, animal, and health news too. I guess it would be like Fox meets TMZ or something. Fun times! Faith was being microchipped so she could go to Europe, and things didn't go all that well - but she'll be chipped soon. She stressed - so we stopped the process. She'll have another go at it next week, and have a dose of meds that will help her be more relaxed. (HOWEVER, I saw the needle. I would need 2 or 3 doses if it were me!) The South Korean SBS program that will be calling me tomorrow is more or less like a daily news and entertainment show. I'll do a little voice clip for them, and later in the year we'll do a video to follow up. Or it may be two different shows, I'm not sure. The attention has been wonderful. I hope I remember my international manners. I don't want to offend anyone!

Booking: September is Full
Booking now for October and November. September is nearly completely full. There may be some space available at the end of the month. Please contact me or Mike Maguire (email: sportsagent82@yahoo.com) if you are interested in booking me and/or Faith for your conference, luncheon, or motivational speaking engagement. I will be joining a national speaking association in November. My fees may be subject to change. If I book you now and the contract is signed, that contract will be honored. I will consider booking through June 30, 2008 with the current rates if you book your date before November 1, and if the deposit is paid in advance of November 1. Thank you for your consideration. Because I may be holding a weekly gig in Las Vegas in the future, I must detour from booking weekend venues past November 1, 2007.

Major Headline Comedian May Be Added to Suit
Another comedian, this time a major name, may have to be sued if we file the suit against Maniscalco. I won't give out his name now, it would be both inappropriate and unethical to do so. Please pray that he is understanding and will cooperate. He, as I know from his reputation, is a good man. He is a patriotic man, but he has allowed the defamation to be produced about Faith. It is believed that he OWNS the production company furthering the character slander of both myself and Faith. Again, we hope we can get this resolved, but it looks like it may end up on the nightly news due to the subject matter. Faith is a U.S. SGT and I simply will not allow this comedian, or these two, to defame her, her mission, her work, my work, or the Army - in any way.

Laura is BACK from Ozzfest!
Well, it didn't last the summer like we thought, but Laura is happy to have been a part fo the Bros. Grim Side Show with Faith for 8 shows - it was fun for her, and fun for Faith as well. They both fell in love with the show, the performers, the crowds, the energy - and to be perfectly honest, I'm glad they're home. There were issues that weren't in the best interest for either, and the management of the tour and the Bros. Grim Side Show were very understanding. I don't think a girl can get a better world-education than to hang out with the likes of Zamora the Torture King, William Darke (illusionist, flame-thrower), Jack Ringca, the 2005 National Yo-Yo champion, and Stitchy the human tattooed and pierced beauty queen! There were so many others that meant the world to her, and to Faith as well. Crystal Lockhart (aka Firefly) was Faith's height, and they really got along, as well as Jackie, a gymnast, and martial arts performer who just happens to have physical limitations. She's incredible. The point is, they're back - they're learned, they're tired, but they're so grateful to everyone for their love. Oh, and Laura fell in like with someone too. (Lukas!!) Gotta love those Canadian men.

Laura Stringfellow Still In LOVE with Rupert Michael Grint!
Yes, yes, it is true. The years have passed and the children have grown up, but that doesn't change one thing - Laura's undying love for Rupert Grint, the kid who plays Ronald Weasley in the Harry Potter movies! Laura has told me recently that he's as hot as ever, she's looking forward to meeting him soon in London when we go there with Faith, and here's something: She said he'd BETTER start thinking about falling in love with her too, or in the words of Michael Buble "someone else may say the right thing!". You've been forewarned Mr. Grint! You can see and hear Laura sing online at: www.showcaseyourmusic.com/Laura That way you'll know who to look out for when the media buzz starts in London - Faith and Laura are currently on Ozzfest, and having the time of their lives!

Sebastian Maniscalco Attacked Faith's Message and Her Physical Appearance
There is a man calling himself a comedian (Sebastian Maniscalco) who has publically humiliated me, my family, my work and effort, and my precious dog Faith. You can see his YouTube clip if you feel like seeing what he calls funny - the audience laughed, so it begs the question - WHY? His idea of humor is my idea of ridicule and slander. Yes, we are taking action - the legal kind, and I hope he understands that making fun of disabled pets is not acceptable - EVER - let alone one that is an ambassador of good will, not to mention she's a U.S. Army Sgt, commissioned out of Ft. Lewis in 2006 - her MOS is to "Make People Happy". His portrayal of her on the Vince Vaughn's Wild West Comedy Show (Tour and possibly movie) was that of a frightening, scary, beastly creature that was hard or unpleasant to see - It's terrible that this is happening - but it must be dealt with professionally as Faith's message and her reputation have been defamed and slandered. He is responsible for this action. Thank you to all of the devoted fans and friends who have written to me, and to Sebastian saying they believe he was wrong to do this in such an ugly and unfunny way. Faith is currently touring with Ozzfest as a part of the Bros. Grim Side Show to show the world that you can be a little different and be OK. For this guy to make this mistake so publicly was irresponsible at best. Love to you all - and again, thank you for the support that is simply pouring into us.

OOPS - The Bus Left Faith and Laura in Donald, WA
Laura, because she's a silly little girl, left the tour bus when it stopped to refuel this morning - but forgot to tell ANYONE that she was leaving. She was left behind as a result. The girl at least had the wherewithall to call me and tell me that she was stranded, that she didn't have her cell, that she didn't have the dog leash, that she didn't have Faith's therapy vest - so she wasn't allowed inside to make a phone call - she was using the outside phone at the truckstop. She wasn't all that scared at the time, but after 10-15 minutes in the dark - well, let's just say she kept me on the phone until I could use my landline to call the manager on the bus and have them turn around to pick them both up. Faith, for her part, was OK. Just unhappy about having to stay close to Laura and not being allowed to chase a cat that was running around the truck stop! All is well that ends well - thanks to Jesus! (and yes, she promised to NEVER let that happen again.) Thanks Lucas and G for putting in the time to pick her up!

Faith is ON the bus!
The Ozzfest tour bus came by to pick Faith and Laura up. She and Faith are special guests of the Brothers Grim Side Show for a couple of months. You can read a little about it on the blog at: www.zimbio.com/Jude+Stringfellow+comedy That way you'll be able to keep up with the tour and the fun they're having. She promised to call me daily, two or three times so we can do an update. She's going to have a blast! 55 days, 25 cities, 19 states.....with Faith in tow! It should be the ride of a lifetime for that little girl. She's 18, all grown up! Caity is having fun too these days writing and getting ready for college. Reuben's still in the Army, still in Alaska, still having fun - looking forward to coming home at Christmas. We all are looking forward to seeing him again too. We go to Spain and other countries in September, more on that when it comes open!

Tyndale said no - but People! may help us out!
Tyndale Pubilshing said they would pass on my books at this time - that hurt. I was actually counting on them to publish at least With a Little Faith, and Faith Alone because they called me - they asked if they could possibly publish me, and then dropped me when I said I wanted to keep the books separate rather than making them into one book. My thought is that the second book is for kids actually. It's a way that anyone really, but mainly kids, can read about Faith and her training and her adventures without having the drama of the first book - which by the way, is not about Faith really. It never was - hence the 2nd book. Anyway, Tyndale said no, but then today PEOPLE magazine called - I told the reporter that I needed a publisher, and he said that he would ask his editor if he could print that fact! That would be great! (Are you listening Harper? Are you out there Simon? I need a pubilsher!!! I have 3 books now, and have 1 to be pubished immediately that isn't already with an ISBN - it would be great if someone wanted all 12 of my ideas for new books!) Write to caroltraver@tyndale.com and tell her you want my books published! Please, and thank you.

Caity's New Adventure
Caity hasn't been talked about much on this site, but she's venturing into the writing business like her mom. I have decided to produce her first novel for her. She writes a bit like a young Joan Collins, perhaps a tiny Danielle Steele. She's into teen love, a bit of sexy-sweet teen giggleness - but it should prove to be both interesting and marketable. Teens do more thinking about sensuality than any of us I think. Why not write a book about a dreamer who does exactly that! She did! She's excited about the project and once it's ready to be submitted to the printer, we'll market it full blast. Way to go Caity!

Laura's SWAY released
This is not for profit, but it is downloadable. Here's the link Laura's Showcase Laura is also getting ready to head out for her adventures with Ozzfest and the Bros. Grim Side Show. She and Faith are special guests of the side show this summer, and will continue their stint in the fall from October to November - but they will be stationed on the Santa Monica Pier. Laura will be singing, and Faith will be demonstrating to all who will see her that you can be different and yet perfect!!

Army Life
Well, the boy is having a great time in Alaska - he says he's playing football, getting to tackle his SGT every now and then - that's got to be great! He's been in the field, seen moose, black bear, caribou and huge eagles, but he's yet to see a Kodiak. I hope for his sake, if he does, he'll be in the tank - or at least far enough away to make it to safety if he needs to take off. According to Reuben his group of guys won't be going "OVER THERE" for a while - maybe a year. He claims he'd rather be in Iraq than Alaska over the winter, perhaps basking in the 30 degree weather as opposed to the negative 30 degrees weather they get in his area. Keep your prayers going! He needs them!

Love for Lindsay!
The world seems to be teeming with the energy of misplaced glee - literally laughing and gossiping about the most recent "fall" of another "star". They can't get enough of the tabloids, the pictures, the stories about Lindsay being caught driving while intoxicated, or worse - with substances. They say it's news. I say it's a sad day when the public looks forward to a young woman's mistakes being made so public. NO ONE would laugh, jeer, take photos or run to tell someone else if the person they saw hurting was their own daughter, or their own sister - why use the opportunity to hurt Lindsay? Is that truly entertainment? Rather than hate, rather than mockery, rather than "I told you so", can we simply bow our heads for her, even for a minute? Can you just ask God to direct and guide her - 30 seconds? Would you FIRST need to ask forgiveness for your own sins? Maybe those could be splashed across the internet, the television, the newspapers, the world - would I be interested in all of your boo-boos? No. In a word - NO. Maybe you don't love her, but our family actually cares for Lindsay - we do. We love you girl, if no one else is praying for you - you are prayed over - you are cared for, and I sincerely, hope and I actively pray, that you'll find the peace and the healing you need. If WE can help, if Faith can help you, please don't hesitate to call. 24/7/365

Laura's version of the song SWAY
SWAY (the song) will be downloaded today onto the website as well as my MySpace. It is a great song. It's been recorded by the Pussy Cat Dolls, as well as Michael Buble - and now it has been recorded (with the PCD in the background) by my daughter Laura. It has not, and will not be released for profit until it has been recorded properly, and with permission from everyone necessary. However, you can hear for yourself how very very talented Laura is, and if you have any great ties to the music industry (hint hint) you can contract her! She's available. She'll be traveling this summer with Ozzfest, not singing actually - but you can get her into your studio to record as soon as September 10. This is really really a great song and no one sings it with as much passion as my little girl - OK, I'm biased, but you'll like it. I promise. Laura Ashleigh Stringfellow - YOU ROCK!

Ozzfest 2007 - Brothers Grim Side Show
HEY - Faith has been invited (thank you Bryce Graves of Brown Gravy Entertainment in Dallas) to be a part of the Brothers Grim Side Show which will be attached to the Ozzfest 2007! This is one of the BIGGEST and most exciting tours known - and will be so much fun - for Faith and Laura. I'm not going. I'm sure the last thing they need is another MOM on the tour. Sharon Osbourne can have that role, thank you! I hope Kelly Osbourne and Laura get along. I bet she'll fall madly for Faith too. Laura wants to sing with Kelly on the bus, and become close friends - who knows, after 7 weeks on a tour bus anything can happen. Lots of unusual and exciting fun for sure. The Brothers Grim is the world famous side show you may have read about - it has a retro flavor from the early 1900's and is so strange and bizarre you'll never forget it. Ken (the Barker) will make you laugh and freak out at the same time! It's his job, and he's the best at it. Go to Ozzfest if you can, and make sure you stop by the BIG TENT to see the side show! (and Faith of course).

I WILL RELOCATE - But you have to help me do it.
Gotta get to Chicago! Any suggestions? I found the location I want to move to, Lincoln Park. I think there are some really cool apartments and condos right in the middle of the area, close to DePaul so I could teach too (part time). I would love that. Anyone up for sending us? Of course, I'd bring Faith.

Talk About HAVING to Have Faith!
Faith is an amazing dog you know, but she was named for the Christian trait or quality known as faith - the substance of things believed in, the evidence of things unseen. She is a great dog, but remember, when you have to LET GO and LET GOD have the reins, you gotta do it! This week I had lunch with the best people on Earth I think. Hundreds of victims, victims advocates, lawmakers, peacemakers, the Sheriff, police, and judges from Seminole and Brevard County, FL. They were awesome! They heard my little story - and they allowed me to tell my new sad story of being asked to leave my house. The landlord doesn't want to sell to me - he says I don't have a REAL job....how sad! (But it is true, I don't have one. Perhaps you would like to hire me? LOL) Faith and I will be applying for professional positions throughout the country. If you know of something we could do - please write to us.

Guidepost Magazine's Article is OUT
The Guideposts article is out. Before you read it, or if you already have, please let me say that I didn't ACTUALLY write the ariticle. It was based on an interview I gave. It is a good article, but I don't use "Southern" wording such as "ruckus, rustling, or wrested". IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN READING THE BOOK "With a Little Faith" or the new book "Faith Alone: Stories of an Amazing Dog" You can get them cheaper at www.xlibris.com (bookstore/search by author) or through Amazon. Thanks! Faith is truly gifted, and we appreciate Guidepost for their help.

Mike Maguire! My new booking agent
Hey everyone - it finally happened. I have a booking agent! YES! He's a good one. His name is Mike Maguire, and he is an established sports agent - I don't think Faith nor I could out-bat, out-hit, out-run, or out-catch any of the 128 players he represents, but that's OK...just think, we can go to more places and see more people. Call Mike at (571) 215-1147 if you have a gig or performance for Faith and/or me, and let's get the party started. His e-mail is: sportsagent82@yahoo.com

Laura (owner of Faith) is cutting her first CD
The CD Laura is working on is a demo for studios, promotions, etc. It covers six cover songs including the music of Michael Buble, Evanesence, Avril, Gwen Steffani, and Kelly Clarkson. The CD will aptly be named "Cover" and will feature a beautiful picture of Laura looking like a Cover Girl. When the music is written for her original songs (including "Up to the Skies" - written by Laura years ago) she will produce and promote the CD professionally - and we'll have links and websites set up for viewing and listening. It should be a great year for the kid - in July she and sister Caity will get to travel around a bit with Ozzie Osbourne through Brown Gravy Entertainment. We're going to London and Paris this year, and the girls will be recording for their reality show! Cool stuff in 2007.

Guideposts Magazine - May 2007
Hello, Faith and I will be featured in the Guideposts Magazine www.guideposts.com in the May 2007 issue. It will not be on sale until April 29 I think, but hey - it's something to look forward to! I don't think we're going to be on the cover, so you'll just have to search. Faith is the one with the big tongue hanging out and the yellow face! Have a blessed April. Try to keep dry!

Faith Alone: Stories of an Amazing Dog! IS OUT on AMAZON
Yes, I found it myself when I was googling my first book. I was a little shocked, but pleased, that they are selling it. Like Periwinkle before it, Amazon and/or Xlibris (publisher) has set a price that is too high for me. I don't know why they think anyone would want to pay that sort of a price for a 124 page book. BUT - it is a great book! The one thing about Faith Alone that really sets it apart from all other books is that is ONLY about my DOG Faith. The first book was more or less a memoir. The two books are being looked at now by a large pubishing house and they will be combined to make a fat, comprehensive book that should be released in the early part of next year or the latter part of this one. It is bound to be successful as the subject matter is successful - Faith is going places like firecrackers and it's just a matter of time now before she's in your house in some form - maybe a stuffed animal, poster, or book - she's worth it. She works hard, and she's so cute! What an adorable little girl. I told her about Amazon placing the book up for sale - she thought it was cool and all, but preferred that I leaned a little closer with my sausage pizza - that was more interesting to her. What a dog. The ISBN for Faith Alone: Stories of an Amazing Dog is: 142-57-3678-5

Oh, we're so excited! We're going to be on the Daryn Kagan website from now on, but it airs tomorrow and Faith made the feature! Yes! SO, go to www.darynkagan.com after 6:00 a.m. EST on Good Friday and you should be able to see us - Please, please, please forgive my red hair! I had fun with it. Hope your Easter and your lives are beautiful and blessed. Remember to see something periwinkle when you walk along the path!

Allan Zullo - The Dog Who Caught the Crook etc
Allan Zullo, an extraordinary author, has written yet another book - something like his 80th I think. This one, "The Dog Who Caught The Crook - and other incredible stories" has a little something about my Faith in it! I believe it is a publication out of the UK, but probably found on Amazon - worth a check! Allan was so kind, so very kind, and contributed to my favorite 2007 charity Operation Iraqi Children! What a sweet man! Please, go and check out his prolific writing skills. Thanks Allan. Oh, and if you're wanting to donate in Faith's name this year - we've decided not to give to the humane socities this year, but to focus on the human element instead. You can find Operation Iraqi Children by going to the weblink listed below.

Daryn Kagan Interviewed Me!
She's so pretty!!! I was so excited when I opened up my e-mail last week and saw that Daryn Kagan of www.darynkagan.com wanted to interview moi. Oh, I love her. She has a fantastic website with great stories of inspiration for both animals and humans to enjoy. You'll love it - and soon you'll see me and Faith walking around on it too. We're going to link the two sites so you can see both more easily. The footage on Daryn's video was freshly shot - just about 30 minutes ago actually on April 2, 2007 right outside our house. In Edmond, OK there are many trails to walk or jog, you can feed the ducks, chase a squirrel or find a beaver, as Caity has proven (read my blog). Faith had such a great time, and the interview was fun too - we pretended we were at Starbucks just talking. I actually believed it for a second too! What's your Starbucks drink? Mine - Quad Shot Wet Cappucino in the morning - I ease off a litle later on in the day. Thanks Daryn! Can't wait to see Faith running around your place!

MORE BOOKS! MORE BOOKS!
I'm writing again - yes, writing, writing, writing. My life consists of very little else actually - and I'm happy about that. Whenever I'm not writing I'm taxidriver to the kids - and I'd rather be at the computer. I'm writing a daily blog as many of you know, and a publisher asked me to write a book with about 200 blogs - I am apparently funny. I hope so! The same publisher is wanting a book about my strange dreams as well - this should make Gary smile - hahaha. Don't worry, I'll change your identity - I'll call you ....Gray! Yes, that's it...GRAY. Oh, but the really cool thing is, I'm going to talk them into letting me do a children's book series about Faith, 6 books total - Faith Gets Her Stripes, Faith Goes to NYC, Faith Goes to LA, Faith Goes to Chicago, Faith Goes to the Moon, maybe even Faith Goes to Baghdad! She could probably do a bit of good with the troops there! Hooah!

Not a YELLOW DOG Democrat! Stop Asking Please.
Faith is NOT, I repeat, NOT a Yellow Dog Democrat - however, I would vote on her before I voted on Mrs. Clinton. Sorry if that offends you. I would have to say that Faith, being only 4, is unable to vote, read or write, therefore everything she understands, hears, or knows about politics have been severely biased by myself. I am a Republican - but honest enough to tell you (the world) that I do vote the issue, not the party. We have been asked SO MANY TIMES if Faith is a Yellow Dog Democrat that I wanted to set the record straight. In 2004 I was asked by a member of a Kerry campaign to allow them to use Faith or her image for his 2004 election - I declined on principle. I am a Republican. I don't know what Faith would be if she were human, but she is NOT human, and she's under my care so I guess she'll just have to live with my overbearing, overprotective influence - at least I'm liberal enough to let her watch FOX news AND CNN. I'm cool like that. Go Rudy!

Jan/Feb/March 2008 - Happy Birthday March 22 to my Baby Boy Reu.
Faith is being booked for dates in the early part of next year already! Wow! Her appearance at the Global Pet Expo was such a success I guess - no one really notices I was there...I think that's hilarious, but nevertheless - we'll both be at a few expos in the winter of 08. I swear - I get to NYC 3 times a year and it's always between October and Feb. This summer, if nothing else happens, I'm going to the CITY and I'm staying 4 or 5 days JUST to take in NYC in the summer! We're going to be going to Philly, NYC, San Fran, and probably Seattle next winter for sure, and it looks like a winterfest of fun! The book tour (mine, not Faith's) will be in the latter part of Fall 07, and it will include 12 "big" cities - I know Miami, LA, NYC, Chicago, Detroit, Dallas, Houston, and Atlanta are on the list - if I have my way, which I sometimes do - Fairbanks will make that list as well - gotta love my Boy!! Reuben turns 21 on the 22nd by the way. HOOAH! Happy Birthday Baby Boy!

Hosptial Visits - Military Stations
Faith has been preoccupied lately - she has a couple of frineds (human) in the hosptial here in OKC and she's been making visits. First it was my dad, he had a very serious bout with prostrate cancer, and she was able to show him a little love while he awaited surgery and again in recovery. He has fully recovered, thank God - and since so many of the doctors and nurses enjoyed seeing Faith's smiling face in the halls we returned on a weekly. Today she was asked to attend a ceremony at Tinker Air Force Base soon, and I am taking the opportunity to book as many local celebrations as possible. We're OKIES ... Bring it on Ft. Sill! You too Altus! If you've got patients in your hosptials needing a little yellow-faced-tongue-wagging smile - call me! (E-mail is best actually. We'd love to make your day!) THIS...THIS...is what God intended for my little girl. Faith brings faith!

Goin' to London! (and Cleveland, Seattle, Orlando & Dallas)
Well, the good news - I'm traveling. The bad news - I'm traveling! I have so many dates to hit and so many things to do, that I'm actually deciding to cut back in order to let Faith have a break or two in between. The schedule is slightly flexible - April 24-25 Orlando. I'm speaking at a convention for Victims Week through the State of Florida; this will be awesome. April 27-29 Cleveland - Say hello to the Indians, my good friends at Channel 5, and maybe - just maybe, a little House of Blues visit on the 28th to see the Lt. Dan Band. May 6: Seattle - Go Army, and Dallas is in there too. We'll be doing a few guest visits with the Brothers Grim Side Show as they are looking to become a reality hit TV show with Faith as a special guest. The fun starts in July - LONDON!!! Can't wait. We've been invited to do a few things including newspaper interviews, television and radio spots, hospital, firestation, police station, and military station stops...and yes, I will find my way to Oxford. I will find my way to OXFORD! I have to say it...Jesus is so cool!

Stuck in Dallas!
OK...we were flying home from Orlando, FL where we were the guests of Ethical Products (Spot and Fashion Pet products) at the Globel Pet Expo. The wind over the Midwest and Southwest was so bad that we were unable to fly out once we actually arrived in Dallas. I was rushed up to the Admiral's Club at the A-Terminal where we (Faith and I) met some really cool people. There were all sorts of people and I regret that my camera batteries weren't working when I met some of the first sets of well wishers that came by to tell us how great it was to see Faith safe and almost home. We met up with singers Rick Springfield and Michael Bolton, NFL legend Michael Irvin, Matthew the Ya-Ya boy, and about a 100 U.S. Army Soldiers!!! Best men and women in the world wear ACUs...just ask Faith. When she sees anyone wearing ACUs (Army Combat Uniform) she goes nuts trying to get their attention. She loved them all. I got a few on film. I've loaded the shots for you under "Stuck in Dallas". Oh, and just ignore the funny picture of Reuben and Caity in Reu's ACUs...it was at home a week ago. Reuben was showing Caity the drills. Thanks Rick for being so sweet to my little one.

Baby Boy is in Fairbanks!
Reuben has landed in Fairbanks, Alaska - the Ft. Wainwright base is cold he said. He said it was about 6 degrees below zero when he arrived and expected to dip into the 20's and 30's below this evening. How sad is that? My boy's from Oklahoma - our freezers aren't that cold. He'll be fine. I hope he remembered to bring a few good books. I'll have to send him the one I'm reading now - Pirate Hunter by Richard Zacks. Winters in the Tundra can be so very long I suppose. I hope the world understands how much my boy loves them. I know I'm proud of him and his decision to serve in the Army. HOOWA!

Thank You's and Endorsements!
Hey, thanks to the several THOUSANDS who have written and wished Faith a great life, and all the hugs and kisses you are sending her after her ordeal - we truly truly do appreciate it. It's just that it's going to take a few days to get back to everyone. Please know we love you all, and want to respond as quickly as we can. Thank you also to the Global Pet Expo participants that gave me cards (416 total) and to every single one of you who indicated that you or your company would be interested in endorsing Faith, be it through a commercial, free product, or just wanting her to show up at your next function. I'll be sorting through cards, calling you, e-mailing you, and asking you to please remind me what it is that Faith can do for you or your product. Obviously we can't do everything - we would love to do commercials, be sponsored for her lifetime with Nestle' Purina, Pedigree, perhaps Ethical Products, Bamboo, anyone who remembered what a success the Expo was with Faith's appearance and saw that she really is an incredible dog with singular powers to encourage, uplift, and change the lives of millions! Literally - there will be a BILL introduced soon to Congress regarding the safe traveling requirements for American based carriers. We're going to do that soon, and hopefully through American Airlines as it would be the best PR to remedy what happened. Thank you, thank you. Call me or e-mail me if you're interested in having Faith do a show, commercial, or just an appearance. We're booking very very very quickly....and yes, we'll ONLY fly American probably - they're bending over backwards to help, we want to meet them in the middle!

She's BACK! She's HOME!
Faith sure had an adventure! We don't know the details and I guess my attorney Anita F. Sanders will be dealing with American in the very near future to figure out all that they will be doing to bend over backwards to make it all better. I'm just going to love on my puppy for now. She's under the bed as I'm writing this, and she's snoring - all is well today. She had quite the day on Wed. as she was missing from about 8:55 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and I didn't know when or where she was going to be found. Thank God it was not days, but only hours. She is a U.S. SGT in the Army, so it could have been so very very bad - not to mention that she's my baby!!! I won't (I repeat WON'T) be putting her in cargo ever again. Many people have said I should boycott American Airlines, but I think just the opposite! American has been such a great help in so many ways, they really went out of their way to make things better for us, and I believe they are doing more than most would to make it a better situation for everyone. Thanks personally to: Lou, Tracey, Mr. Brooklyn, Dale, and Christy at the Admiral Club in Dallas! We'll do something in cooperation with American probably, and make it OK for everyone involved. Faith is home, she's happy - we'll deal with the business end of things later. On a personal note: She met Michael Bolton, who was trying to get to a benefit in California...Michael, I prayed for you! She met NFL legend and preacher Michael Irvin who was tall and beautiful, and Rick Springfield - bouncey man himself! Rick was so thrilled to see Faith, he was just bubbling! Faith also met thousands of well wishers who were at the Dallas International Airport. I have to shout out to the following men: Keith Bond of England, Tyler of Canada (Medical Man/Backpacker without a last name you understand) and Godfrey Mundua of Uganda! We had dinner last night. All of us stranded in Dallas after the storms, and none of us were acquainted prior. I think we'll make it an annual thing! What do you say guys? Thanks also to Bobby Chandiramani of Dallas, he and his partner were great supporters of Faith and fine jewelers with big big hearts.

American Airlines LOSES Faith! 2/21/07 From Oklahoma City to Orlando
IT IS TRUE! I was forced to literally call Faith's attorney Anita F. Sanders in Oklahoma City to report that Fatih was indeed LOST in flight somewhere between Oklahoma City and Orlando. We did make a stop in Dallas as well. Here's what happened. We arrived at the OKC Will Rogers World Airport at 8:00 and because our flight was taking off in less than 1 hour they decided to put us on another flight. We flew #361 at 9:55 and at that time the AA ticket agent booked both Faith and I on FT. 361 - I went to the gate and confirmed that she was on board, and was told she was. In Dallas I tried to confirm that she had been transferred but was told there was a computer error or glitch and that I would have to trust that she was on board FT 630 - she wasn't. I didn't know she wasn't, but she wasn't on that flight. There was NO WAY for me to know, and I would never have boarded if she had not been given passage. I arrived in Orlando, went to Baggage, and that's where I came to the very sad realization that my dog, my baby Faith had NOT been boarded in Dallas correctly. I instantly had a million thoughts running through my head, but believe it or not, my first real conscious thoughts were for my kids - what would they be told! I couldn't be blunt, and I couldn't be hopeful - I didn't want them turning on the TV and finding out that their dog was missing - someone was already calling the TV stations while I was trying to get information from the Orlando AA manager. I was actually told by the Baggage agent that I would NOT be given information which she could readily pull up on her computer - she was geniunely concerned about whatever it was that she could read on the computer screen, so I decided to call Anita after she refused on 2 separate occasions to give me direct information. Anita and Channel 4, KFOR-TV (Thanks CHUCK) were able to get in touch with American from their end, and work their magic. She was placed on the next flight I believe and arrived in Orlando a little after 6:00 p.m. EST....Channel 2, an NBC affliate was there for the reunion, Mariam sat on the floor with me while I just loved on Faith and the crowds of concerned customers from many different flights hung around to see what was going to become of the situation! I was so happy to see her - and she was so happy to see and hear me calling to her. I can't tell you how nerve wracking it can be to have one of your children, in this case my dog, but one of my family members placed on the wrong flight! Please! That seems impossible. One of the AA crew told me that last year an AA flight crew member put a dog on the wrong flight and the flight he/she was placed on also carried dry ice. The dog was dead when it was recovered. I know he didn't want to scare me, but he wanted me to be prepared - a wrong flight means the crew probably didn't have time to check out the new flight well enough to be sure of the other cargo! For years Faith flew up in the cabin, but with Homeland Security they won't let her unless she is in celebrity status at the time of the flight....and sadly, for American Airlines, being the World's Most Photographed Dog is simply not good enough to hold status! SHAME on A.A. for sure, but on the other hand - thank you for taking care of her once she was found. FEEL FREE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT AMERICAN AIRLINE'S POLICIES CONCERNING FAITH...PLEASE. (Thanks Anita!)

Orlando, Florida first
This week will find Faith and I in Orlando, FL at the Great Pet Expo in the Orange County Convention Center! Can't wait! It is really suppose to be huge, lots of exhibits, lots of fun, and if you're going JUST to see us, you'll find us with the Ethical Pets Products people - awesome, awesome people! I can't wait to meet them. There will be a limited supply of books (we ordered them to be there!) and I hope to meet so many new faces, smiles, and hearts! After Florida - wow - I'm writing my book for a while, having some down time to prepare me for the real tours and then it's back to Orlando in April, not to mention Cleveland, Miami, and maybe Cincinati! I hope to do a bit of traveling throughout May, June, and July. We'll see what unfolds!

Hi Niki
My good friend Niki likes to read the updates on my site from time to time, and I thought I would just say a big HI NIKI to her. I could totally embarrass her right now and tell you all what I bought her last night, but instead I'll just make her laugh her butt off at work - Hi NIKI Kiss the family for me when you get home.

Karen Smith of Florida has given me a gift!
Karen painted a portrait of Faith and it is so pretty!!!! She did this on her own, she's just the nicest person. She had the frame ordered, measured, set and then shipped it to us. Can you believe that! She's awesome. I am trying to add it to the picture gallery but am having difficulty. I will do so at another time, but you can see it on myspace or Faith's myspace. www.myspace.com/faiththedog.net Just click on PICS and go to the end. Thanks Karen!!! It is gorgeous, right down to the spots on my baby's little tongue.

Goin' with Da Bears!
Yes, yes, yes, there is a reason I'm going with the BEARS. Afterall, we're Packer fans. We can't even THINK about supporting the Bears in this family without my son just stomping on us, and making us feel like pancakes....BUT...and this is a big but. My good friend Tammie Raynor is from Chicago, and Faith has been to Chicago, but she has NOT been to Indy! Sorry. We have to support Tammie. She let my baby boy stay with her a couple of days after Basic when he had 2 day pass in Louisville where his base is, and where she lives now. I have to support my buddy!!! Sorry to everyone and anyone who thinks me less of a person. I would also like to see the Bears do a 20th Anniversary Shuffle!

Update on Dates and Fun Stuff
Today we finished the interview that will appear in Guide Post Magazine in their MAY issue. It was fun. Bruno from www.snapthepicture.com took all the photos. We shot at the library in Edmond, outside a little, and at my actual house! This is the first time my real house will be in a magazine. I normally borrow someone's home for shoots because my babies never actually clean the house well enough to let a camera in. Other news: We'll be in Orlando, FL on Feb. 21-24 doing a wonderful convention for American Pet Products I believe, we're attached to a group out of New Jersey called Ethical Pets! Look them up. In May (May 6) we'll be back at Ft. Lewis, one of my absolute favorite places in the world. We're doing a dog-show and a book signing. That'll be awesome. We're setting up USO tour spots now, and will be making those announcements as they come in. My book is being combined with the 2nd book I just finished, and it will be published through a large house soon enough. My hope is that I can publish at least 2 books per year - tour as many military bases, and do as many schools and bookstore events as possible so that Faith's talents and strengths can be showcased. Thanks for your love and support!

Periwinkle is FREE for a limited time (PDF)
Yes, it is true. Xlibris has overcharged for my new poetry book, and therefore, it is also too expensive at Amazon and other channels. I never believed I would pay that kind of money for it, and I wrote it! So, what I'm doing is giving it away through a PDF file from me to you. All you have to do is ask. This is a limited time offer, and if the book is ever picked up by a major house I'm sure they'll make me stop. Periwinkle is more of a book of love - I want to share it. Of course I ask that you don't try to make a profit off of it, but share it. Openly share the poetry and the prose with anyone you care about. I think it's a good idea...and who knows, perhaps someone will share a poem with you from the PDF file they download. So, just write to me and ask to receive it. Oh, and yes....there are a few "hot" poems in this book. So please read the entire book before you let your kids under 14 read the book. Thank you! Just write to me at : faith@faiththedog.net

NBC-Channel 5 Dallas/Ft. Worth throwing a Health/Fitness Expo Feb. 10-11
Hey ! We were invited, but we're unable to attend. I wanted to throw it out there for you anyway, it should be fun, exciting, full of great things to do and here's the great part: FREEEEEE It doesn't cost a penny to go! There's usually 40-60,000 people showing up to find out about nutrition, and what it would take to get in better shape, stay that way, or just to understand what it may take to give you a better start to a new fitness program for the new year! If you can make it, look it up on the NBC-5 website. Have fun, and be healthy! We wish we could go! It would be so much fun.

In Memory of Will Orr - Oklahoma City, OK
Yesterday, while perhaps the world was celebrating the coming of a new year, our church, and our community lost a very talented, funny, witty, and often off-beat bachelor - our very good friend Will Orr. Will was and will always be remembered for his rough-charm, his funny faces, and the way he joked about being put-upon 24/7....a sort of Rodney Dangerfield, if you will. For me, I feel his loss in a different way. For about a year I have been trying to convince this mega-talent to pubish is manuscript which literally took him years to perfect, but he refused to self-publish; telling me he was holding out for a real publisher, perhaps now the stars in his mind will become character witnesses for him - and you too will be able to see the genius we played games with, laughed with, and teased endlessly...because he was one of those rare jewels that gave as much as he received in jest. If you've carefully read my book "With a Little Faith" you will see a sort of out-of-place mention of Will because it was a standing joke between us that I would mention him as my friend in the book when it became published. I kept my promise. Will, I love you!

RADIANT on CBS tomorrow and in NYC for the New Year
My friend Bryce Graves (Brown Gravy Entertainment) the one that got Faith involved in the Bros. Grim Side Show, is the manager for the hot new and exciting band Radiant. They're going to be on CBS-TV morning shows tomorrow, and they were selected to play for millions on the Jimmy Kimmel Live show in NYC for New Year's Eve! Awesome!! We don't know why Jimmy Kimmel actually canceled bringing Faith out this summer, but hey - to each their own. We hope Radiant does a great job and just blows the doors off the other bands!! Go guys! Congrats Bryce!! Talk it up! Talk it up!!

Book Deal in the very near future
My agent is awesome! I'm working with a very talented author named Louisa Jaggar in Washington DC to get a proposal for my new book to our agent. I will present our proposal/marketing plan for the book to the agent on Tuesday of next week. I'll then be able to sit back and watch my agent do her work...she's really really good. Soon we'll have a contract, and when it's signed I can write all about it. Should be fun! Faith is excited, I drug her out from under the bed today to celebrate with a bit of bacon and some peanuts! She's really happy about the peanuts...they were left here Christmas evening after the party, and she claimed them immediately. I scooped him up off the floor and put them in a bucket for her, and from time to time I give them back to her in smaller doses. I'm telling you -- she's a normal dog!

Puppies in the Park
We went to the park to do a little after Christmas walking - just to get that turkey off, and Faith was the belle of the ballpark! It was hilarious to see dogs and owners running up to her and thanking her and me I guess for being on all sorts of television shows this past season. The puppies were so cute just sniffing around Faith, barking and jumping. They weren't quite sure what to do with her. She's not like all the other dogs in the park!

Pray for Faith
Poor Faith got hurt and we're going to the vet. She struck her shoulder on something and it's swelling up. She'll probably be OK, but it is seeping this time, which is something it hasn't done in the past when she hits her shoulder on the fence, or the ground because she's been running to fast for her two back feet. The girl just takes off from time to time after a squirrel or bird. I think she would fly if she had wings!

What a great day!
I was just shown some pictures of a little poodle and pom puppy that has no front paws. He has legs and they are sort of tilted inward. He should be just fine. I told his owner Mary to try to keep him up like a rabbit, but actually because he does have the front legs, he can hobble, it's not a crime! He may not walk upright, but he may. He's going to be small, and smaller is better for bi-pedal movement anyday! So, happy day! This little guy is going to be given a great chance at life! Thanks to Mary S. So cool.

Humane Society of Bay County! (and the lovely Mayor Lauren DeGeorge)
Oh, I just wanted to say thank you again to the super duper wonderful people of the greater area of Panama City, FL. It really was a great honor to be there, and to have received a key and plaque from their great (new) mayor Ms. Lauren DeGeorge. One of the highlights of my stay this month was being awarded the key and the plaque at the mall where a group of over 100 people were gathered to see Faith and to hear a little about her journey. Great people! Mayor DeGeorge let me in on a major political secret too: She's the first female mayor since just after the turn of the 20th Century! Can you believe it? She must be doing something right! She was so nice, and so accepted by the citizens of the city too. The Humane Society of Bay County deserves a second round of applause because they have been upgraded over the past couple of years from a regular shelter to a no-kill shelter, due in part to Jan Pittman, my beautiful hostess for the few days I was in the city. I'm told the shelter has helped thousands of pets find healthy and happy homes, and their message of the importance to spay and neuter your pet was clearly irriterated in every speech I heard or gave while in town. I had originally listed a website that was incorrect, I wanted to make that correction now. You can find the Humane Society of Bay County at www.adoptme.org. I will list it at the bottom of the panel as well. Thanks again guys! Merry Christmas...on your gorgeous white beaches! I'm so jealous!

VH1 WebJunk Sadly, didn't happen
My hopes were dashed when someone called me telling me VH1 was going to show Faith on the WebJunk Best show tonight, but it was an old clip from last year that they saw on the teaser for the opening of the show....not in the show this year. I apologize for any inconvenience, but it was a fun show. I looked up all the videos and realized that Faith wasn't on the top 40...it would have been fun. I'm told she was on it last year, perhaps that's where they got the clip.

Books to be combined!
Hey, get this: I have a great book agent - I'll tell you her name if she allows me to, but she is going to take my two books "With a Little Faith" (2nd Ed.) and the new one which can be purchased only through Xlbiris in about a week, "Faith Alone", and she's going to have a publisher pay me to combine the two books into one. Now, I don't know if that means she will have all the books pulled from Amazon's selling powers, or if you can still purchase them now or not. When they are combined, the book will be retitled "With a Little Faith" and it will have many changes. For instance, it will have the entire story embedded into one 330-350 page book, and it will be available in hardcover as well as softcover. The price will be manageable because it will be mass produced and in your bookstores! That's the biggest exciting news right there. No more searching for it, and then waiting for it. YES! I am very excited...and Faith's talent agent will be seeking a script writer to make it into a movie script so that it can be told on Lifetime or USA. This is going to be a very exciting year for both Faith and our family...let's get it started!

Happy 4th Birthday FAITH!!
Wow! My puppy is 4. I don't go by human years when I describe my dog, because I don't believe they equate the same. Faith is still around 12 I think. She loves to play, loves to go places, she's as curious today as she was as a little bitty puppy hopping around the house. This morning I woke her up to tell her Happy Birthday, and you know what...she didn't get it! I took her for a walk, and I told her again...nothing! So, maybe when we pull out the cake today, and the party favors she'll have a little clue that this is HER day! She's going to have a big celebration with Matrix and our friend's dogs (and maybe the ferrets will join too!) Hopefully I'll add some pictures later to show you the joy in her face, but, the big present - is having Reuben home to celebrate with her. This present came from Jesus! Thanks everyone for your well wishes and your lovely gifts. Believe me, she will use them!

Oprah's Favorite
The following statement was copied from the Oprah Winfrey Show website. I have not altered it in any way. I find it impressive, informative, and really inspirational. Thank you Oprah. "Faith is one of Oprah's all-time favorite stories of hope. "She is a demonstration of what it looks like to persevere—what it feels like to say, 'I can do what I want to do. Nothing can stop me,'" Oprah says. While visiting South Africa, Oprah says a young girl came up to her and said, "I loved your show with the dog with two legs because he made me believe I can do anything."

The Boy is HOME!
I'm sooooo happy! My Reu is home. We picked him up at the airport today, and he's so skinny. The Army runs them to the point of tiny waists and big biceps. He's about 6'2", 188, ready to run, always looking for food, and really...very...bald! He's so cute. I'll post the pictures as soon as I can. He grabbed Caity, Laura, and I and just hugged!! People in the airport were crying! I was crying, the whole place knew he was home. It was beautiful! I love my boy. Thanks to Jesus for the best Christmas present a mom could ever ask for: All of her beautiful children together and healthy...and home.

You Have Not Because You Ask Not! Well, I'm asking!
The Lord is always there to help you, and if you just ask in His name you will receive if you believe. Faith is always proving that to me. When I think I can't continue because I'm done, spent, down..forget about it! She's up and running on those back legs...I can surely go a little further on mine.

NO CELL PHONE AT THIS TIME
OOPS....it is true, teenagers destroy your cell availability without meaning to. I am NOT able to accept calls or make calls on my cell number until probably later in January due to the fact that one of my kids, or more, have FAR exceeded the meager limits I have established. I apologize for this inconvenience. If you need or want to reach me please e-mail me through this site, or at faith_stringfellow@yahoo.com. I will be able to write you back and exchange my home phone number with you. Thank you for understanding.....oh, and does anyone have an extra $350 they want to loan me for the cause! (KIDS!!!)

Donations Please
The area humane socieities tell me that they are WAY LOW on the annual incoming donations. You can always donate through me, but you can also donate through your local or national humane societies. Remember this Christmas the animals are people too....well, actually, they're better, but nevertheless you get the picture! Donate please! Thanks.

Ebay Happy!
Since we're going to POSSIBLY be on a European tour this winter (Feb-Apr) I am going to take the opportunity to go through the house and the garage and list everything I can on Ebay and just get rid of it. I met a woman today in the post office who was mailing off 47 boxes. 47! I asked her, and she said "Ebay". What a great idea! So, because several venues have canceled our peformances this holiday and we're in need of January rent...I'm selling something on EBAY too...a THANK YOU. It will go to the 2nd Edition of the 2nd book "Faith Alone: Stories of an Amazing Dog". The first edition comes out December 24, 2006 through www.xlibris.com (bookstore/search/title) and the 2nd Ed. will be picked up by a regular publisher soon. The Thank You is for anyone who gets the bid. I will thank you publically in the book, sign one and send it to you! (Ginger Handy, I need your address girl. I owe you a couple of books from last time!!) To bid on the THANK YOU 1. Go to Ebay. 2. Go to books 3. type in the following number 110067570653 or just the words "Thank you for my new book" and it will take you there.

New Book About Faith
IT IS ALMOST READY TO ORDER. The book that is 100% about Faith is almost ready. It is titled "Faith Alone: Stories of an Amazing Dog". The publisher Xlibris has one mistake to fix, they got the title wrong on the cover, but it should be ready to order just before Christmas. Now, you won't be able to have it before then, it takes a while to print and ship. However, you can download a picture and wrap that up if you want to...telling yourself, or your loved one that it is nearly ready. If they hadn't made a boo-boo on the cover it would have been on time. Here are the two ISBN numbers. Hardcover: 1-4257-3679-3 and Softcover: 1-4257-3678-5 Again, I had nothing to do with the pricing. When I get it to a proper publishing house it should be better priced. It will also be available on Amazon in February, 2007. Thank you so much for your patience. The book is written intentionally at the 5-8th grade levels, and there is some repetition to it, as it will be necessary to make several points more than once for children wishing to use the book for their reports in school. (Being a teacher I know a few things about having to repeat myself to kids.) I do hope you enjoy the book as much as I enjoyed writing it. Faith liked it when I read it to her, blushing just a bit when I mention how very special she really is.

Panama City, FL December 13-14
Hello all of you out in Dog-land. I'll be going EAST for a show with the Bay County Humane Society on December 13-14 at the Martin Theatre. We'll be visiting the Panama City Toyota as well, and doing a book signing hopefully if they can get the books to them in time. It's a race! We'll be excited to meet with these lovely people because we were unable to make it around Halloween. Better late than never! I really am looking forward to meeting Sugar!! She's a sweet dog in the area. I can't wait to see as many of the PC area visitors and natives too! Please, if you live in the area, come out to see us. Listen to you radios and TV stations. I'm sure Faith will be on both. We're excited.

Bumped off Letterman!
OMG..this is so funny. I am answering so many e-mails and so many myspace comments about what happened at the Letterman Show last week. I didn't think it was that big of a deal, otherwise I would have written about it before today. Obviously, Faith is now appearing in several newspapers, magazines, on radio shows, and in bulletins on myspace, blogs, etc...and everyone is asking why David Letterman's executive producers would bump her appearance Monday to allow Michael Richards to apologize. That's not exactly what happened. I wanted to set a couple of things straight just incase one of the four dozen photographer/reporters who were there that night are viewing. OK..we went to the show to surprise David. It was orchestrated, planned, but not confirmed. When we arrived we were escorted to the back, and there were all these reporters and photographers from major papers, major press credentials there. I didn't know why - I had never seen this many show up at one place before, and they were national and international too. So, I do what anyone should do...I stood still, smiled, and let Faith off the leash! For several minutes, not seconds, minutes, the flashes were going off, questions were being asked, and I was answering them as fast as I could. A white limo pulls up, and the door in the back opens...two guys come out, one for me and one for the white limo passengers. Seems Jerry Seinfeld was showing up to help with Michael Richards' apology. OK..that's cool, we could wait. I told the guy that was coming for me. He said OK, but Jerry can't get out of the limo with Faith standing there. We moved. The thing is...so did the reporters!! OH, not so good for Faith...we were asked NOT to be on stage this particular night. I said OK..never once thinking that Jerry had anything to do with it, but the letters I'm getting state otherwise. I can't say, I wasn't aware of it, so I won't impliment him. He's a great man, and obviously a good friend to want to help Michael with his problem....then again, he was scheduled to promote his Season 7 DVD too. All I know is that the next thing I know I'm walking down Broadway to the hotel, and not being interviewed by the late night king himself....I guess it's true. I was bumped! Faith will simply have to be invited again, and this time we won't try to make it a surprise.

NYC TRIP
I will have to go into more detail in an actual page, as I have to tell you everything! But, let it be known that Faith was so accepted in NYC this week, and she was loved, and hugged, and photographed...there is NO REASON to think she is NOT the world's most photographed dog. More than 5,000 photos of her were snapped in just a day and more the next. It was so much fun. I'll tell you all about it tomorrow after Thanksgiving, after I have recovered. We were able to meet, kiss, hug, and talk to so many of the cast and crew of the original Law & Order after they 'kicked' us out of our room so they could film. They kicked us out of the park! They even kicked us out of our own hotel and off the public streets! But it was fun, and it was worth it. They were the kindest of people, and I have to say it..though it pains me to admit it, yes...I have found a better looking man in NYC. Montel held the record until I met Jesse L. Martin....people, the man is a picture of absolute perfection! (I'm still smiling) I'll post pictures soon. Lots of love to you, and to your families on this glorious Thanksgivings...thanks Norman!

Faith in NYC Mon-Wed
We are going to NYC on Monday of this week, and will try to surprise Letterman at his studio either Monday evening or Tuesday. We will be meeting with producers and investors about a reality show for Faith. It's going to be so much fun. It will be my 45th Birthday on Wed. so I will be doubly happy to be in my favorite city, drinking Starbucks coffee, and having a great time with Faith! Thanks for the prayers. Starbucks has the red cups again for Christmas!! The sales are going on again too!

Guess Who's Coming Home for Christmas!
Reuben!!!! Yes, Reuben is coming home December 19-January 3 and he'll be my most favorite present this year! He will be sleeping on the couch where he belongs, not in some Army bed...poo on that! No, seriously, he's the best Army soldier I have ever met. He's one of the fastest in his company, not just the platoon, but the whole company. They had competitions the other day, and he was up at the very top. They may have a run off! He's passed his rifle, bayonet, and other killing procedures. He's in martial arts, and well...just a damn good soldier already. He'll be driving tanks in a few weeks up in the North Pole. He has a great mission...he has to protect Santa Claus. Yes, it is true, my son has a special operation - they only take the best you know for that one! :) LOL

Reality TV Shows this Spring/Fall
Faith is probably shooting 2 reality shows this spring for next fall's line up. One will be secret for now, can't talk about it - under the radar at this point, but the other is a show relating to the circus side show that we are a part of. We go to NYC on the 20-22 of November to talk to producers and investors who are very interested in the show itself. Faith would be a part of it, and then in the 2nd she would be a contestant...I can tell you that much. I don't know where the circus show will be shot, but the other will be shot in Los Angeles. We do the pilot for it on December 4-11 and then the show itself will be filmed in spring. Fun times! Still hoping for some Military stations to call for a USO tour, that would be cool. We have a new agent too...this one will stick! She's Anne Gordon of Hollywood Paws. You can google her. When we get really big and famous Bryce Graves will probably be our manager.

Help a soldier get home for Thanksgiving
I know she won't mind me telling you - if you can help her out, please do. There is a U.S. Army soldier in Seattle, Washington named Spc. Laura Bigenho and she's trying to raise money to get home to Pittsburg, PA for the Thanksgiving holidays before she is deployed to Iraq just before Christmas. This is a real need...she needs $900 and she needs it now! I can't give her a penny...but I've promised her my son! She and Reuben can live happily ever after in camoflage! Her e-mail is: laura.bigenho@us.army.mil Her address is: SPC Bigenho, Laura M. HHC, I Corps, #146 Box 339538 Fort Lewis, WA 98433-9538 You can send her donations to get home to her Mom and Dad so they can all be together for the holidays. God WILL bless your gift. Her family has recently been through some life-changing and faithful challenges...they need this holiday together. Can you help? Every dollar counts. We met Laura when she covered Faith's story of being commissioned as a Sgt at Ft. Lewis this summer. She's incredible! God's lady!

Self Publishing
I'm a self published author. I've published three books through Xlibris, but I can tell you, it's not easy and the publisher doesn't make it easy either. You have to stay on them all the time, and nothing gets done without money crossing someone's hands. So, prepare you work well, get the story lined out. Put everything on one disk or in one folder before submitting it, and for goodness sakes...use spellcheck. I did and the publisher still got somethings wrong. Check their work! Always check their work.

Will Platt Please
Laura and I went to Martinburg, Berkley County W.V. for the first annual Olde Towne Book Faire, where I, the author, was given a volunteer...his name was Randy Nelson, and he was adorable! But, Randy, although the biggest anime fan this side of the Atlantic, was unable to hold Laura's attention. He didn't call her when asked to, and thus lost his place at the banquet dinner to Mr. Will Platt, an adorable young man we will be seeing much much more of in the near future. The word "smitten" comes up when I try to describe how the two of them looked at each other. But I digress. I was also given another volunteer named Brandi. She couldn't pronounce the word "Spy" to save her life...but it was so much fun teasing her. I loved her!! She was great to us, and she taught us how to speak with a perfect West Virginian accent in no time. The last volunteer hasn't left us! Will Platt is superglued to Laura's heart....she hasn't stopped smiling since the last words they spoke to each other in person. Viva la book faires! Read the page titled "Olde Towne Book Faire" on the left for more information.

MOST PHOTOGRAPHED DOG IN THE COUNTRY!
I was giving a speech at the Martinberg Berkley County Library in Martinberg, W.V., to a bunch of really cool kids when I was told by a text that CNN had just announced that Faith is the No. 1 photographed dog in the country! That has to be true gauging by all of the photographers that flock to her in the airports, parks, malls, and just on the streets wherever we are! I have no idea how they know exactly where we are, but it's fun to watch her smile for the cameras...she doesn't usually run away or try to escape a photographer....just ask! We're usually pretty accomidating. We may have to rush off to catch a plane, but other than that! Oh, and we'll be in NYC on the 20th pretty early just incase you want a jump ahead of the crowd!! We're seeing a potential producer about a reality show for Faith to be a part of! AWESOME....I want the anchor who reported the story to contact me or my manager Bryce Graves to confirm the details behind the story! Thanks shutterbugs all around the country...get her best side!!

Martinberg, Berkley County, West Virginia - Olde Towne Book Faire
Hello from West Virginia!! They have a big sign that reads "Open for Business" when you drive in from Baltimore, and I had to tease the driver about that! Yes, you too can have a business in W.V. so just get on the ball and call the local Chamber of Commerce if you want your business near the metropolitan complexes near and around our nation's capital. It really is gorgeous!! The people have been so warm and welcoming. We did a presentation at the Blue Ridge Community Center and another a the Martinberg Library - that one was for kids, it was GREAT. 50 screaming, laughing, clapping, hugging, little 2-5th graders from several different area schools were there to love on Faith and ask a bunch of questions. They shared their pizza with her too. She made it on the front page of their local paper the Journal! Awesome. We'll be in the area through Saturday Nov. 4, doing shows and presentations at the Shenandoah Ballroom, a fabulous Civil-War era building on Martin and Queen downtown. It's beautiful! You can Google it for photos. We'll post some when we get home. Lots of authors here, and lots of great fun. I'll tell you more when I get home and sort out the business cards. We did meet Melanie Pierce, an independent rep for several of the Washington Redskins. She is really awesome! Love to you all, and Faith sends her barks!

Thank You OPRAH!!!
Hello to HARPO and Happy Halloween to everyone at the studio in Chicago! Thanks for airing our segment of the show, and for addressing the needs of so many wonderful people who are seeking healing and spiritual awareness. Faith is just SO excited to see new people and to be loved and hugged on. We didn't know we were going to be on Oprah today, but I got a call from the Chicago Tribune about it, and from Northwest America, as well as a Hollywood talent agent...you guys are just too kind. Thank you again, and don't forget to wear scary masks and make people happy tomorrow too!

Bros. Grim Side Show!!
We ran away and joined the circus people! We had the best time Saturday night. We drove to Dallas from OKC, which is about 2 1/2 hours, and we joined a wonderfully fun side show for a wild and wicked private party hosted by a really nice man in the Dallas area. He was smart enough to hire Bryce Graves of the Brown Gravy Entertainment Agency, which is the management company and/or owning partner of the Bros. Grim Side Show, a fantastic in-your-face real live side show like you used to see in the movies or at the Fair. There were great freak acts, and things to see under the big tent. I was unable to take too many pictures, but I'll get more as I hang out with these guys in the future. Go to the Photo Gallery to see Bryce and a couple of shots of what it looked like under the stars in the BIG city! Believe it or not, the lights, sounds, music, microphones, crowds and chaos didn't affect Faith whatsoever, she loved every minute of it. She kept checking out the girls on the round bed in the cabana because they would love all over her and kissy-kissy with her for extended periods of time. So many men at that party wished they were Faith, let me tell you! Faith was the belle of the ball for sure.

Oklahoma City Adoption Welfare Division!
We had the best of times today!!! We went to the PetSmart on Memorial and Penn in Oklahoma City, and we were under the big tent. We were there yesterday too, but the weather became so disturbing that we had to leave after 1 hour. Today it was gorgeous! Over 200+ dogs and cats were adopted at the event, and we were able to meet and talk to over a 1000 people from all over the state. One couple drove, literally drove 300 miles to meet Faith! They had their picture taken with her, and it just makes me cry every single time I hear something like that. One woman (No names - but please pray for her) is fighting an infection that may lead to her having to have her own leg amputated. She has 2 small children who are so precious, and she told me that meeting Faith gives her new encouragement. That she wanted to personally see us, and that now that she has, she has more strength. We cried together, hugged, and I feel like we're already close friends. She'll call me soon and we'll have a great prayerfest to ask the Lord to spare her leg. Faith does this sort of thing to people....all the time, it's awesome, and I thank God that I am a part of that healing process.

Hollywood UPDATE
OK..we know more, but not enough. We know it is a series, a television series, and it is something that looks promising because they asked for Faith's involvment. I have to wait about a week to find out the details, but I'll let you know....fun stuff down the pike!

A Simple Misunderstanding! (But a funny one)
Reuben, if you didn't know it, was publically educated. He is the perfect example of the type of kid that gets passed when they should be held accountable, and even though he's mine...and OH I love that boy, he could use another 4 or 5 solid years of English and/or spelling/vocab work. Here's why: The boy writes to me from the Army and says "Mom, I really need chopstix and I need it now." So, I rush out that day, stop what I'm doing, and I got to several local stores trying to find him some chopsticks. I couldn't find them anywhere but finally found a beautiful set of 10, red and bamboo colored, very authentic, very pretty, and I'm thinking he needed them because he's 1/16 Chinese and wanted to showcase his heritage with the guys in the platoon. Not quite. He wrote back to thank me for my gallant efforts, but stated "Mom, you are so goofy! The Drill Sgts just laughed at me, and the whole platoon laughed too. I don't need chopstix I needed Chapstix. But I love you Mom, you're awesome." Well, as you can imagine, I had to laugh too. I immediately wrote the boy, corrected his spelling, and went out and bought 4 various flavored Chapstick and Carmex brand lip balm so he could share if he needed to. I always try to think of a buddy next to him that may not have a mother that writes two or three letters a day! At least this way he'll be to save the lips of several U.S. Army Soldiers! Oh, and he's going to Alaska, not Iraq! This is good news for anyone wanting to learn to play football in the snow...his only complaint was that with Oklahoma and Iraq being of the same type of weather, Alaska was going to kiss his butt weatherwise. I bet he adapts. He's Army!

Baby Boy Sent to the Gas Chamber! (Twice)
Yes, this is true...in the U.S.Army they train their recruits to withstand all sorts of trials and probable situations. Mr. Reuben was sent to the CS (crowd control) Gas Chamber for training. He was not one of the vomit-boys as they call them. He said he belched for hours, but survived it twice! He also said it was gross, disgusting, hard to do, and he never wanted the experience again. The Drill Sgt was taking their pictures when they exited the chamber for their scrapbooks I guess. Also, he was allowed to fight with a pugle stick...actually expected to. Reuben has been a pugler for many years out in the backyard playing Army as a kid and teen...his first opponent lasted 4 seconds. The next about the same, and this pattern continued until one guy dropped his pugle and threw a punch...Drill Sgts pulled the boys apart and told Reuben he couldn't kill his own men...guess that Gas Chamber messes with ya! The other guy is his battle buddy and they will no doubt end up being best friends over it. That always happens.

We may have an agent!!
Ann Gordon of Hollywood Paws is looking over Faith's website and will be making a decision soon about whether or not to represent her! Oh, this is so cool. Since the book will be made into a movie that can be presented to Lifetime and/or Pax, Faith can probably be guaranteed to play herself, don't you think? Wish Ann the best and keep Faith and our family in your mind and hearts as we seek this very necessary step in her life.

Faith Alone!
I am asking for prayer again from any and everyone who is willing to do so. I know that FAITH is something we must all have, and I don't mind asking for help. I am behind in my October rent due to the decision of my publisher Xlibris not to pay me this quarter on time. Please pray that all will be well, and that my needs will be met. I appreciate that. On to better news: First Lady Laura Bush has asked to see a copy of my book "With a Little Faith" and it will be sent to her today through Xlibris. This is good news because I will be doing a bookstore signing on November 3 and Mrs. Bush will be present! I can't wait. Also, my book that is a companion to With a Little Faith comes out in about 4-5 weeks. It is called "Faith Alone: Stories of an Amazing Dog". It should be out just after the bookstore signing in Martinburg Co., West Virginia at the Olde Towne Bookstore. The poetry book "Periwinkle" which has NOTHING to do with my dog Faith, comes out in about 3 weeks. It can be purchased at Amazon or ordered through Barnes and Noble. I will keep everyone posted. Thanks for the prayers, Jesus ALWAYS provides.

October Parties
Faith is doing a few Howl-o-Ween things, and it's fun. We're going to PetSmart on Memorial and Penn on October 21-22 from 12-3 to benefit the Oklahoma City Animal Adoptions, and it should be fun. I'll put a little jester collar on Faith to put her in the spirit of Halloween. Brown Gravy Productions found us a party to go to on October 28. We can be found in Dallas, TX at a private party....ohhhh, we have no idea who owns the house, but have been promised not only a good time, but a ghostly one too! Can't wait. I have no actually Halloween night plans, so maybe I'll take Faith to the local hospitals and put a little jester's collar, cap and/or mask for her to be festive and fun. That should shake up a few laughs in the wards!!

Gotta Go
We're moving from our old house at 103 Woodbridge Circle, Edmond, OK so if you're planning on egging us....go ahead...we won't be there! Happy Halloween! Cookies and candy at my new house, but I can't tell you where that is if you're not a local friend. If you are, call me...we'll do coffee.!

Halloween Parties with Faith
We were suppose to go to the Panama City, Florida area, but it looks like that isn't going to happen. We didn't get booked correctly, but we'll make it another time. I do have a gig in Dallas on the 28th now, but it's very intimate, a private party. Faith was requested by name. Awesome! Hope she has fun. We'll be wearing Army Olive and Drab!

Confessions of a NON-groupie
Yes, it's true...I wasn't a groupie. During the years 1977-1985 I did attend more than 300 concerts, not paying for any of them, and yes, I met 95% of every one of the rockstars and/or artists that I ever saw perform. OK...I even kissed few: Bryan Adams, Alex Van Halen, Steve Perry, Steve Walsh, and Mike Vojtesak...Oh, wait - he was a baseball player for Nebraska University...Nevermind. The simple fact is, I worked for myself as a contractor thorugh Concerts West, and traveled with bands because they needed drivers, food runners, cable pullers, etc. I had a couple of friends that ran larger venues such as the Myriad in Oklahoma City, and the Mabee Center in Tulsa. My daughter wanted me to confess this information because she feels that her love for rockstars comes naturally, and my desire to have Faith in a rock video comes naturally too. She lies and tells everyone that Alex Van Halen is her father, but we last saw each other in 1983, so since she was born in 1990...well, you do the math. Oh, and by the way, if anyone was wondering...Bryan Adams and Alex have to be tied at best kisser! Na na na, na, na, na na,na...na na

Faith to be in a Rock n Roll Video
We're getting offers - time to put your offer in too. Faith would be the best at running through the clouds, or making some fantasy video come true. It's not the best idea for a serious video, no, but for fun, laughs, quirky attitude and well - rock - it would be fun to have Faith in your video. We have to make decisions soon, so if you're a band - popular or not - and you want to do a video, just let us know. I can work something out.

PFC Stringfellow turns Platoon Guide!
After only 2 full weeks in the U.S. Army, my son Reuben has become the Platoon Guide for the 2nd Platoon in his Battation. Now, if I can get him to spell Platoon and Battalion I'll be excited. He writes me on a regular basis, and he tells me that they are feeding him fantastically, that means he's getting more than he thought he would. He runs 10 miles a day, works out, gets to be the leader like he was when he was playing football in high school - which is usually the QB's job, but it was REUBEN at Putnam City High School drilling everyone and leading them to so many championship/conference wins. He has been a leader since the day he was born. So proud, so proud....Private First Class Stringfellow, 2nd Platoon's PG, sounds good to me. His plan is to be in the Army 20 years, teach History and Coach football there, and then get out and do it in a regular school, take 15 or so State Championships, retire with Kylie Lamb as his wife (I'm hoping Feb.) and they'll have 6 little Reubens running around.

Pop goes the Manager!!!
Guess what...my new manager dumped me! Yes, after he and the woman who wanted to play me in the movie about Faith decided to write a screenplay adaptation of my book without asking my permission or paying me, he decided that he couldn't represent me if I was upset about the way the woman was handling the script. She was nit-picking and I told her to concentrate on the main facts of Faith's inspirational healing powers, her courage, her international abilities to open doors through her smiling face and her brave heart...so, he dumped me. Contracts mean very little I suppose, or maybe he realized that he can't take what isn't his - my intellectual property - and turn it into his project. Whatever the case, please know that we will pursue a movie deal with Faith, I will write the screenplay myself, and if someone out there wants to morally, ethically, and with good character help me, please e-mail me. Contracts are suppose to be binding - aren't they?

Bands EVERYWHERE!
What is it with rock bands writing to me on Myspace and needing answers for exams they're taking? I guess the word got out that I'm an online professor and they just like playing with my brain. I don' t mind. I love teaching, and I get to meet hundreds of talented people this way. Oh, and not just rock bands. I just met a mother so gorgeous, you won't believe she has 3 sons all ages (20, 18, 14) and they're all musical. Julie Fuller plays Folk Rock, her beautiful son Bonner Fuller is into his kind of rock and they're both new friends of mine on Myspace. But, I have to say this...my #1 favorite new new new band right now - for a really cool reason, is OKC Young Gunz and you can get a really cool new rap CD for only $6.00, that's pretty cheap. I think they may have a link on their Myspace. This thing is too dang cool. Faith's myspace is fun enough, mine is busting!

Henry Fletcher!
We have YES another cat. Why God, why me? OH, I remember, because I have children. OK, well Caity and Laura brought home an adorable 8 week old kitten (solid black) and stated that because it was October they feared for the cat being left out in the cold being solid black. They named him Fletcher after Tom in the band McFly, then they decided he needed a first name, so they named him Henry - I don't know why. He's adorable. He's fuzzy, he's cute, he's....a dang CAT! I'll survive it, I know I will. Henry likes Faith and everyone else in the house, his main competition remains Bliss the gray feline we already possess...or rather she possesses us...as cats do.

Reuben's Address Finally!
Yes, I have an address to write to my beautiful son. Without giving out too much information, let it suffice t know that boys that don't call their mothers get extra KP duty! If he washs the dishes in the Army like he washs them at home, I'd rinse a couple of times before eating off the plate he hands me.

My Space goes to the DOGS
Hello and yes..I'm being fun again. I just added Faith to the fantastic chatty, meeting place of Myspace.com Her e-mail address there is: faith_stringfellow@yahoo.com so you can add her to your friends list. We will add anyone that doesn't have inappropriate material on their site. We will be checking first. If you're a kid and you're into "death" and "dark" sides, that's OK, but no real mean, nasty, ugly, cynical people please. I added her and immediately found 4 friends. This may be the only way to actually get some of the questions answered that pop up so much. Go to www.myspace.com and join, then add Faith the Dog as your friend. She's not too hard to find, I think she's the only yellow, two-legged dog on myspace, but I could be wrong. Have fun! My myspace is under : judeauthor

Reuben called from Ft. Knox!
Yes, my baby boy is safe and he's in uniform. He said the Army was treating him well, and that he is eating and sleeping well. The fort is under water due to heavy rains, but he's managing. His bank account got all screwed up - a common U.S. Armed Forces problem I'm told, but he should be back on track soon. He couldn't give me his address over the phone, but has sent a letter to tell me where to mail the cards, letters, and reading materials. I think I'll send him some Algebra workbooks too just for fun! Hahaha. Just for fun - if you wanted to - you could go to a geneology forum on the internet and put in "REUBEN STRINGFELLOW" and find out that my son is number 17. He's the 17th Reuben in our family line. That's a lot of Reu. He's a great kid. He loves his Mom. There are pictures posted in the photo gallery.

2nd Update on Pop
We went to the hospital to see Pop! He is in a room at the VERY end of the hall. Getting to him was a chore because everyone had already heard that Faith was coming for a visit. We stopped by about 10 rooms before we got to his room. He was sitting up, and the first thing Faith did when she saw him was whiney-bark like she does when she sees him or my mom. She cry-barks because she loves him so much. He was all hooked up to chords and tubes. She was trying to rescue him I think, she was sniffing around his ankles at the leg-hose they put on him to stop any blood clotting. Faith had never seen him like this, and it got to her a little. She settled down when he began petting her and giving her 1/2 of his lunch. We had to tell the nurses about the lunch so they wouldn't mark down that he ate all of it! That's how he stays so thin...he feeds 1/2 of whatever he's eating to Faith. After we saw Pop we saw all 1848 employees on that shift! We saw them in the halls, and outside of rooms. We visited the Pediatrics and the surgery recovery rooms as well as the employee picnic that was taking place outside. We even met the CEO of the hospital! It was great. Faith loves going to places and making people happy....this was a really really really good time to do it. Pop's doing great.

Reuben is in Ft. Knox
Yes, I have a Ft. Knox connection! Just as I mentioned that to my son, he told me that he learned in High School that we don't really count on the gold standard in our country, it's more about commerce and what we will or won't pay for something. Thanks boy. I needed that! Actually, I cried like a Mother when he took his oath, and when they asked if any of the soldiers had any reservations or objections...well, I raised my hand. I know, I'm not technically suppose to do that, but if I didn't I wouldn't have the right to say I actually do object. I don't object to my son being in the U.S. Army, but I do object him having to leave to do it! He's my baby! God is not a mother! George Bush is not a mother! I love them both, but mothers don't send their sons to the cross, and mothers don't send their babies to the war. Men do that. I'm a mom, and I cried...proudly. I am very very very proud of my son. Too proud for words even. He knows he will be prayed over 24/7/365 and I have asked God for an extra angel just for the boy to take with him wherever he goes. He is training to drive M1 Abram tanks. Next time you see one...say a little prayer for my Reu. Thank you. (I love you PFC Stringfellow)

It's Official! I have a Manager!
Actually, Faith and I both have a manager. We have a great one too! Charles Malcom of Newman Thomas Management Co. out of Beverly Hills, CA. I was a bit off on the name the last time I wrote about it. Contracts have been signed, sent off, and we're looking forward to everyone and anyone who is interested in contacting us or contacting Charles in order for Faith to come see you. We're getting offers for movies, commercials, and shows, which is exactly what I think Faith needs to do. Her story is simply too inspiring not to be seen, and not to be experienced first hand if possible. I know it was a rough ride for some while I was trying to find arrangements to get to you. Well, now, all of that is up to Charles! He's the man to go to. Write to me, I'll forward it to him if you want us to come out - and if he allows me - I will post his web information so that you can contact him directly. Should be fun! Look forward to some really good stuff coming down the pike really soon.

McFly! GREAT British band
Hello to McFly, one of the absolute best bands I have ever heard coming out of the UK. I have always loved British bands, beginning of course with the Bee Gees, Lulu, Elton, and so many others. McFly is not new, but they're young, fresh, fantastic, and you just have to listen to them. Their myspace is simply www.myspace.com/mcfly You can google them, listen to their music, and maybe...if you beg them enough, they may just want to do a video with you know who! I hope so, she'd love it! I love you guys, and hope you have the best of times here in America.

Reuben's last weekend with us.
Mr. Reuben is going away! It is so sad. He'll be in Ft. Knox, KY soon, being the Army man he was suppose to be. We had a big time party for him today. I thought it was going to be a small gathering...didn't turn out that way. We didn't have enough cake, drinks, ice, cups, forks, spoons, room in the house, or chairs for everyone. That's the good news. The bad news is...we had to have a party in the first place because he's going to be going away. I will truly miss my baby boy. I have been able to post a couple of pictures on my myspace. You guys can go look at me there. It is www.myspace.com/judeauthor Pretty easy. You can get one too. There is a slide show you can see. I'm hoping my photo gallery on this site gets fixed soon. Pray for Reu. He'll be driving tanks soon...just to protect you and me.

Pop's MRI is good.
Dad was suppose to have surgery but the EKG proved his heart was irregularly beating. He needed a stress test. They couldn't stress the old man, and I told my mom to let me have him for 30 seconds. I can get that heart of his racing 10 miles a minute usually. I've always been pretty good at jumpstarting my dad's heart! He'll be OK. They gave him an MRI, proved he had a heart, and then thought it was in fairly decent shape. He'll have the prostate surgery soon, and then be back in his woodworking shop I imagine. I have a fan/light fixture I'm planning on him installing - so he'd better be up and about! Pray for the old guy...he's nervous about the whole thing.

Two bad apples!
Because two (2) separate Florida shows have either engaged me (and therefore, Faith) in a performance and/or show and have not paid - or have cancelled midway - I have accepted the services of an attorney to review all contracts. Please see the BOOKING page if you are interested in having us out to do a show. It is NOT cheap, and the airlines are problematic - it can be done however, and believe me, we do like to show up and show off Faith's love and courage to those willing to bring us out 100% instead of cancelling, or asking us to drive thousands of miles when we simply can't do that. I'm a teacher for goodness sakes. I wish I could go everywhere, but I simply can't. We have to charge and it's not cheap. Faith can't fly often. It really is a privledge when she is invited.

THE AUSSIES ARE COMING!!
The Australian film crew from Talk to the Animals is coming out next week, Monday September 18, to film us for their show. I don't know when the show will air, but maybe we can get them to post it on YouTube.com and we can all watch it! That would be great. We were asked to do the standard fun things that everyone wants to see Faith do: Go to Starbucks, the bank, shopping, and to the park, but we also get to go to the LIBRARY! Oh, I know, that doesn't sound like much fun to some people, but to a reader and a teacher like me....OH, it's Heaven on Earth! Google the show, and see the great people from Down Under who are coming all the way over this way...just to see Faith. She's awesome.

MATRIX TURNS SEVEN!!
Hey everyone - Faith's "brother" Matrix is turning 7 on the 8th of September, and he's finally turning a little grey around the snout! We wondered how long it would take. He's perfectly distinguished looking. Matrix, as you know, gives up all of the limelight so that Faith can shine in her own! He's great! He's my perfect little mutt, and I love the stuffings out of him. He's a 1/2 Dachshund 1/2 Beagle mix, tri-color, mostly black, and he has is own Dogster page. Happy Birthday Matrix!!

Movie Adaptation
I can't say much yet. You can understand - I want the contracts to be in hand first. BUTTTT...we may have a great opportunity to showcase Faith's great story through an amazing man and his vision to adapt my book "With a Little Faith" into a movie for TV. I can't say who may buy it but it's a major network. Cool Stuff! God is so great. This would mean millions of people would get to see Faith strut her stuff. Keep us in your prayers! (Thanks to Sylva K.)

Pop's surgery postponed - I need an agent
For all those wonderful people who were praying for my dad's surgery on the 7th, it has been postponed. He had an irregular EKG and has to see a heart doctor first. So...keep the prayers going. Since you'll be in prayer mode - please ask God Himself to send me an agent for my books and for Faith. We truly need one. The books could make such a difference in people's lives if they were mainstreamed. Faith could be seen by much larger audiences and touch more lives. Thanks.

Faith Alone-Stories of an Amazing Dog
My book is being published. It is complete - at the printers, and will be ready in early December, maybe late November. I hate the waiting. The book is titled "Faith Alone - Stories of an Amazing Dog" and is about 150 pages long. Not too long. It was written with kids in mind, but can be read by anyone and everyone. I tried to keep the reading level between the 5-8th grade levels so that kids can use it for reports at school. Faith is an amazing dog and deserves to be studied, talked about, shared, and loved.

KMPS 94.1 SEATTLE
The Morning Crew with Ichabad Cain called me this morning and WOW! It was awesome. We talked about Faith of course, and how she gets around, does her business, and goes places. We talked about how great my puppy dog is, and I have to admit...I love her! She's an incredible dog, and sometimes I forget just how wonderful. We think the world of her. Go look up the station to see the crazy people I was talking to. I loved it. Can't wait to meet the crew in mid September when we go out for the Ft. Lewis base animal show. Thanks for calling! Call anytime.

Reuben leaves September 20
Reuben has enlisted in the United States Army, and he will be shipped off to his Basic Training on September 20. This is the day I cry my eyes out, so please don't expect any activity on the site. I will try to post pictures - my webmaster is working on the photo gallery section of the site so that I can do it myself. Be in prayer for Reuben, Faith's original rescuer. He's going out there to drive tanks and to protect the rest of us this time. I love my baby boy! Reuben is 20 now. He has graduated from H.S. and has completed 9 hours of college. He will continue his college education in the military, probably through the University of Maryland.

God is too good!
You know what! I don't care what American Airlines did by changing their policy on celebrity pets. IF God wants us to be with children who are getting chemo treatments or with soldiers who will be deploying, He will find a way! American Airlines is not the end-all to the world's needs. Prase God and go on! Help us pray that Faith is not stopped just be American Airlines wants to ruin it for us.

Faith T-Shirts in Cleveland
A very unethical person who will remain unnamed, began making t-shirts with Faith's image on them and a little caption above the photo that said "I walked with Faith". This person then sold the t-shirts for $10 and claimed to give the money to the Greyhound Adoption of Ohio. If you bought one of these shirts I am sorry. We had nothing to do with it, but Linda Perko of the Greyhound Adoption of Ohio should be able to refund your money if you called and asked her to.

Periwinkle
The book Periwinkle has been submitted. All but the back photo has been sent in. It will be sent tomorrow. I have to take a picture that I like! I hate posing for pictures! I always look too fat. Oh well, the book is a poetry/prose collection and should be out in the stores by Christmas, it can be purchased online in November I am told. You'll want to use www.amazon.com or www.xlibris.com for the ordering. I'll post the ISBN as soon as I get it. The color periwinkle is not quite blue, which also describes my poetry.

Canine Fun Days
We are NOT working this week. Although I am available for work. I wanted to make that point just incase anyone was wondering - yes, please hire me, that would work for me. No, this weekend we are in Cleveland, OH doing the Canine Fun Days, and the Greyhound Reunion. I had no idea how poorly people in this world treat Greyhounds after they are too old to race. It's terrible! It really is, and I am just ashamed of what I have seen regarding the treatment of these animals. I'm glad Faith can help out and be a part of the Greyhound Adoption of Ohio support group. We have one in Oklahoma as well, and I'm sure Faith will have to make a few stops by their organization to lend a back-paw for their support too. I'll take some pictures and have them uploaded after the gallery gets going, my webmaster is working on that now. We are here with Tyson the Skateboarding Dog, he's so cute. He's adorable, but much bigger than I thought. He's 70-75 pounds, and he is constantly smiling! It's so adorable. Well, gotta go, but I'll post when I can. By the way - Brewster- This was posted on the 18th just incase you're keeping track - after 6:00 p.m.

Barnes and Noble OKC - DENTAL DEPOT OKC
OMG! The booksigning was a lot of fun. Faith wouldn't come out from under the bed when I needed to leave for the signing. I had to call in the "BIG GUNS" and have my dad and mom go in and get her. They brought her to the store, and she was more than happy to see everyone. My good friends showed up and a HUGE surprise came when my Aunt Gladys and cousin Randy showed up! I hadn't seen either of them in years. Wow!! We sold 30 books, which I'm told is awesome for a booksigning. I think it's funny, I went to the Dentist today and actually sold 15 more books! I wasn't even trying. I love my DENTAL DEPOT friends. If you need a dentist, go see a Dr. Ashmore...there are 3 of them, just pick.

Faith to be in COLLEGE books
I received an e-mail from a man who edits English language text books for Chinese students. He wanted to put Faith's story into a certain text book, with pictures of her walking. He said because it is a Chinese government project he would not be able to mention Christ in the way that I do, but he would be able to link the website to the book and allow the students to make their own choice about their worldviews concerning Jesus. Isn't that the way it's suppose to be? Yes! So, join with me in an amazing praise because it just doesn't get better than being able to tell over 300,000,000 people through college text books about the faith in a little dog walking upright. You gotta love those who are willing to step out. Thank you. I will erase this bulletin before the books are printed so that the authorities will not link the man to the event.

Oprah Rerun!
Yes, it happened today August 11. We were on the Oprah Winfrey Show thorugh a series of her summer re-runs. I have been answering calls and e-mails all day. Mostly asking why she didn't ask Laura about my book, but we're just happy to have the coverage for Faith's incredible story. Thank you Oprah and Harpo for rerunning the episode. Book Faire of the Olde Towne
We're on our way to a really cool place this fall. We're going to Martinburg-Berkley County in West Virginia, just across the river from Washington D.C., and I'm told the event is really going to be something to bring out the readers from as far as ....the White House! This would be really exciting for us. Faith has been a Bush fan for years. I think she's in love with Jake Bush, she certainly stares at the television when he is talking about his secret bean recipes. (hahaha) The event takes place November 3-4.

CNN, MSNBC, FOX and Others
I am a member of the VIP News Review, or something like that. Every week or so I am asked to take a short 5-7 minute interview online and/or survey. I decided to let Faith take the same survey, UNOFFICALLY of course. I asked her the questions and put pieces of paper with the answers : CNN, MSNBC, Fox, or other on the ground. Whichever she stood on first, scooted with her nose, or picked up with her teeth first was the answer. Forget the 5-7 minutes...it took 3 hours total because she absolutely didn't get the concept. After all was said and done, according to FAITH, the winner of the best news coverage from the point of view of the coverage on Israeli coverage is.....CNN! She walked all over their paper, and in this contest, that was the winning determination. NOW, the really big question: What CNN show had the best coverage? Sorry Anderson, she picked Paula!

Flint, Michigan, Cinn., Ohio, and Orlando, Florida coming up.
August 19-21 we'll be in Cinn. Ohio with the Greyhoud Adoption of Ohio! Can't wait, can't wait. We're goingt to talk to a few tv stations and meet great people, and have fun at a festival. August 23-24 we're going to be in Orlando! Yea, you gotta LOVE Florida in the heat of the summer! We're going to be speaking at the NOVA, National Org. for Victims Assoc. at a national conference, and that's going to be cool because my girls get to talk too! Yes! We'll be at the First Pres. Church in Flint, MI on October 9th! Looking forward to it, and they were kind enough to add my mother and father to their prayer list. Dad because he's having surgery on Sept. 7, and Mom, because Dad is about to drive her CRAZY!!!! Thanks to Lee Doll for all of her prayers and help getting us to the church. We can't wait.

Miko and Teddy! Chihuahuas
Well, no Parris for me, but that didn't stop my girls from getting themselves a couple of other dogs. The first is Teddy, a little Chihuahua that I told you about, but there is another one! Miko is Teddy's tiny, tiny, cousin, he's only 7 weeks old and 1.6 pounds. He was owned by the woman that sold Teddy to us for Caity's 16th birthday. Poor Miko had a scrotal hernia, the biggest I had ever seen on a dog under 5 pounds. The owner/breeder gave Miko to me because we agreed to have his hernia taken care of and then we were going to give him to a woman at our church who said she wanted a little dog. THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN. The woman got her own little dog before we could give Miko to her, so here we are now with another Chihuahua in our household. We had to write a letter to the association and ask permission because we're only suppose to have 3 dogs total. They allowed it! That's fantastic news for Miko, Teddy, and really for all of us. I have never known before how great these little dogs are, but I'm telling you, I'm in love! I'll try to get pictures soon. (Thanks to Dr. Easton of Boulevard Vet Clinic in Midwest City, OK for doing the surgery at a very reasonable price! She is a great doctor!)

Hill's Science Diet REJECTS Faith
Schloetzer/USATP/NA/HILLS/COLPAL@CO I had reason to believe that Hill's was interested in asking Faith to be in their advertisement. I contacted Hill's and they put me in touch with Joyce Schloetzer, who prompty wrote back and told me that Faith's deformities were not welcomed by Hill's. Something about the customers being distracted, not appeasing to the eye perhaps? Since when has being discriminatory good business? It was either the people at HARPO or the people at Pine Ridge TV that mentioned Hill's Science Diet to us, and said that they would LOVE to have Faith in their commercials. If I knew I would be treated the way I was by Joyce Schloetzer (emails saved) I would never have contacted them. Faith is far too good of an animal to be called names, or to be spoken of in a derrogitory manner. Oh, and as soon as I mentioned that I would be telling the company that suggested Hill's, I got another e-mail patronizing how great I was for taking Faith on, and how "special" Faith was. Yes, well..I think we'll let the people talk. No more Hill's for Faith. She and her vet will discuss her options.

No Parris for us, but perhaps for you!
Our family does things a bit differently than others. We talk things out, and we plan, and we work hard at a goal, but if for whatever reason something doesn't happen we take a step back and talk more about options, etc. Well, Parris, the little two-legged Chihuahua we were to receive from a wonderful family in Florida was unable to fly to us due to the American Airline restriction of temperatures being under 85 the day of the trip. We took a step back and my daughter Caity decided she wanted to be able to have a say in her 16th birthday present, which Parris was actually going to be presented as. We prayed about it, and she told me that she doesn't have the same convictions or thoughts about disabled dogs as I do, but that she loves dogs, she loves everything about them. She wanted a dog she could take places, show, be involved with, etc, and the AKC and other kennel clubs would not allow a dog with deformities or disabilities to perform or show. It was her decision, but one I back, she is my daughter and it was a family decision to try to get Parris, but it didn't work out even after we drove to Dallas to retrieve her - However, I am in contact with the owner(s) and am asking her if she wants me to allow YOU, someone reading this post, can write to Shandy and ask if you can arrange for Parris to be sent to you. Her e-mail address is: shandslam@gmail.com I will be always be available for online instruction, or by phone. I wish you the best.

Faith goes to ARCADIA, Oklahoma - not California
My mother belongs to the 1st Southern Baptist Church in Arcadia, Oklahoma. If you look for Arcadia you may not find it...it is THAT small. However, they have Vacation Bible School! Faith has a habit of showing up at Mom's church during VBS because they serve cheese every day and really good food that she can gobble down while she's being the cool local celebrity that she is. She's more than welcome in the church, and when she saw my mom the other day and her ear-piercing shrill of a bark went crazyyyyy....no one minded at all. She loves my parents, and just couldn't get enough of the 50 or so kids that showered her with love and ....cheese!!! Thanks guys. See ya next year.

Faith is not just a dog!
Because Faith was named Faith, you have to ask why? We named her Faith because of her belief that she could, through the help of Jesus, walk for herself. Because I am a Christian and wish the same for everyone else. If you, a person out there, who doesn't know whether or not you are a believer in Jesus, please...feel free to e-mail me and I will share with you the meaning of His grace toward me. I will share with you His words and by FAITH, you can ask Him to help you walk with him. Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, Romans 5:8 and Romans 10:9 are the 4 verses you need to read to understand that these are the end times and we really do have to make a choice for our eternal existance.

Animal Attractions Coming Soon
Faith will be in an upcoming Animal Attractions episode through your local PBS-TV station. You can check out the Animal Attractions website at the link below. Faith isn't on it yet, but she will be soon. They are updating it slowly and we'll add a real link soon. We filmed our segment in Jacksonville, FL in May and it was great fun! Thanks again to the people at Pineridge TV.

#1 Ranking of Print on Demand Books at Amazon
This is cool. I just found out through Foner Books that my book "With a Little Faith" is/was ranked #1 on Amazon for being a Print on Demand book. (I think that's what he meant) Self Publishing is the way to go if you ask me. I would like to move to a larger house now that I have been published and out on the market. More and more people get their start with self publishing, and it has been a challenge and a great reward. Go to Foner Books and look at all the blogs. They're very interesting. I appreciate the blog on ranking as I'm always trying to see where I am positioned in the book world.

Faith goes to Texas!
Faith is headed for Texas this next week to visit people at the Army Base in San Antonio. I don't know if we'll have time to stop by and see the SeaWorld show or not, but I'm sure the killer whales would do a double take if they saw Faith! Thanks again to Patrick McGhee of Ft. Lewis for setting this one up. Julie and Michelle at the base are doing a great job!

Publishing Query!
I ran across this really cool blog on the internet regarding my dog and my book. I'll include a link here so you can read it. It was very interesting to find out that there are seriously interested writers who have to ask whether or not pubilshing is worth the effort...my answer is YES! Here's the link, and thank you to the "Hesitant Writer" that set the blog up. LINK: http://writer-fallacies.blogspot.com/2006/05/to-publish-to-self-publish-or-not-to.html

Reuben is in the ARMY!
Reuben, the original rescuer of Faith, is now officially in the Army. He enlisted yesterday as an ABRAMS tank driver. He'll be trained to drive 26 ton machines over rough terrain in order to protect the people he loves. The really funny and somewhat ironic twist to this is: Reuben lost his license for speeding on the streets in Oklahoma! I guess the U.S.Army figures they can use those unconventional talents of riding a bit too heavy to their ultimate advantage. What do you bet those tanks perform a bit out of the ordinary in a couple of months! We love you Baby Boy! I am so proud of you.

PBS-TV ANIMAL ATTRACTIONS
Hi, our episode on Animal Attractions will be airing this summer. It's not set yet for a date, but keep looking for it. The best thing to do is to call your PBS-TV station and ask them when and where they are showing the new show "Animal Attractions" . You can bet it is going to be a really big success, and everyone will want to see the segments over and over again. I just got off the phone with the President and CEO of the company in Jacksonville, where we were filmed for the upcoming episode. He told me that they will be repeating the shows throughout the year. So, if you miss Faith's show you may be able to pick it back up again. If for some reason your city doesn't get PBS-TV....call the local stations and ask them to subscribe to it. You need to see it! PBS is the best television out there. It's family oriented and so very informational. We had the best time filming for them and I know you're going to love seeing Faith in the shows. As of right now she is not on their website, but that will change as we get closer to the date. Go to their website to understand a bit more about the show! Have fun! Learn a lot! www.animalattractionstv.com

St. John the Baptist Catholic Church
Hello to everyone at SJBC in Edmond, Oklahoma! We were able to come by the Commons today and speak with about 30-40 wonderful people who stop by the church every Wed. for what they call a Time Out. I didn't see anyone there worthy of a real Time Out, they were God-loving, people-caring people with the biggest smiles and hearts. Thanks to the caregivers, the staff, and of course the people of the church for inviting us. We loved it!! Hi also to Jonathan, who had the guts to come out to the courtyard to say hi before the show!! By the way, we discovered that Faith loves another man, usually she is too shy with men. The FATHER at the church was 100% accepted by Faith and he almost lost his lunch when she said hello to him!

Council Road Baptist Church
We saw soooooo many kids at the Council Road Baptist Church on Sunday! They ranged from Pre-K to 5th grade, and there must have been 100 or so! Maybe more. They were beautiful and well behaved kids that listened to their teachers and....well, I just can't say enough. They were absolutely wonderful. They fed Faith some gummi worms and crackers too. Little Bella and Kristen fed her popcorn! Faith was happy! She had to exercise a little more that day just to work off the calories. Thanks CRBC...you're great!

With A Little Faith - 2nd Edition
With A Little Faith is in its 2nd Edition, which is a good thing. First, the 1st Edition was actually NEVER suppose to be released with the many errors that it contains. I received it from Xlibris as an author's review. I reviewed it, circled 32 mistakes and sent it back. Rather than make the corrections, they printed it as is. This meant that the font on the 1st edition and the mistakes remained. Nothing could be more embarrassing for an English teacher than to have 32 or more mistakes in their first book. With the printing of the 2nd Ed. I was able to get 28 of the 32 mistakes corrected at least, and the font is much larger, rounder, fully, and the spacing between each word is such that the page count went from 168 to 290. There you go! This is the book that should have been sent out in the first place, however, I still wish the mistakes had been corrected. (Challenge yourself to find them) The book is available at any retail store by ordering it by the ISBN # which is: 142-57-1849-3 This is a completely different ISBN from the original, and should be used to guarantee that you receive the better book. The 2nd Ed. also has a little circular blast on the front of the jacket cover announcing that the book has been featured on such shows as OPRAH, Montel, and Inside Edition. This is good news for a print-on-demand book as well, as it may be that my book is one of the very first to have achieved this status. Cool! Good luck in ordering, and I do apologize to all of the people who purchased a book with the many mistakes and smaller font. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

More Two Legged Dogs
Hi everyone! I am getting e-mails weekly about people who have had puppies born without their limbs and they tell me that the mother dog is accepting them in most cases. It is the first thing I ask. I hope they all live, and I hope they all get adopted. I pray hard that everyone who has a dog that is the mother of a deformed dog will consider raising the puppy, or being extra careful about how they adopt it out. Dogs with special needs are absolutely wonderful as we have seen in Faith, and now in our new dog Parris, who will be adopted in July. She's a little Chiahuahua, black, and just as cute and cuddly as ever. We can't wait to make her a part of our family when she's old enough! Thanks Shandi for keeping her healthy and preparing her for her new trip to Oklahoma - and love.

OUT WITH XLIBRIS
I will NOT be using Xlibris to publish my books in the future, and if I can find a publisher that will take over my sales/distribution of "With a Little Faith" I will entertain that thought as well. I have reason to believe I have sold MANY more books than are being reported to me. I also have had numerous financial issues with Xlibris and choose never to trust them again with MY money. I was charged for things I was promised I would not be, and the money they took out of my checking account caused NSF funds to the tune of over $200 that they wanted me to PROVE was their fault. The last time I looked, my book was #1 on their best selling list. If they don't take me at my WORD, I will pull my WORDS from them and let another publisher make the money. Xlibris sent me the money they took out for the 10 books, but have failed to pay the NSF charges. I have cancelled my 2 books for the future with them, and I hope no one makes the mistakes I did. I will say this: Tracey, Greg, Jessee, Jones, and Michelle at Xlibris were awesome! Just simply awesome! The rest of the company can kiss my back page! If you want to let Xlibris know what you think about they way they treat their authors you can e-mail them at : 1. marketing@xlibris.com 2. This page will say it does not exist, but you can see the words "Contact Us" at the top right. 3. Click on Contact Us and fill out the form. Thank you!

NEW BOOKS COMING OUT IN NOVEMBER
I've written two new books which will be coming out in November. The first book is soley about Faith, and is written in 5-8th grade level reading so that it can be housed in any school library and so that more people will be able to read it easily. The second book I've written is a poetry book called "Periwinkle". It is a collection of my own poetry from the 70-80's with a few prose thrown in to connect the strings a bit. Look for the books on the shelves of your favorite bookstore. (I still need an agent by the way incase you are one and would like to get involved!)

We teased Duggan about Krossing the Wild Otter, but he said he does it all the time! G'Day Guys, and WELCOME to America!!!! Thanks Gizmag - Mike!

Ft. Lewis and Ft. McChord!
THESE PEOPLE ARE SOOOOOOO AWESOME! If you have never been to a military base before, and you wonder what's going on past those guarded posts, you have to find out! Ft. Lewis and Ft. McChord near SEATTLE have some of the greatest people on EARTH stationed and working at these bases. They are fun, uplifting, funny, crazy people with a few too many laughs and great bargains on name brand merchandise.....if you're military! We were treated extremely well, and get this: FAITH IS AN HONORARY SGT!! Yes, the SGT MGR at Ft. Lewis, (I dont' want to mess up his last name, so I'll look up the spelling and insert it here Monday) literally gave Faith a full honorary commission! She's ranked! Men and women saluted my dog all weekend! She had her little Desert Storm bandana on, and her 3 stripes. She was just the best dog, and you know she loved her men and women in uniform as well as their families and friends! There were lines that lasted over 2 hours for a chance to see Faith at Ft. Lewis Saturday, and we even got to visit the Madigan Army Medical Center and have a sit-down question and answer show just like...well, like nothing else, it was GREAT. I'll add an entire page soon about our experiences, and you can bet the stories from this weekend will go into the 2nd book "Faith Alone" to be out in the fall of 2006. I'll have pictures soon too. Just as soon as I get home and send them to Matt the Webmaster! Thanks McGhee! We had a great time! Can't wait to come back and sign books in about a month.

NEW BOOK ABOUT FAITH
Well, it happened! I have been asked to write a second book, this one is JUST ABOUT FAITH. The name of the book is "Faith Alone", and the subtitle is "Stories About An Amazing Dog". The book will be written over the next few weeks, submitted for press in early August and out around October. The companion book that I wanted to write "With a Lot of Grace" is going to have to wait. This book will be about 200 pages of text written in 5-8 grade level language so that a child can read it. It will have upward of 80-100 pictures of Faith and our family, friends, people we met, places she's been to. It will be a chronicle of time for when she was first a member of our family to what she is doing now, including her appearances on television, magazines, newspapers, personal appearances with military bases, hospitals, and children's homes. She is really very happy to know that I'm writing a book JUST on her. She told me so this morning when she pushed me out of bed! I think she wanted to be early to the library that I write from. Incase you're in the Edmond, Oklahoma area, I use the University of Central Oklahoma like it was a personal office. I have art galleries and over 70 computers to choose from! Come by and say hello if you're in the neighborhood. (We'll be in Seattle for a few days, so make it after the 11th of June)

OKLAHOMAN!
Today's OKLAHOMAN, the state's largest paper, has featured a story about Faith and our family on the front page of the FAMILY section. I can list a link, but you may be required to register to read it. I have asked my webmaster to post the story on the web, and he'll do so when he has the opportunity. The pictures of Faith were adorable, and I wish I could add them. They belong to the Oklahoman. However, we are going to be going to TULSA soon to do a shoot with the world reknown photographer Stephen Holman, and he will allow me to post some of the cutest pictures you will ever see I'm sure. He's the best photographer in the world. Here is the link to the article: http://newsok.com/print.php?article=1862967 If it dooesn't work I'll try later. But you can go to the www.newsok.com site and look on the site for the article. It's in the box on the right toward the top.

Joy of Self Publishing
This is a link to the story that was published by the Joy of Self Publishing. It is really interesting because it may be true that my book "With A Little Faith" is the first self published book featured on Oprah. Which makes sense because they weren't all that keen to do it! Now that I think about it, it may very well be the reason it wasn't showcased more, but that's OK..Jesus sells books, not Oprah. Here is the link.

Defend a Bull Blog
This is a place where pit bulls and other agressive breeds are discussed, and they seem to really want to reach out and help others to understand that not all bull dogs are bad. I found them to be very kind to me and to Faith and I wanted to share their message. I hope the link works. It will hopefully take you to the blog they wrote on Faith.

AMAZON EXCITEMENT
I received an e-mail from a woman that wants me to help her with her newborn 2 legged dog! I am so excited about it. I contacted her and said YES!!! Then, Amazon wrote and said the book was picking up again today, probably due to the Oklahoman's coverage. They say that the new 2nd Edition is available. The 2nd Edition has the new jacket cover, much the same as the first, but it does reflect that we have been on such shows recently as Oprah, Montel, and Inside Edition. I was also able to add the fact that my Ph.D. is in limbo, I have the ABD attached to it. (ABD = All But Dissertation) I have to defend and do a bit of research. Thanks again, and hopefully we'll be back in the top 100 soon.

Dogster People
Hi Guys! Faith is being bombarded with requests from members of Dogster who want her to be their Dog Pal. We have NO problem signing up but don't have time to talk to anyone when we do. We're busy working on a film deal, and another book revision. If you ask or request that Faith be your pal we will automatically add you, and love to have you ask, but please don't get upset when we don't have time to chat....I love Dogster, it's awesome! Kind of reminds me of a MySpace for dogs!

Ellen and Others
It was suggested by a great woman (and a fan of Faith) that I write to the Ellen Show and to other talk shows to see if they wanted to host Faith on their shows in order to show off her big smile and great abs! I have listed Ellen's Show on the link because it was the first one mentioned, but please feel free to write to any and every show you would like to see Faith appear on. We would love to be on Regis and Kelly, Letterman, Leno, The View, anywhere that people would love to be touched and inspired by Faith's happy story and her love for healing. Thanks.

Just know that I do thank you, and even though I can't write back, we are honored that you wrote and are looking forward to someday being able to write back to say hello.

OPRAH FRIDAY MAY 19
The Oprah Show was on May 19, and it was fantastic. I was asked not to use words such as "SEEN ON THE OPRAH SHOW" to promote my book, therefore, I won't. Rather than saying that, I will add a blurb about Faith being seen on such shows as Oprah, Montel, Inside Edition, and Animal Attractions. Animal Attractions is a fantastic PBS-TV show that will air in the fall. It is not out yet. (Neither is the jacket of my new book) I was too sick to fly to Chicago to do the Oprah Show, but my daughters Laura and Caity went and were treated very well, and they were most impressed with their gracious hostess. They confirmed everyone's question as to whether she was as nice in person as she appears to be on TV. They said....BETTER. They had some difficulties returning from Chicago, a source for an article on traveling experiences with a two-legged dog, but nevertheless we have them save and sound at home again and we're ready to fly out to Los Angeles soon to do another show for another beautiful woman...no, I won't let the name drop...just yet.

DOWN UNDER
I'm told that Faith has appeared down under! This is something that came as a surprise to me. Usually we are told before she will be starring or appearing in a news reel, but hey....w'ere cool! We love hearing that people are interested in our little dog's life. She has been meeting people at the airports lately and I do remember a kind man saying he was with a news station in Sydney. Perhaps he carried her loving story with him to tell the world just a bit more about Faith and her true message of courage. You have to admit, she does look like a kangaroo! Perhaps she'll be invited to an outback party someday...I don't know, 24 hours on the plane sounds a bit daunting...but you do what you gotta do! Thanks TODAY TONIGHT for the coverage. We hope your viewers fall madly in love with Faith forever!

PBS-TV Florida
OHHHHHHH, the fun we had was awesome! Soon we will have pictures of Faith playing in the Atlantic Ocean. We came to Jacksonville, FL on May 8 and just played and filmed, and shopped, ate great Italian food, and you know....met the greatest people in the world. The crew of the Pine Ridge Film & Television Company, (a Jerry Smith company) were so fantastic that words are not enough to describe them. Thank you guys! Shout out to them all: Michelle, Amy, Ron, Gideon, Ben, Dave, Diane, Cindy, Jerry, Hillary, Stevie,Dov, Hannah, Bill Barnett, Bill Jr., Oscar, and Angie (Wow, I hope I'm not missing anyone) and a GIANT shout out to EMILY! JANIE! and JIMMY! The best looking kids in FLORIDA!! Also, we can't say the name of the High School we visited, but it's in Wolfson, and they're a small district, you do the math! Hey Kevin, I told Manuel you looked just like him!!! Thanks again PBS and Pine Ridge. We'll look for the show to air in August or so! The show is called "Animal Attractions"...it's new for this fall.

AAFES in Ft. Worth
We had the greatest time at the AAFES yesterday in Ft. Worth. Besides nearly being kicked off the base when officer RICO of the Visitor's station told us a dog...can you believe it..a dog could not be inside the center. Faith is not a dog! Well, OK, she is, but still. She's FAITH. Well, we made it to the BX (store) and we shopped, and we talked to people, loved on people, answered questions, and we passed out flyers about my book. I love this job!!! Oh, and then there's this...Cathy and Tanya gave me CHOCOLATE!!! I will do a lot of talking for Godiva. We're going to be featured in their newsletter because Faithwas giving out kisses to Col. Ballentine too! It was great great fun. Can't wait to go to Seattle and do it again with the troops at Ft. Lewis....look out Starbucks I'm coming!

Animal Radio
OOPS, somehow the information about being on Animal Radio was erased. I was interviewed about 2 weeks ago for a great radio show called "Animal Radio" which aired last week and ran online for the entire week, and finally ending on April 21. The hosts, Hal Abrams and Judy Francis are so much fun, and they are really very nice. I wanted to encourage you, if you are animal lovers, to go to www.animalradio.com and just listen to their broadcast. It is so much information and usually has great reviews of books and animal related programs.

UPDATE! UPDATE! UPDATE!
INSIDE EDITION - runs tomorrow, April 26, 2006 check your local stations. For Oklahoma City that would be 3:00 p.m. CST, and on KFOR-tv Channel 4! IN TOUCH WEEKLY will feature Faith in their May 15 issue. They couldn't get in touch with Stephen Holman, Faith's official photographer until after the closing of the May 8 issue. The magazines run a week ahead in dating, but they close rather early to be sure and hold room for those really cool stories about Spears and Simpson! Personally, I think Faith is a prettier blonde, and she doesn't have all the baggage! Animal Daze - PBS TV show films May 8-10 in Jacksonville, FL

Well, I guess the news about Faith is out! MSNBC released the Montel video on their stations today, and a surge of sales and e-mails hit me this morning before breakfast. I missed it personally, but I knew something had happened. My phone was ringing off the wall. Also, Inside Edition just wrapped 30 minutes ago, they filmed a great segment of Faith going into PetCo, the vets, and just having a great time. I will update the site so you know when to tune into your local station. Thanks MSN!

We were interviewed by Animal Radio last week and it airred this week. It can be heard online at www.animalradio.com and then you go to the section that says "Listen Now" and when you get there you will have to click on a link that launches "This Week's Show". It will be on until THIS Friday afternoon (4/21). It was fun and Hal and Judy are really nice people. They are great animal lovers. I don't receive Animal Radio in my town, but I wish we did!

Foreign Publishers!
Foreign publishers need to contact me quickly. I need your contact information regarding your desire to publish "With a Little Faith" in another language other than English. Soon I will be with a publishing house much larger than what I am with now, and they need your information in order to determine the best route to take. Thank you.

HAPPY 20TH BIRTHDAY TO REUBEN!!!
Reuben Stringfellow, my son who rescued Faith in the first place, is turning 20 today! I can't believe my little boy is all grown up! Well, at 6'2", 220 pounds, he better be about finished growing. He's adorable ladies, and completely single. You can see him on My Space, I think it's RubyTuesday or something like that. I love you Baby Boy!

KDFW-TV Good Day Dallas
The fun!!! We were in Dallas on 3-14 to do a segment on Good Day Dallas, and it was great. We had the best of times in that city. Traffic was worth it! Faith met so many great people and we were able to promote her story and the book. In fact, we were contacted by a film crew in the US that wants to film Faith in Panama for a music video in April! How cool is that. Stay tuned for more information about it.

BBC Documentary to come in 2006
Hey everyone, we were contacted by the BBC to do a possible documentary in 2006. It is to be a really interesting show dealing with Darwin's theory of evolution and I suppose introducing a truly bipedal dog is part of history! You have to admit that Faith is rather unique and I think Darwin would have loved her! Look for Faith's wagging tongue to be seen worldwide in 2006 not only on the BBC, but in an upcoming rock video as well. She loves the camera! My book is being received well in China and Japan, so this could be another way of sharing the "Faith" with the world. Have a great winter and I'll get back to you soon!

NEW YORK WAS GREAT
Hello everyone! You are missing out of life if you don't visit NYC at least once. We've been several times with Faith, and interestingly, we've stayed at the Skyline on 10th Ave and 49th Street most every time we've stayed. This trip we noticed (for the first time) that it is located in the district called "Hell's Kitchen". If you hear the term on Law & Order, CSI-New York, or Without a Trace, the area is portrayed as being really run-down and grungy...it's not bad. We felt welcomed every time and we met some really incredible people at Fat Sal's Pizza located just across the street from the wonderful Skyline. You have to try the brocoli or mac & cheese pizza! I'm serious. Faith will be featured on a morning talk-show, though I'm not suppose to leak the name of the host. I'll give you a hint: He's tall, good-looking, funny, and he's popular enough to only use his first name! That narrows it down for you. The show should air the first week of January, but I'll keep you posted. If you look for the title "Incredible Pets" you can find it on your TeVo.

Faith is a trademark
Hey this is cool. Faith is now a trade mark belonging to me, Jude Stringfellow. Who would have thought that a name of a little dog could become so loved that it could become a real live trademark? It became necessary to give Faith the trademark status so that no one could use her image or name without proper permission. Faith's reputation is so clean, and so wonderful, that we don't need any problems in the future. Thanks for loving Faith, and keep looking for new and exciting things to happen for Faith in the very near future...not only with the book that I'm writing, but with motivational speaking and circuit-type settings where we can meet wonderful people like you! Keep us in your prayers! This could happen.
